Truly wonderful stay - my parents and daughter travelled from Australia to spend Christmas with me and we decided to go to the Cotswolds (along with my dog). I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Tracey’s home had everything we needed, set amongst a beautiful, tranquil surrounding nestled on the lake. Picturesque views and relaxing surroundings. The house itself is beautifully presented - lots of lovely little touches and thoughtful additions. It was so easy to get around from the house to all different parts of the Cotswolds - perfect place to come back to after a days worth of outings. Nice hot shower and comfy couch and amenities. Restaurants and pubs close by within an easy four to six minute drive - dogs welcome! Thank you for a wonderful stay. It truly made our Christmas.

Great place for a weekend retreat, very peaceful with amazing views. An afternoon in the hot tub overlooking the water is just what you need after a week of work.

We had a fantastic stay at Nicola’s house, which was perfect for three families coming together. The on-site pool was a great addition, and the Ballihoo restaurant was both welcoming and convenient ideal for everything from a morning coffee to an evening meal. The house was spotlessly clean, with three excellent bathrooms plus a downstairs toilet, making it ideal for a group stay. We would love to return in the summer to fully enjoy the surroundings, but even in the colder months, the cosy wood fire made it a wonderful retreat.

We had a wonderful time. The place is lovely and much nicer and bigger than the photos in my opinion. The host was really responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a trip with friends or family. Kitchen has more than enough glasses/pots/pans etc which was really helpful when cooking a meal for 6. Lovely space and I will be back :-)

Booked this accommodation for a family wedding near Cirencester. We thought it looked great on the listing but it looks even better when you arrive. The surroundings are beautiful. The lodge itself was extremely clean with all the facilities you could need at a very reasonable price. We only stayed for 2 nights but wished we could have been there for longer. Lovely place right on the water. Looks better than the photos. Had everything we needed in a great location with access to pool and with onsite restaurant and little shop. Perfect for a get away would come again

Beautiful place to stay, very helpful information folder of the area. You could walk or drive to restaurants/bar. If the weather had been better we would have explored the lakes more. But we got out and about . Very clean and tidy place and everything inside that you could possibly want. We would definitely stay again . Thanks Frannie x

The property has beautiful views over the lake and we could see loads of different water birds. The view was even better than the photos suggested. The property was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped and has an excellent coffee machine. This would be perfect for an extended family group or 2 families sharing. There was lots of storage and places for shoes and coats. The onsite restaurant Balihoo was excellent especially if you are coeliac. There was also a pizza shack that my kids said was great. Clare was a proactive host and the property is run by Orion holidays who sent plenty of communication and information. We will definitely visit again.

Lovely tractor house to stay in. Has all the things you’d expect in a studio flat. Not very accessible if you don’t have a car fyi (not a fault of the place at all) but otherwise lovely.

We booked this place for my dad while he was moving house, so it needed to be on the ground floor, easy to access and a good location. It was all these things, and Katherine was a great host. We had an issue with the internet half way through the stay which meant that he had no internet connection at all, this was a problem with the provider that was not able to be resolved despite her many attempts. In every other respect Katherine was a great host and the house was very tidy and comfortable.

We had a fantastic weekend stay! This place is exactly as the description suggests and allowed us to relax immediately. Lovely places to walk and eat in the surrounding area too! Thank you!

The apartment was very comfortable and spacious. We really enjoyed having meals on the balcony overlooking the lake and made good use of the onsite facilities like the spa and restaurant. Jane was great at answering our questions and making sure we had no issues.

Lovely apartment, very comfortable, we had a very relaxing stay with my parents and children. Great walking routes and we enjoyed birdwatching from the balcony! Would recommend you bring food with you as the onsite shop is quite specialist and it’s a 20-min round trip to get to the local shops. To this end, it would be nice if there were a pint of milk in the fridge to make a cuppa on arrival 🙂 Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great stay at Benji's place. Big and comfortable and matched the description. Thorough and detailed check-in instructions (it's down a side road so needs the instructions). Really convenient location for town/restaurants/shops etc. A thoroughly lovely stay

Hazel's beautiful, secluded cottage is everything you need for the perfect peaceful getaway. Set in a gorgeous wood, filled with wildlife and a fun filled treehouse and zipwire and the tranquil lake, this cottage has it all. The location makes it perfect to feel away from it all but with some lovely villages and Salisbury close by as well as being close to the spectacular new forest. Check in was easy and Hazel added some extra little touches that made myself and my boys feel right at home as soon as we stepped through the door. We will definitely be returning for another visit.

Sarah’s place is in lovely surroundings looking out over one of the lakes. We had a lovely relaxing stay and Sarah responded very quickly to our questions. The local brasserie is really reasonable and very nice food. Would recommend!

We had a fantastic time and Stacey was very helpful in recommending a local firm to supply us with a kayak and Paddleboard, the kids really enjoyed it Would definitely recommend and will be returning

Janey was the perfect host. We arrived a little early and she very flexibly let us check-in, despite having to prepare everything herself as her cleaner was not available. We also arrived a little unprepared and on a Sunday but Janey had left all the essentials we needed to tide us over including a delicious homemade cake, croissants for breakfast the following morning, milk, butter and eggs. The setting is lovely overlooking a very large pond with a lot of visiting geese and ducks. There are little boats and life jackets for children. This is an ideal spot for a family holiday with the fossil beach at Kerridge Bay only an hour away by car and a number of lovely walks on Iron Age hill forts very close by, as well as lovely villages and National Trust properties. We would highly recommend Janey's property for a relaxing, comfortable and homely holiday. I am sure we will be back.

What an amazing find. We have just returned from a fabulous stay with our children, at Chris and Alexandra’s gorgeous cottage - the photos don’t do it justice. So much to do and the most stunning views - there really is something for everyone. We didn’t want to leave. Chris and Alexandra were excellent hosts - helpful, friendly and responsive. We definitely will be returning.

We loved the cottage and Lower Mill estate so much that we stayed an extra night. The cottage was lovely with comfy beds, warm and cosy living area and bonus garden that was enclosed so our dog could be let off the lead. There is so much to do from the door step such as long walks round the estate, nature reserve and to local pubs, tennis and swimming on site. Lovely restaurant and bar. We will definitely come again and will look to stay here

Jason was the perfect host. Great communication and the house was just great with all the touches of making sure our stay was as perfect as possible. It’s such a great base for being able to enjoy the surroundings. Our kids had the best time being able to use the estates facilities all as part of our stay at the cottage. Would definitely recommend.

My Wife and I stayed at Jackie’s place with our daughter and 2 year old grandson. The accommodation is very pleasant, well equipped, and met all of our needs. The setting right on the lake is wonderful. This was our first visit to Lower Mill Estate and we enjoyed making use of the facilities. Jackie is a great host and was very responsive with her communications. Would definitely recommend.
