fantastic peaceful place to stay. Jean was lively and gave me plenty of information before I arrived and popped into see me to make sure all was ok, which I thought was a very nice touch. the chalet was spotless and had everything I needed for the weekend. Will defo stay again.

I booked based on previous reviews and was not disappointed. The cottage is lovely and has everything you could need for a perfect stay. I was able to park directly outside the cottage with no concerns. Rutland Water is gorgeous and I really enjoyed walking round the reservoir. I also drove to Seaton and found a great view of the very impressive viaduct. I didn’t meet Marie or Ben but Marie was in contact throughout my visit to make sure I had everything I needed. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely property.

Absolutely loved stopping at amys place it was home from home as soon as we walked through the door it felt like home lots of personal touches an absolutely spotless loved the ducks that were on the lane everyday and thismorning was greated with 17 ducklings the garden was lovely and a lovely seating area couldn't of asked for anything else even the dogs settled in the neighbours were lovely and helped with directions lol defo wouldn't hesitate to go back when we next travel that way keep doing what ur doing amy its priceless

A lovely warm welcome and accommodation that delivered everything promised. Peaceful remote location perfect for relaxing with added bonus of a great hot tub and sauna to add to the experience. Lots of information shared before arrival regarding the surrounding area, places to visit, eat etc. which was much appreciated.

Such a beautiful house which looked even better in person. Katy greeted us upon arrival which was a lovely touch & was very responsive throughout our stay. The house is furnished beautifully & is in a great location with Newmarket high street less than 10mins away. We also went into Cambridge which was only a 25min drive. We would love to return, thank you!

Had a relaxing time at the cottage. The house was lovely and comfortable with lots of little homely touches, the dogs also enjoyed themselves as we were only a short walk from the beach, town was very close also so we could pop in for coffee and a bite to eat. Great location, Claire and Kevin have done a great job of the place to make us feel at home. We will definitely return to Avocet House. Andy, Andrea, Custard &Dottie.

From the moment we booked Amber has proven to be an amazing Host with clear and precise instructions along with the feel that nothing would be too much trouble. The welcome feel we got when we entered the property was amazing. Beautiful log fire burning away, underfloor heating and a beautiful welcome pack of goodies were all waiting for us. The property is out of this world and the quality shone all around. We also ventured out to the nearby Griffin Pub which was superb and well worth a visit. Thank you once again Amber for a wonderful weekend and I know we’ll be booking again. Mike

We loved our stay at the cottage, located in the idyllic village of Great Massingham. The cottage felt lovely and cosy and the hot tub was a great bonus. It was everything we needed for a weekend stay in Norfolk. Our little dog also felt very welcome, there was a dog bed, bowls, towel even treats, all a nice touch. Would recommend to anyone thinking of staying! Couldn’t fault it!
