We stayed here for a weekend while visiting our daughter at Fairfield University. The location was perfect! The house was beautiful- it reminded me of a modernized cottage. Everything was spotless - made you feel instantly at home! We will absolutely be back! We tried for upcoming parents weekend in October 2025 and she's already sold out!! Definitely book - you won't be disappointed!

Lori was an amazing host. She coordinated with me on everything prior to checking in. I explained that I would be using her home for a small surprise birthday party and she even offered to do some decorations or help out any way she could. Way above and beyond her responsibilities as a host. On top of that she set up a fire pit with firewood and even left a s’mores kit for us. The most amazing thing was she left a birthday card and gift for my girlfriend. It was completely unexpected and we were so appreciative. The home was very clean, cozy, and had everything that we were looking for.

Ritestay was a great place. We didn’t spend much time there because we were there to see our daughter. Would be perfect in the summer!!

The location of this property is excellent, the layout of the house is reasonable, and it is spacious and comfortable. I really enjoyed this trip and will choose to stay here again.

Paula’s place was beautiful! We loved the quick responses, great communication, and easy check in. The winters views of the lake were great and the restaurant recommendations were a great touch. Highly recommend and would love to come back in the summer time!

Whitney and Mark were fantastic hosts! Their home was absolutely stunning, especially with the beautiful holiday decorations. It was the perfect setting for our New Year's trip with friends and family. We especially appreciated the many local recommendations they provided - they helped us discover some hidden gems in the area. We highly recommend staying at their place!

I had a great stay here and the place felt like home immediately. There was a lot of space for my dog to run around as well. Everything was very clean and organized. There was noise through the apartment as per previous reviews as there are other people living throughout the house, but it is something I did not mind at all, especially since I had my dog with me.

This was our second time back to the pool house and it was amazing, again. We thinks of everything to make you feel welcome. Milk and eggs in the fridge. Muffins and croissants waiting for you. Pristine home. Fully stocked kitchen. I was even able to host a few family members for Christmas dinner and had everything I needed to make a lovely dinner. We also travel with two dogs and Sue is so accommodating, making our pups feel right at home. Thank you, Sue, for making our holidays away from home so peaceful and enjoyable.

Beautiful home, exactly how it was described and looked even better in person. Incredible surrounding areas and activities. Steven was helpful throughout the stay and incredibly flexible. Wonderful host! Will definitely be planning a yearly visit.

We stayed at the Zen House last year and were delighted to repeat the experience. And will do so again on the next trip to Stamford.

The place was much bigger than the photos and we enjoyed the stay! especially the indoor fireplace and the house is beautifully decorated. Blake was a great host, she did a quick tour of the place when we arrived and gave us some flexible check out time because of the weather/road condition (thank you!) even though we left just before the check out time. Overall, it was a wonderful stay :)

The host Joanna was very responsive with communication. The house was big and clean (I am extremely picky with cleanliness). We stayed there for parents weekend at Fairfield University which was about a 25minute drive to the senior beach houses which wasn't terrible. For those Sacred Heart University families it is super close to their campus. The house is in a quiet, safe, family community. Overall, we were very happy!

We had a great stay with our 1 year old and two dogs while looking for homes in the area. The hosts have very detailed instructions and local recommendations and were happy to message about more tailored recommendations as well. I had inquired about a later checkout because of our daughter’s nap schedule and the hosts were flexible and accommodating. Everything is very thoughtful in their home, and we especially appreciated the comfortable beds, linens, bath products and (life changing?) Toto toilets! We visited in the dead of winter, and I’m sure it’s even more beautiful when it’s warmer and greener. One note if you have littles or new walkers - there are a couple of concrete steps in the living spaces on the first floor, so we had to keep a very close eye on our 1 year old. Not a ding at all, just a note if you’re booking with little ones.

Thank you for being the official host of Santa and Mrs Claus this holiday season! They really enjoyed their stay! Robert was a great, friendly host—super helpful and accommodating, especially with getting Santa checked in. This was the perfect stay. I felt at home and the grounds are beautiful. The location is a perfect getaway but close to a lovely small town. The owners are great, kind, and so thoughtful. I appreciate them and everything they've done to make my stay better. It was a last minute holiday getaway and I'm so grateful they saved the day. Thank you so much! The place was very clean and cozy and warm. We had such a lovely stay watching the snow fall outside. The kitchen was great for cooking. Saverio was so kind and helpful when our car got stuck in the snow. Would definitely come back!

We were in my husband’s hometown visiting family for the holidays and the entire experience was perfect. The location, the amenities, the homey charm. We’ll definitely be back!

Stayed here for about a month and felt right at home with spacious rooms and lots of amenities provided, being 20 degrees in winter the apartment stood very warm and clean and it was a wonderful place to call home for 30 days. Kisha was very helpful and responsive when I needed to communicate and she’s very kind. If I’m ever near the area in the near future I would definitely book here again no hesitation! Thank you!

Cameron was a fantastic host of an even more incredible property! My girlfriend and I were looking for a nice weekend getaway, and this place was exactly what we needed. The town and surrounding area were very cute and had everything we needed with additional options nearby. The nearby state park / beaches / marshes were great activity, including a walk out to the Silver Sands island! Cameron provided everything we needed, was extremely responsive and welcoming, and overall made our stay perfectly worth it. We would love to come back someday and highly recommend this place! Nice place located in a beautiful secluded house in a safe neighborhood. Gorgeous property. Our dogs were allowed and they were very comfortable. The amenities were exactly as described. Extremely clean and well maintained. The place was easy to locate and easy to access. It is convenient to many local stores and restaurants. Great, responsive hosts!
