House was perfect for our needs. spacious, lots of beds, and even toys for the baby. the house looked exactly what the pictures looked like. Very clean. We really enjoyed our stay and would really recommend this house.

nice cabin in the woods. you can see the neighbors, but they weren't that close. everything was clean. enjoyed our visit. would have been even better if it wasn't cold and rainy outside, but hot tub helped with that.

This oasis has a gorgeous private stream beside a manicured yard including a fire pit, a private deck for grilling or sun bathing, cozy front porch area and a hot tub also with stream views. Inside is immaculate with comfortable luxury beds and rustic looking decor to make you feel pampered while you still enjoy camping activities. There is a quaint country road where there is minimal traffic for beautiful countryside walks and views of multiple small streams and farms. Ducks, kitties and squirrels are happily scampering. Soooo fun. And Mike takes literally seconds to respond when you need anything at all but also allows you this space for ultimate privacy. Don’t miss this seriously.

The place was perfect for a couples getaway. The cabin was gorgeous and clean, the surroundings were peaceful and the hot tub was very nice. Had everything needed and was the perfect size for two people. Would definitely come visit again. Thank you!

Beautiful home and property! Everything looks new and was clean. The decor was lovely and perfect for a cabin. Plenty of cookware and supplies for cooking. The game room and hot tub were really nice features and kept us entertained during a rainy weekend. There is access to the stream and trails but we didn’t have much luck catching fish. I was a bit disappointed that the dartboard wasn’t working properly but everything else worked well. They even had a cornhole setup. One layout downfall was the kids bunk bed room is next to the game room so we weren’t able to use it after the kids were sleeping. Just something to keep in mind with young kids. They didn’t have regular bed pillows, just the ones with shams that come with the bedding which was odd. We had a wonderful weekend overall and I would definitely recommend staying here. Penny was great to work with and always got back to us quickly.

This was the nicest and most accommodating Air Bnb we've stayed in yet! Interior was very nicely furnished, everything was set up for us, beds made, bathrooms stocked, kitchen utensils and machines all well taken care of and maintained. the place was spotless! It felt like home when we walked in :) a perfect getaway for us and our toddler. 10/10 would recommend and return for another stay. Thanks Chris!

Garret's cabin was a great place and just what we needed for a fishing getaway. Garrett was amazing to communicate with. This was our second stay and we will be back. Garret's place never disappoints.

This is the perfect little cabin in the woods! It was so peaceful and quiet. Everything about this place was just perfect. From location, to cleanliness, to communication with the host...we could not have found a better place to stay for the weekend. I cannot wait to come back and just spend a whole weekend sitting on the porch relaxing!

The place was clean and friendly. The kitchen was great and the back porch, yard was wonderful. The stream out back was lovely.

We had such a great time at Thomas’s little cabin. He was very responsive. His cabin is beautiful and very clean. The wood stove made it really cozy. We had a snowy day and it was beautiful. We walked up the road in the snow to where it becomes State Game Land. We also went for a hike at Ricketts Glenn State Park which is only ten minutes away.

A wonderfully peaceful and relaxing weekend getaway! The cabin was perfect and exactly what we were looking for - cozy, welcoming, clean and beautiful views. The running creek was so calming to listen to in the evening, the kitchen very well stocked and the festive lights on the front porch helped to guide the way when we were driving back in the evening. This was a perfect choice for us to visit and stay over in! It was immaculately clean and just an absolute beautiful cabin! Everything was so well organized and there wasn't anything that we needed that wasn't provided! We will definitely look forward to a longer visit next time! I can't say enough about what a beautiful place it is! The view was incredible and Wanda responded immediately with any questions! A perfect peaceful weekend getaway!

Thanks so much to Suzanne for a cozy 40th birthday stay! We especially loved the fire pit, the spacious living room, and the perfectly-placed hooks to organize everything. The GPS dropped us off further south on Route 235 then the main entrance, but Suzanne answered the phone immediately and very kindly got us to where we needed to go. We heard, but didn't see, a pack of coyotes (we think) up the mountainside the night of our second stay. We strongly recommend this place!

Brian’s cabin was very nice and in a great location. It fit, myself and my family very comfortably with lots of room and space to accommodate everybody. We love the outdoor fire pit and the front porch on a rainy day! Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate to fish as much as we would like to, but it gave us an opportunity to bond within the cabin and make memories that will last a lifetime. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who likes fishing or just wants to get away for a weekend with their family. Brian was very responsive and was an amazing host. Hopefully in the future, we will be able to stay there again.

Thirteen of us stayed at Lake Akela Lodge for three nights and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. The expansive grounds are well maintained, and the view is breathtaking. The interior layout is clever, with two bathrooms on each floor and at least one window in every single room in the home. It was easy to gather together for conversation, meals and games, but equally as simple to spread out when a little solitude was in order. We enjoyed the comfortable mattresses, nights around the fire pit, barbecuing, kayaking, the porch swing and rocking chairs, catch and release fishing, and the peace, beauty, and serenity. Host Jessica and Cohost Jason were always kind and very responsive. This is a special property - a hidden gem of sorts - and we would definitely love to return.
