We had a wonderful few days here! It was nice and cozy for our young kids and small dog. We enjoyed exploring Idyllwild and the location was great! Would stay again!

We loved our stay at Freewyld. We could easily walk into town or stay in and take a soak in the hot tub if we were feeling less adventurous. The cabin is very well stocked with an incredibly comfy bed, fresh linens, and very high-quality bath products which I really enjoyed. I also appreciated the thorough instructions were to use all the features of the house like the fireplace and air conditioner. It made staying there a breeze and I felt like I could easily use all of the amenities that were available to us. We also used some of the features in the communal area like the Stargazing nets. The chair hammock on the back porch was a nice touch as well. If we ever come back to Idyllwild, this will be our go to place to stay. I thought it was a great deal for all of the amenities and space that we had.

This was an ideal place for a relaxing weekend getaway! Great location, walkable to the village and to trailheads. A home away from home with everything we needed. Expectations and instructions were clearly communicated and Anna was very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend a stay here!

Can’t say enough about this place! Beautiful spot only 5 minutes from town. So beautifully decorated and our family absolutely loved the amenities like the ping pong table and hot tub. Our dogs loved the large back yard and this place is so spacious and roomy. Would love to come back here!

We had a wonderful stay. The home felt very private, was beautifully decorated, and had all of the amenities one could ask for. I would definitively stay again.

My husband and I enjoyed a nice little getaway at Astrid’s cabin. The house has a lot of character with a fun, cozy vibe. It felt private but is also just a quick drive away from town. The bedrooms are spacious with comfy beds, and the upstairs loft is a great place to hangout and play board games or listen to records. The living room is also a nice to place to relax and watch tv. The house was very clean and contained all listed amenities. The hot tub was a lovely bonus, especially after a long day of hiking. It was clean, and the water was already set to a perfect temperature. It’s a great place to take in the beautiful surroundings. Astrid was very responsive, quick to answer any questions we had. She made us feel right at home. We look forward to coming back in the future with our kids and would certainly recommend her place to friends.

Sandra’s place is amazing. It’s perfectly located giving you easy access to town as well as multiple trails for hiking. The hot tub is great, fireplace is easy to use…. The place is perfect. She’s also thought of everything. From leaving flashlights, head lamps, dog poop bags, lint rollers… anything you need, it’s there. I highly recommend staying with Sandra!

The house was perfect for my family of four. Plenty of space in living areas and kitchen was perfect. Outdoor space on deck was enjoyable and jacuzzi was amazing at night. Great location to walk to town. Overall a great place to stay

This is the second time we stayed in this cozy home. We love this home very much because it is cozy, quiet, clean, and walkable to Village Center of Idyllwild. The check-in and check-out procedures are super easy, and the host always communicate very well with us via Airbnb app. Thanks to the host. We enjoyed the stay very much...We had coffee on the porch, walked around the town with our little dog, watched 2 movies, and enjoyed eating out! A perfect getaway weekend to celebrate our anniversary.

Gary's cabin is just as described: Clean and modern. And also cozy, spacious and a wonderful spot to base in Idyllwild. The grounds were beautifully manicured, including a water basins with the sound of water falling. Although right off the main road, I didn't hear road sounds. The property is surrounded by towering trees and there is a good distance and privacy from the other AirBnb cabin on the same property. In the morning, I walked to Alpaca cafe and got a workout at Pharos fitness next door – a great way to start the day. There is much thought put into the layout, design and amenities. I've been coming to Idyllwild for years and it is a relief to know there are now options to stay in Idyllwild that aren't the ol' school stuffy cabins with embroidered drapes, plaid flannel sheets, knotty pine walls stuffed with dusty knickknacks and a giant chainsawed log bear on the porch. Gary's cabin is a much-needed upgrade from the dark stuffy cabins of year's past.

We had a wonderful stay at Peaceful Pines! The cozy cabin was perfect for us and our two dogs. The backyard is a huge blessing and allowed us to have some time together without our pups. Jay is a kind person and welcomed us when we arrived. We are hoping to make this an annual trip! Thank you Jay 🐾

Had a great time staying at Sarah’s house! Sarah was an amazing host and the home is so nicely done. Very peaceful and a short drive into town. The house had everything we needed and Sarah’s instructions and recommendations made things very comfortable.

Lisa and Ryan were excellent hosts! A cozy and beautiful home in the mountains. The area was peaceful and it offered a nice view.

Charming Cozy Stay in the Snow! We had a wonderful stay at this cute little Airbnb in Idyllwild! The space was perfect for two adults (and small pet-friendly too, which was a huge plus for us). The backyard is super big plenty of room to let your pup roam around. We visited during snowfall, and the whole experience felt like a winter wonderland. The home was warm, cozy, and just a short distance from the main village market. Super convenient for grabbing food or exploring local shops. Mario, our host, was incredibly attentive and responsive. He quickly addressed the small issues we encountered and made sure our stay was comfortable. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful getaway!

Thank you so much for letting my family and I make a home out of your cabin for a few days! We celebrated our youngest daughter’s 6th birthday while we were there. We didn’t expect snowfall so that was definitely a plus! The home was beautiful and our stay was more than pleasant! Thank you again for everything! Lots of love from my family to yours! 🩷

It was a very comfortable and cozy stay at Michael’s beautiful home. He was very responsive to any questions we had . The bunk bed also added some extra fun for our toddler . I highly recommend staying here .

Absolutely stunning little cabin! We stayed here for our honeymoon and Michael and Cat were such wonderful hosts. They had a beautiful bunch of flowers, eggs and fresh oranges for arrival. The cabin was so cozy and looked even better than the photos. It is in the most beautiful location and close to great restaurants. We can’t say anything negative for this gorgeous, romantic cabin.

Beautiful location, excellent cabin. Anita was very responsive, helpful and kind. Everything was exactly as described/pictured, all amenities were great, close to town and stores, provided items were perfect and thoughtful. Can not wait to visit again!!

Marissa was a great host, we loved everything about this peaceful cabin feel place. Very private and peaceful, short drive to restaurants and coffee shops. trails and the Nature Center. The place itself was very clean and comfortable. Marissa's products smell and feel natural and organic. I myself visited her store in town and bought the Energy clearing mist and a body oil along with an organic Soap. Can't wait to be back. 😊🏔⛰️🥾

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for... a quiet get-away where we could rest in a peaceful place. We took little day trips to see other local towns; so much character. The cabin has everything you need while still having a nice feel of simplicity. Would recommend for others and would definitely stay here again!

Sitting on the porch with my morning coffee, enjoying the mountain air, songbirds, evergreens….. There was no place that I’d rather be. We appreciate the nice touches that Elena put in: such as the bird feeders, gurgling fountain and kitchen utensils. Thank you, Elena, for your lovely nature retreat that we will return to again.

We had a wonderful time at this amazing cabin. The location was close to town. The home was beautiful, clean, cozy, and updated. We had 4 young children in the house, it was a perfect space for play and family time. We enjoyed the large deck to enjoy the lovely surroundings. We saw lots of wildlife including a beautiful hawk stretching in the early morning and a family of deer walking past! If you are trading with family, it is a great place to get away!

Wonderful mountain getaway! The cabin has the perfect layout for enjoying family and friends. The open plan with a spacious kitchen, living room, dining area and fireplace was awesome. Right off the main area is a deck with beautiful views that has a nice seating and outdoor dining area. Everything was sparkling clean and there were nice touches that made the place feel extra relaxing and peaceful. I appreciate that the hosts were extra responsive and caring about our comfort and enjoyment of the place.

The stay was amazing! The house was very pretty in the snow, and I love the serendipity. The host was being very helpful in terms of providing essential info for us getting there in the snow, and was very responsive. Geoff even came to help personally when we had an issue with our car, super grateful. Five out of five, highly recommended!
