Second visit and it was just as nice as the first. We like this house inside and out. The pool and walking trail through the woods are great, and the living room is super comfy for family hanging out at night or on a rainy morning. Highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay at Henry House. The interior was cozy and well decorated - with so many extra touches. Our favorite activity was sitting on the lovely front porch, looking out at the spectacular landscaping and watching the world pass by on the quiet country road. We highly recommend this rental for a large party.

I reviewed the reunion house 2 years ago. (5 stars). I’m not sure where this review will populate as due to a maintenance issue it became unavailable days before our trip. Melissa upgraded our group to the mansion which was much larger than we reserved. Communication was excellent throughout. The mansion was accurately described , clean and was a nice upgrade. We very much appreciated that she took care of our group despite the difficulties with our reserved space. We’ve returned once and will gladly return again!

We had a great stay. This is a great house for multiple families - we were 3 families with small kids (6 kids under 6) and it was the perfect setup for us - great layout for all of us to spread out and not feel on top of each other. Our kids were obsessed with running the length of the house, and we had plenty of space to hang at night without waking up some of the lighter sleepers. We even put one baby in a pack n' play in the laundry room and it was perfect for her! (also two other babies were in closets -- two of the bedrooms have nice big ones!) Also, the kitchen was insanely well-stocked -- literally everything we could have possibly ever thought of needing or using to cook and serve our meals! We even had help with a car jump when one of our batteries died the first night. Great home, great location, we hope to come back in summer!

We had a wonderful week at Mathew and Greta's home. Perfect ski week. Beautiful views, light, and surroundings. The home was perfect for our group of 8 with two families sharing (one on the top floor and one on the bottom) gave each family privacy, a bathroom and space to get our stuff out of the common area. Fully stocked with anything that we needed. Thank you! I'd love to book again. :)

Joan’s house is beautiful and cozy, looks exactly like the pictures if not better. We are very happy for our stay here. Location of the house is great for our ski trip to Stratton, only 30 mins easy drive and it is close to the Manchester town. We didn’t have the opportunity to explore the shops and restaurants in the town this time, so we will definitely be back for another stay. Joan is a fantastic host. She’s very responsive to our questions, even left breakfast (egg/bacon/English muffin/butter/half&half) for our stay, and she’s very accommodating by allowing us left our luggage for a little longer after checking out.

This is a great spot to stay in Shaftesbury! Clean and well appointed.

What an adorable spot! Had everything I needed, was immaculately clean. Loved the river in the background and the fact that I was near town. Great spot to eat across the street (nice after a full day of driving around). Here's a weird thing that everyone might not appreciate, but there were plenty of electrical outlets! Unusual in an older home. And while it was in town on what would seem a major street, it was very quiet. I had the window open at night and it was very peaceful.

We stayed for a month in Karen's apartment in Shelburne Falls. The bedroom is enormous, with an extremely comfortable bed and great air conditioning for summer months. The living room is cozy, with a big-screen TV, lots of books, and a dining room table. There is a well-stocked kitchen for folks who want to cook at home. The house is also a ten minute walk to Shelburne Falls' serene downtown area, where there are a few great restaurants and coffee shops. It's also extremely close to a lot of good hiking trails. Karen herself is one of the best hosts that we've stayed with. She took the initiative to check in on us throughout the trip, and met us ahead of time to talk about expectations. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a lovely stay. Our expectations from the listing description matched our experience pretty well. Liz and family were super friendly and good hosts. Our dogs had fun playing together. We wish we'd checked on the sauna earlier because it was a quick fix to get it up and running but we didn't realize we'd need help from the hosts until it was too late. Kitchen is functional but nothing fancy so we're glad we cooked a simple meal.

This was my first Airbnb experience. From the very beginning, John and Kathy were excellent hosts. They come across as just genuine and likeable people - it really feels like you’re staying with friends. Not to mention, they are SO kind in opening up their entire (gorgeous) home and property to you. They make it clear that while you’re there you have free range to explore the grounds or utilize the fun on-site things such as the fire pit and relaxing common areas. The breakfast served each morning was so thoughtful and delicious; my husband and I really felt like we were being spoiled!! Speaking of spoiled, idk how I’ll ever be able to have a better Airbnb experience than John and Kathy provided as they really set the bar high. Looking forward to booking our next visit here for sure.

Caitlin and her husband, Peter, are caring, considerate hosts. They made me feel welcome in their beautifully appointed, light-filled home. They were open and friendly, interested in finding out who I was, while being respectful of my privacy. When I explained I didn't like to eat first thing in the morning, they went out of their way to prepare a yummy, healthy "to-go" breakfast I could take with me to the program I was attending. Caitlin even loaned me her favorite travel coffee mug for my tea. I was able to spend my final morning having breakfast with them and they prepared a delightful meal, replete with fresh fruits and flowers from their garden. We sat outside amongst the beautiful plantings and each shared with me a precious piece of their own life story as well as how they met. That's how I discovered what wonderful people they are. I would return there in a heartbeat. Staying at the Sanctuary provided a welcome contrast from the intensity of the program I was attending.

The Wilmington Inn is always a favorite place to stay! It's always quiet and so convenient to restaurants and the shops--we'll be back!

We had a really enjoyable stay with Ernie and Eric! Ernie made us a delicious breakfast every day and made us feel right at home. The bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was a nice addition! Highly recommend staying here.

This is an idyllic setting for a beautiful home with super friendly and caring hosts. The large house, a retreat center with facilities for large groups, sits on a lake overlooked by a gorgeous modern treehouse. Tom and Ravi are excellent hosts and I enjoyed chatting and eating with them and learning about their vision for the property, communal and artistic, with nourishing food fresh from local farms, and a mix of interesting guests. This is the kind of place where you can truly unwind in natural green, wander the extensive grounds and connect socially if that suits you. The beds are comfortable, each room with its own bathroom, and the living rooms are spacious and with walls of books and artwork. Cannot recommend this place more highly. If you’re lucky enough to find availability, don’t hesitate!

My boyfriend and I spent two wonderful nights in Cider House 1. We had a fabulous time. Peaceful and relaxing with beautiful fireplace.

This is a very comfortable and pleasant B&B in a well-preserved and beautiful old house--they had a little guide to the history in each room. The beds are very comfortable to sleep in and the temperature in the rooms is nice and warm. Breakfast was delicious. The best thing about it was the hosts: they are very friendly and attentive. You get the impression they really like their guests and enjoy sharing their beautiful home. This place is an absolute gem.

We came to Vermont to look at the beautiful fall colors and for a Vermont experience. Staying in a stately house that originates from the 1700’s gave us both. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The downstairs sitting area is elegant with plenty of room to spread out read like a country squire. Mary makes an excellent breakfast and is accommodating about when and what to eat. Be sure to try the apple pancakes. Manchester with all its fine restaurants is 15 minutes away. Otherwise, the Wayside Country store is right down the road. The view out the back of the house is outstanding. We highly recommend this house for a Vermont getaway.
