We spent a lovely Christmas here as a family of four with our dog pepper. Lovely decor, amenities, kitchen full of everything you need, lots of games for us to play. Great location, lots of fab dog walks, great shops nearby - overall a fantastic stay!

My girls and Paula described the house as 'cute, cosy and homely' and 'excellent'. They had a great time staying there. Thanks for the flexibility too Jamie and Miles.

Great lodge, very clean and homely. The host was very responsive and had left easy to read instructions. Our children loved the surrounding woodlands and was a great central location to visit local attractions. Highly recommend and would definitely return when the other areas of the park open (as they are closed until April)

This was our second stay at Sarah’s place and it was perfect for what we needed. The house is lovely and clean. Parking nearby is easy. The local pub serves the most delicious pizzas! Thank you Sarah

This home was stunning. a beautiful haven within walking distance to the town centre and Gold Hill however very peaceful and private. the conservatory was a beautiful place to sit and play games of an afternoon/evening and Sarah's home provides all amenities one would need. I loved the little touches.

I stayed at Chris’s for a weekend with my husband, son and dog and had a great time. Chris was super helpful from the time we booked and provided lots of helpful recommendations so I could book restaurants etc in advance. The house was warm and cosy we when arrived, with supplies in the fridge waiting for us which was a lovely touch as we arrived late at night. Everything was spotlessly clean and the house is well equipped with all you need for your stay. Chris let us have a slightly later checkout on our last day which was great as we had a little lie in after my husband’s birthday. We had our car so there was no issue in getting around but am not sure how easy that would be on public transport. It was a very quick drive into Bath though. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Beautifully appointed cosy space. Immaculately clean and fresh. Lots of lovely little touches; croissants, real butter, a cupboard full of cereals & plenty of tea & coffee & that includes proper. ground coffee! Super comfy beds with lovely, snuggly duvets with extra blankets, if required. They weren't needed as it was nice & toasty. Great bathroom with walk in shower. Only wished I could have stayed longer! Thank you Andy & Debs for your kind hospitality, it was a very last minute booking, but you were both very accommodating. Will definitely be back!

Ann is an amazing host, super responsive and she provided clear instructions for check-in, check-out and even has created a local guide. The property is very well equipped with everything you need, even things you might have forgotten to bring. The house has character and is a bit quirky, given the historical nature, but all bathrooms are modern, there are Alexas everywhere downstairs and the sun room is beautiful. The AGA stove needs some getting used to, but there is a normal stove top as well and instructions are provided. The sunroom is lush and the hot tub was amazing! We didn’t use the pool (out of season). All together: great find, great property and Ann is kind and responsive! 10/10 would recommend!

Nous avons apprécié l’intimité du lieu, apprécié la piscine après avoir découvert Bristol, Bath, Lacock, Castlecombe sous un soleil magnifique ! Les propriétaires sont très discrets et toujours disponibles si besoin . Le cri des mouettes, des palombes amoureuses, les moutons trop mignons et la prairie de fleurs 🌸❤️. Faites la balade à pied jusqu’à Lacock c’est un vrai bonheur. Que du positif merci encore aux propriétaires !

Lovely peaceful cottage with all the amenities you could need. Very relaxing. Sitting out on the balcony with views of the lake was the perfect switch off needed. Beds are super comfy and the kitchen has everything you could need. Small gestures like supplying shampoo, hairdryers etc helps the ease of packing. Nice touches with the board games too. Communication with Chris and Alexandra was effective and fast. Very friendly. The estate this is on makes this place suitable for families as well as couples. We used the outdoor pool, tennis courts, football pitch and sat in the resturant for a coffee but the beauty of this place is the cottage is tucked away from it all so if you want to switch off from it all you can. We took a 40 minute walk into Ashton Keynes following the Thames trail. Very easy to find and follow. Thank you Chris and Alexandra. We will be recommending to others.

Excellent instructions to find the property. House was clean and comfortable. There was sufficient plates, cups, glasses, etc for the number of people stating in the house, plus a large pan for cooking. The children who were part of the group appreciated the toys on the property. The park was quiet and well maintained. We would definitely consider staying here again for a family get together

I booked this 3 night stay to spend time with my family and our two Labradors for my 50th birthday. Victoria had ensured my 50 was well advertised and I felt very special with a lovely message and welcome pack. I really couldn’t ask for anywhere better!!!! The house had everything provided. Our water babies (dogs) made amazing lake walks very special. The swimming pool and facilities were lovely and clean and warm. We were extremely lucky to have sunny days for February and throughly enjoyed chilling out and making the best of the sunny front patio area watching the wildlife and taking in the peace and beauty ❤️ and thank you Victoria for your fabulous communication x

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the tranquility of the place. Hilary was a great host, she greeted us when we arrived and we really enjoyed the handmade flapjacks. We were not brave enough to go in the pool (February) but it looked beautiful. The house was comfortable and had all that we needed. Really enjoyed sitting in the kitchen looking outside and seeing the deer.

A real gem. So nice and relaxing for a few days away. Richard and Penny were great hosts from welcoming us and local information, to being available for any queries you might have. We Ubered to Bath and back for day trip and wasn’t too expensive either. Best advice is to switch off your tech, listen to the wildlife and take a stroll around.

Beautiful annexe studio. Stunning decor throughout ! Fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Lovely touches for our little pooch too. Beautiful flowers and welcome card on arrival and fairy likes were switched on to welcome us ! Milk, croissants and treats all included. Just a wonderful experience all round. I purchased this stay for my in-laws as their Christmas present and they absolutely loved it! Barbara was so helpful throughout the whole process and so kind in letting my in-laws check in early and leave a bit later on their check out date. Would highly recommend☺️

We stayed at Tabitha’s over a weekend whilst visiting family locally. It was ideal for what we needed. The property is very clean and provides everything you’d need. The decor and furniture is a little tired but this doesn’t have any negative impact. We aren’t vegan but it wasn’t a problem for us as we weren’t in the property much at all and were very happy to use alternative milks etc.

Perfect place for a little sojourn to Bath. Easy walk in to town with quirky shops nearby. Incredibly peaceful and Margaret was welcoming and helpful. Lovely little table and chairs to sit on the patio with our morning coffee. Worked well for us as a couple plus one child.

The cottage is gorgeous and Virginie ensured we had everything we needed for a luxurious and cosy stay. The garden is perfect for a dog, and there are lots of lovely walks on the doorstep!

Beautiful and spotless lodge, friendly and helpful host, great loocation (we were visiting Paultons Park). You really can't ask for more and we will certainly be back!

Very well-maintained property with an extremely responsive and friendly host. The property is impeccable, with self-contained garden area a godsend for anyone with a dog. Will definitely stay there again when next in the area.

Really lovely little place to stay, I was only there one night for work but was clean, great amenities and lovely location! Jo was very responsive and friendly in her messages, would recommend for those who need to stay in the area.
