I had a lovely few nights at Franks place, great hosts. A cosy shepherds hut with all the amenities you need readily accessible in a peaceful location. I had a lovely time looking at the stars from the deck outside with the fire going to keep warm. Breakfast was amazing, croissant with jams, fruit and yoghurt bought to the hut, with everything you needed to make a tea or coffee already there. Would definitely stay again if passing through the area.

We didn't want to return home as we had had the perfect stay. This lovely little shepherd's hut surrounded by beautiful farmlands, was just what we'd hoped for and it didn't disappoint! Our hosts Peter and Rachel, were very responsive to our needs, although, gave us our privacy and let us explore the surrounding areas. The hut had lots of little touches to it that made it feel homely and cute, although, functional and great use of a small space. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the hut had heating, wifi and a range of options on the tv after a tiring day of adventures! Excellent stay, would absolutely return, thank you! What a fantastic oasis of tranquility to visit. Terry and Jenny are excellent hosts and could not do more for you. The huts were all styled beautifully and were spotlessly clean. The attention to detail is fantastic and Jenny has thought of everything. Sitting by the firepit at night, with a glass in hand listening to the owls was priceless. Florence, Hector and the dogs were just an added bonus. We will definitely return.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Our dogs absolutely loved the space and it was perfect for them to really stretch their legs. The cabin was super cozy, we stayed during a bit of a temperature drop so it was around -3 at night but the log burner was so warm we didn't even need a jumper on! Along with the temperature drop came some snow and we actually ended up getting stuck on the hill on toward the entrance but Mark answered his phone immediately and rushed down in his Land Rover to give us a tow up and nothing was too much to ask, we felt super accommodated. Thanks again :)

Serena, Dave and their family made our stay in the Cotswolds amazing! They were perfect hosts, really making us feel at home and providing amazing recommendations for our time there. The hut was cosy and well worth the visit. You have everything you could need and the added enjoyment of doggos, nature and art. We loved every minute. Exploring the local area as well as staying close by to try the cakes at the tearoom. We enjoyed our little escape to the countryside and cannot wait to visit again.

Had a fantastic one-night stay in the wagon. There are some little quirks with the numerous power switches, heating by wood stove, and the boat toilet, but it all adds to the charm and Amanda does a great job laying out all the details and instructions. We had a fairly cold night but the woodburner had us opening the window :) Great location that's walkable to a small village (Colerne) and an upscale hotel with restaurants if needed. Would highly recommend for a night away from everything.

The Rumple Hut was perfect. Comfortable bed, very clean, and had everything you need for a short break away. Lovely quiet area. The hot tub was great too and perfect for star gazing! The extra fresh bread, scones and gin were a lovely surprise treat too!

We had such a lovely stay in this charming Shepherd’s hut! Tucked away in the peaceful countryside, it was the perfect little escape, quiet, private, and beautifully done. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and we instantly felt relaxed. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy some quiet time in nature!

Perfect location for visiting the Cotswolds and surrounding areas. Loved how cosy the Shepards hut felt! Great pub recommendation (The Potting Shed) that was walkable with great food and drinks. Will definitely be returning and thoroughly recommend to our family and friends ☺️

We stayed here for valentines and it was very cosy and the hot tub was great, Duncan and Julie were very friendly and helpful, will definitely be back in the summer months

Had the most wonderful stay at Mark and Carrie’s Shepherd’s Hut for my partner’s birthday - it was so special. The Hut and the surroundings are beautiful - right on the river with lots of wildlife! We had such a lovely meal in the pub (best oyster of my life) and Mark and Carrie made us feel so welcome. Gorgeous breakfast basket in the morning as well. Can’t wait to come back!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Fiona’s Shepherds Hut. It was decorated and finished to a high standard, very comfortable and actually feels bigger inside than expected! The log fire was great (although it gets very hot very quickly, probably our fault and put one too many logs on, we actually had to open a window at one point!). Fiona was very responsive to our questions and queries, including when the solar power went off due to the poor weather. (The farm shop directly over the road also do an incredible breakfast!) Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and is an ideal base for a quiet weekend away. Thank you Fiona!

We had a wonderful time and we couldn’t fault the attention to detail to make the stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The place is cosy but spacious enough for a small family or group of friends. Cath was a great host and provided clear and timely communication, ensuring a smooth check-in process; she even came to say hello when we arrived. She also left us some provisions and a bottle of fizz in the fridge; the place is beautifully decorated, there are plenty of utensils in the kitchen, condiments, crockery/glassware and bedrooms are cosy, comfy and warm; it is very clean and tidy. It was lovely sitting outside by the log burner in such peaceful surroundings. We'd definitely love to come back and stay longer. x

We had an amazing time staying in Emily's shepherds hut. The hut itself was beautiful inside and really cosy but still plenty spacious enough for two people. The swan pub was a great recommendation for food and drink and was only a 20 second walk away, perfect for stumbling back to the comfy bed in the hut after a few.

fantastic stay, Rebecca gave really clear instructions on how to find her, arranged parking permits for our stay and was very responsive to our questions. well stocked kitchen with everything we needed, including milk and crumpets in the fridge, and tea and coffee, both the bed and sofa bed were very comfy and the shower had great water pressure. would definitely recommend staying here and would absolutely stay again when I'm visitng Bath

What a beautiful stay we had at the luxury shepherds hut. Everything was so carefully thought out- from the rose petals on the bed to all the finishes around the hut. The hut was well heated and had everything we needed. Went to a day trip to Frome which we really recommend. Charlotte is a friendly and responsive host.

Bertie’s Hut - wow! We had a really special night away, the surroundings are so peaceful, and quiet. Bex greeted us upon arrival and she was so friendly and welcoming - thank you 😊 The added extra of Bertie visiting us every now and then was really lovely, she is the cutest! Bex has thought of everything, even down to oat milk provided (I was a little too excited about this!), but an appreciated small touch. Bex also provided a fantastic recommendation for water sports on the lake about a 15 min drive away from the property, which we visited the next day! Thanks Bex and Co (& Bertie!) for a wonderful stay, we’ll definitely be back 😊 xx

We had a wonderful stay at Angela’s. A luxurious and romantic cabin with everything we could’ve needed. ‘Holly’ has a super comfy bed and we loved the wood fired hot tub, log burner and wildlife on the doorstep. Watching the stars at night from the hot tub was magical! We would definitely come again and recommend to our friends. Angela was really helpful and friendly and she has done a fab job with the cabin and fitting everything in to the space in a clever and stylish way. Thank you for an amazing and memorable weekend. A lovely place to stay and within walking distance to Lacock! Could not fault anything, and the extras (hamper, milk, bread, eggs, butter, cold water and wine!!) were what made it extra special! I’ll definitely be back!!!!

Great communication with Sharon from my first enquiry.. the grounds where the Shepherds hut is located are stunning with wild life on your door step… The hut is beautifully equipped and presented and can not be faulted! We would stay again for sure.
