Ann is an amazing host, super responsive and she provided clear instructions for check-in, check-out and even has created a local guide. The property is very well equipped with everything you need, even things you might have forgotten to bring. The house has character and is a bit quirky, given the historical nature, but all bathrooms are modern, there are Alexas everywhere downstairs and the sun room is beautiful. The AGA stove needs some getting used to, but there is a normal stove top as well and instructions are provided. The sunroom is lush and the hot tub was amazing! We didn’t use the pool (out of season). All together: great find, great property and Ann is kind and responsive! 10/10 would recommend!

We had a perfect stay. The hosts are very accommodating and help you with everything you need. The place itself was stunning, all features were really well thought out from the fireplace to all the lights and amenities. The hosts left us some lovely treats and also the essentials for cooking. The place was clean and smelled stunning and had a lovely ambience. One suggestion would be to upgrade the TV so guests can watch Netflix etc. Thanks.

Do not hesitate to book here. We had a lovely stay. Truly enjoyed the beautiful garden and charming thatched cottage. Susan is fabulous and very hospitable. Our daughter loved the large garden, trampoline and paddle pool. We loved dining al fresco and ending the evening in the cosy snug. Great shower and beds. A well stocked Co op just minutes away added to the convenience of staying in a rural location. Such a wonderful week. Thank you Susan!

We had a lovely stay for Christmas week. The cottage provided everything we needed to cater for our stay (x6 adults) and the location was perfect. Only 10 minutes from the M4 but we felt we were in the middle of the countryside (wild hares and pheasants spotted across the fields). A fair walk to the nearest pub (about 40 minutes); only 9 minutes drive to Hungerford - handy to collect our Christmas Eve curry. We liked the John O’Gaunt pub there too. We’d recommend this cottage and would stay again

Lovely stay at Lynn’s barn. Beautiful village setting. The barn was perfect for a weekend away.

Mei was really friendly and accommodating to my strict dietary requirements which was very much appreciated. Beautiful place and good location too.

The house was absolutely perfect for our weekend. 10 mins walk to all the amenities of the city centre, but a really quiet and peaceful area. We were a group of 5 adults, and had lots of space. Comfy beds, nice living area to hang out, clean and tidy kitchen, and great having 2 bathrooms. Would definitely recommend this place.

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we have ever had. Phillipa is a wonderful host. The essentials she left in for breakfast were extremely thoughtful/over and above. The cottage is an absolute gem. There were amazing amenities for our kids (2) & (4) such as a travel cot, changing mat, high chairs and so many toys that they absolutely adored. Cannot recommend this place high enough. 5/5

A wonderful little retreat, located in a lovely quiet spot at the end of a garden. Totally private you can come and go as you please. It’s 2 miles nice walk downhill to Bath town centre alternatively there is a regular bus service from a 5 min walk away, useful on the return up the hill. The flat was spotless! Eating out is not an option for us because of dietary restrictions. The kitchen was well equipped for all our needs. There was no oven but the hosts provided us with a worktop one that worked perfectly. There was also a selection of breakfast items supplied, and some special bits for the dietary needs which was lovely. The area is quiet and not by any busy roads. There is parking next to the flat, so all easy. Hils and Dave were quick to respond to any messages and really helpful. We didn’t get to meet them which was a shame because they sounded lovely in their messages. In summary, a wonderful relaxing week stay in The Garden Flat and, we would be more than happy to return.

Amazing location. Really lovely apartment perfect for what we needed. The little touches of milk in the fridge and mini bottles of Prosecco was lovely. Thank you.

This is the second time we have stayed in this flat. It is near to relatives in Bath and easily walkable to the centre of Bath. We cannot fault the property - it’s very comfortable, extremely clean and well stocked with breakfast items and toiletries. We will be booking again for next year! Both Robert and James are very quick to respond. 5 stars +!

Pig Sty Cottage was absolutely perfect! A rural retreat in beautiful grounds. We enjoyed complete privacy whilst knowing that Steve and Lizzie were easily contactable. The cottage was as described, bright with everything we needed and more. Perfect responsive hosts accommodating a very late check-in due to fog and travel conditions. We highly recommend the Pig Sty! If we were to visit this part of the country again we would definately re-book! We absolutely loved it!

I’ve stayed in over 100 Airbnbs around the world and this might be my favorite. Perfect in every way - comfort, decor, amenities, and the best location in town. Most of all, Eric and Mel are lovely, interesting and attentive hosts, making the whole experience an absolute pleasure every time. 10 out of 10, couldn’t possibly recommend more!

Mamy thanks John for such a lovely property to stay in. The parking was a massive bonus. We could walk into town within 10 minutes with all the wonderful attractions nearby. We really appreciated you letting us leave our car in your parking area while we did some final shopping etc. We loved our stay at the Appartment and will definitely stay with you again. We’ve just left Chris’s place after staying an extra night more than we planned. The location is stunning and so peaceful. The enclosed garden was a godsend as we took our dog Keira. The room itself was beautifully presented, with everything we needed. There was even some bread, butter, milk and cereal to welcome us, which was great as we didn’t arrive until around 8pm so we knew we’d be good for breakfast. We were greeted in the morning by numerous friendly dogs and the horses in the field were a lovely sight. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

Staying at Petra and Dick’s home has been a great pleasure. Their home is really a nice place to be at. They have a lovely bright sitting room overlooking their garden full of plants. Conversation around that table has been delightful. Both Petra and Dick were always ready to help. They even offered me a lift to the center on my last day there. I highly recommend it!

I had the most relaxing and peaceful stay at the shepherds hut. Helen went over and above to make me feel welcome and comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay again. Beautiful place, very warm and cosy, gorgeous outlook and well situated

Diana was a lovely host, very welcoming. Room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was an additional treat!

The Bothy is an incredible find in the Wiltshire countryside. The room was lovely, the host put the heating on before we arrived and left tea and coffee plus fruit for the next morning. The view is incredible and we rested really well. Tranquility and a lovely home! The breakfasts were amazing and the communication with the host perfect. We will visit again! Great location, great say and 5* review. Thank you!

I loved my time with Lucinda and Juno the dog. The room was perfect, with my own door from the outside, en-suite bathroom and the most comfortable bed ever. The breakfasts were delicious and it's walking/biking distance to Marlborough town centre and Savernake Forest, which I was able to explore (and loved). Would definitely recommend that people stay here!

The Cabin we stayed in was very comfortable and had all the basic necessities covered with a shower and a small kitchen area with breakfast bits provided. The location was wonderful in the heart of Salisbury but so quiet in the shadow of the cathedral. Jane is a very attentive host and made us very welcome. Definitely recommended and would gladly stay again.

My teenage son and I had a wonderful stay in Yvonne's loft room. Our host gave us an extremely warm welcome plus helpful directions into town. The loft room was light, airy and very clean and homely. Yvonne showed us where to find an extra heater, blankets and hot water bottles if we needed them, but we were quite warm enough. There were tea and coffee facilities provided as well good quality toiletries in the wet room, where the shower worked very well. Yvonne had also provided books and magazines. The double and sofa bed were both very comfortable and the feather/ down duvets and pillows made for a good night's sleep. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast. We would highly recommend.
