We really enjoyed our time at Grant and Laura’s place! They’ve truly thought of everything to make their guests feel at home. The place is spacious, beautifully decorated and spotless. Everything was perfect! The location was amazing, just a quick walk to the beach and restaurants. They have beach chairs and towels ready for use. Plenty of other towels, trash bags and quality pillows in all bedrooms which we appreciated. We use Airbnbs often and our family agrees this house goes to the top of our list. We will definitely be back! Thanks so much for sharing your gem of a place with us. We really wish we could have made this a longer trip.

We enjoyed our week at Emma’s Dream! It was a beautiful home and description was accurate. There was lots of room, beautiful views and relaxing decks to spend time together. The beach was quiet and house is conveniently located near the pier and restaurants. We would definitely rent this home again.

We had a fantastic stay. The space is bright and clean, it has great indoor and outdoor space - both with incredible views. For families- there is a pack-n-play but no bath tub, not a deal breaker but plan ahead. It was very convenient to the beach and the public access next door did not disrupt the peace. The boats were very responsive and helpful. We will be back!!

Walt’s place is awesome! The home is gorgeous and the location is ideal. Perfect spot for anyone who wants to be close to local bars and restaurants. We enjoyed the amenities and the close proximity to the beach. Would love to stay here again in the future.

We had a great time at Lindsay’s place. Even tho it isn’t ocean front the walk to the ocean is right out the door. The top porch has a wonderful view. The part my family loved the most is everyone had control over their bedroom temperature. Everyone has their opinion on the best sleeping temp. I would warn, if you are traveling with a small child, there are some very steep stairs going down from the main floor. We had an 18 month old with us and trying to keep him off the steps was a chore. We finally blocked the space with some chairs and used the side door, so it wasn’t a problem. It was just a little stressful until we found a solution.

Beautiful location. Bungalow feel. Easy walk to the beach. Beautiful views of ocean from all rooms. We love this location on the island that sits up higher up with unobstructed views and easy walk to the beach. Fun setting. Nice to have 2 golf carts for this smaller house. We visit the island most summers but this was our first winter stay. Many of the stores were open during the dates between X-mas and New Years. Jailhouse Provisions did a New Years Eve ball drop at 6:00 pm which was a lot of fun and well attended.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this Airbnb . The location is unbeatable - just a short walk to the beach. What truly set this stay apart was the attention to detail from the host. It was the perfect place for a relaxing and memorable vacation!

Our stay was wonderful! Lori was a great host and responded quickly to our questions. The house was spotless and beautiful. She thought of all the little things. Great place to stay - I’d absolutely recommend.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Erin’s Home for Labor Day weekend. We were there to celebrate my birthday as well as time as a family. The home was well prepared for our stay and the necessities needed were all available. It’s such a beautiful home and having access to a pool on the premises was an added plus. The homeowners also provided us a list with information to any questions we may have needed answered which was a nice touch. I recommend anyone interested in renting a home to spend with family or friends, to consider a stay here. You won’t be disappointed! We had a great weekend staying here! There was plenty of room, the space was clean and updated, and the location was perfect! Dale was a great host and quick to respond if we had any questions! The only complaint we had was with the pool…which was listed as heated and available and definitely added to the price and allure of the house. But, the heat would only switch on periodically and the temperature never got out of the 50s (which made it essentially unusable). This was only mentioned in the binder once we arrived at the property. That being said, this would only be a problem for those renting the house during the colder months. Also, make sure to bring your own beach towels, as there were none provided. Otherwise, we were pleased with everything and would recommend staying here!

Home was exactly as described in details on Airbnb. Kitchen was well stocked to serve a big group and layout of home was wonderful.

POSH Was outstanding for a great Thanksgiving trip. Here, we created new memories after losing my husband just in September. Kerry was a very gracious and helpful host.

Great location, and a great time. Backyard with pool is perfect with plenty of room for activities and entertaining. You can walk to the beach and restaurants within minutes.

Great location on Oak Island. The house and neighbourhood is perfect and peaceful. The hosts are very responsive and I will be going back. The beds are really comfortable and the pool is perfect. We will be going back!

We are frequent AirBnB travelers, and this place was exceptional! Lots of space, super clean, great pool & hottub, LOVED the golf cart - a fantastic was to get around the island! Everything we needed was there from eco-friendly hygiene and cleaning items to every kitchen utensil needed to cook (which we did lots of!). The hosts were SUPER responsive when we had questions. Check out their guide book - lots of great to dos and local eateries! We've already recommended this place to friends and will definitely return if we're in the area. The Koi house was perfect for family. It has a completely fenced in yard which was great for our dog. Location is amazing…close to all that Carolina Beach has to offer yet tucked back enough to be private and peaceful. Thank you!

We stayed at Ric and Chelsea’s place for a week and everything was great! House was wonderful and exactly what our family needed. Lots of things to do at the house and in a very walkable location. Ric was very communicative. All around great stay.

We had a great time! The Oakland marathon was a blast. Elisabeth’s place was easy to access and perfect for what we needed. The kids loved the bunk room. It was walkable to the beach, clean and the perfect amount of space, we slept well & had what we needed for a comfortable stay. Grateful for the wagon beneath the house to use back and forth to the ocean & the lego’s were a huge hit. Thank you!!

This place served three family's well. It is close to the beach and in quiet area --which we enjoyed. And of course easy access to grocery stores and other town places. Only downer was we stayed four nights and not two. Items such as needed for kitchen and bathroom lasted for two days but not four. Perhaps that was a slip up., because Michael did a good job otherwise --making for a great place. (Just a reminder for those who stay longer.) I especially enjoyed the large front balcony that had ocean view. Nice to sit with family out there. AND a hint. Sept. and Oct are lovely times to go (in between hurricanes!!!)

We loved staying at Alva’s place! The house was very clean and well decorated. The view of the water on both sides was a big plus. There’s ample room to host large parties (we had 9 for a bachelorette). The driveway is easy to miss from the road, but otherwise, no issues. Beach access just across the street. Alva was prompt and kind in her responses. Would definitely rebook in the future!

Sasha's place was wonderful! She had thought of everything one might possibly need, and the house felt like home! We loved the bathrooms, living room, kitchen, and back porch. The entire house was very clean. The neighborhood was quiet, an easy walk to Middleton Park or the beach. She made great recommendations for local restaurants. We would definitely come back!

Michele’s house is clean, well appointed and very relaxing . Super comfortable beds (hands down way better than most vacation rentals), great kitchen with everything we needed to cook and gorgeous ocean views made this the perfect spot for our annual trip to Oak Island. The three outdoor decks gave us ample space to spread out and enjoy the views. The house is tastefully decorated with adorable art pieces and practical furnishings to eat, lounge and relax, without the cheesy beach rental feel. Lastly, the beautiful mature landscaping makes the house feel cocooned and so much more private than most beach houses. Highly recommend, and will 100% be back!!

My stay at Justin’s place was absolutely perfect! From the moment I arrived, I felt so welcomed—the home has such a warm and inviting atmosphere. The décor is beautiful, with thoughtful touches that make the space feel both stylish and cozy. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making for the best night’s sleep! It’s clear that Justin puts a lot of care into ensuring guests have an amazing experience. He was friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I can’t recommend this place enough and would love to stay here again!
