We loved the house and the proximity to the beach. We only walked to the beach once for the sunrise, but spent the rest of the time in the house. We loved that each room was spacious, clean, and had a bathroom for each room.

Diane was such a welcoming host! She reached out to make sure we arrived okay and we're able to get into the house with no issues. The house was incredibly clean and smelled so nice when we arrived! The location was super convenient to restaurants and shopping, as well as Wrightsville Beach and downtown Wilmington. The hot tub was great on the cool nights and our son loved the convertible football table, was a huge hit! I would definitely recommend a stay with Diane :)

The beach was. right. there. We ate in and the kitchen had all we needed. We also ate out and there were great choices. We had a great time at the Sea Witch on our last night. Bryan's place definitely felt like a little home away from home on the beach. It's a quaint cottage, packed with essentials and was just the right size for us two. I was very thankful for its size and no stairs when I unfortunately sprained my ankle on day 2 of our vacation and had to hobble around in crutches the rest of the time! Even though you're right off the main road, there was no noise and was pretty quiet and peaceful. Beach access is right down the road and very easily walkable, or hobbable. The hot tub was a great plus to relax in after a long night. Bryan was very communicative and prompt with questions we had prior to booking. Check-in was very easy and check-out instructions were very reasonable and clear. Overall a great stay that we would definitely book again!

Jim was a great host, always responsive. We had a slight issue with the air conditioner and within 10 minutes a professional came and resolve the problem quickly. Jim followed up with us after the first night to check in and see how we were all doing and asked if we needed anything. Overall, a fantastic property, a great host. We loved the Whimsy Whale cottage. It was exactly as described in the listing. The pictures were spot on. Angela was a fantastic host, always responsive to our questions and needs. We would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Robert’s home. We have stayed in many airbnbs and this was the cleanest home we have ever stayed in. It felt perfectly preserved in the nineties from our childhood. The backyard was great for our dog and our toddlers LOVED the nineties toys, books, and stuffed animals throughout the home. The kitchen had all we needed to cook. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location, surrounded by local restaurants, and a short walk to the beach!

We spent Thanksgiving at Topsail this year and rented Cheryl’s house to have extra space for our family in addition to our home next door. The kitchen was well equipped. We had everything we needed to fix our Thanksgiving meal! The house does not feel much like a rental, but more like staying at a family member’s home. We very much enjoyed our stay and the spectacular views of the sunset!

Beautiful and peaceful location with the soft sound of the waves. Very clean, neat and comfortable for rainy days inside.

Leslie Ann's place was perfect size for our family of four. We loved the space underneath the house, which was spacious and great for hanging out. The location was amazing being less than 5 minute walk to the beach and close to many restaurants and stores. We had a great stay and would happily stay here again.

This trip was a small weekend getaway to celebrate my birthday. The location of this Airbnb was great. Walkable to the beach and other shops as well. Hate that the weather was rainy like it was but I will definitely be back and book with Charles and Vicki again when I do! ☺️

The place was great. Felt very a spacious and private. The fenced in yard was very well maintained and great for our pups. Great, friendly people. We have stayed in Wilmington/Wrightsville many time and this location is great. While it’s not on the beach, it’s so close and lots of walkable dining. Super close to Airlie Gardens and the harbor for sunsets. Thanks for the stay!

Paula's house was absolutely perfect! The house is very clean and exactly as described. There was a minor issue ad we checked in, but was resolved within 30 minutes of contracting her, and she checked back later in the stay to make sure everything was OK. We would highly recommend this home! Thank you Paula!

We stayed a month in this air bnb while our condo was getting finished . Marla was very kind and always answered if we had a question. This was a great place to stay. our Grand daughter came for over night visit and we visited the park right down the street. We got to check out beautiful views at The marina. Marla place was so clean and pet friendly for our golden doodle. We were glad to find this place . I would refer anyone to stay at this nice cottage hosted by Marla she is a awesome host.

First time back to Oak Island in 15 years and it did not disappoint. Steven’s place was perfect for us. The location was amazing and the house itself was like being at home. We rented the golf cart and so glad we did. Our car stayed parked and we enjoyed riding around on the cart. We will definitely rent again!

We enjoyed our time in Wilmington and Jason's place was wonderful! The house was perfect, clean, & in a great location! We were able to walk to several restaurants and breweries. We will be back again soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time! It was extremely clean and you could tell that much thought went into every detail. If you are looking for quiet home with great outdoor space, walkable to the beach and a 20 minute drive to Southport…Mikes place is perfect. We had four kids with us, ages 1, 3, 4, 4 & and it was a perfect setup!

Beautiful beach cottage. We appreciate the thoughtful consideration of pets and family needs, with all the little touches and details that are often not found in a space that’s pet friendly. We immediately felt at home and relaxed. We frequently visited BHI a couple times a year during the off season, the island’s most quiet time. Thank you for sharing your special place with us! The East Beach/Cape Fear Station is our favorite location; close walking distance to the prettiest beach past quaint forested bungalows. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the golf cart-the nicest we have had access to so far.

The Cottage is a beautiful place to stay while visiting the Wrightsville Beach area. Kristi and Ian were very communicative and kept us posted of holiday events happening in the area during our stay. We found everything we needed in the kitchen to make a nice meal on Thanksgiving. It's a pretty short drive to the beach and just about a mile from Airlie Gardens. We would definitely recommend this spot to others!

This is the second time we have stayed at this Airbnb. It feels like our “second home” in NC when we go to visit our daughter. They provide all you need for a successful and stress-free stay. Thank you for sharing your house. We enjoyed our stay and will be back again next spring break.
