Beautiful home in a peaceful neighborhood! We loved the woods in the backyard and the back porch was the place to be! The house was just as it was described and the pictures were exactly what we experienced. Matthew was a great host and replied quickly to my questions. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the house was clean. We would definitely stay here again!

I enjoyed our stay 100%! Tracy was very helpful and friendly. This home is one I recommend to anyone. Very beautiful home and even nicer host. Definitely plan on being back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Gary's place! The mountain home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very spacious for our three children. My kids have never seen snow and it actually snowed our last day there. Just made our trip even more special! ☺️

This was my 2nd time to stay at this home & it was just as I remembered. The area is great, easy to get to everything. The home itself is so peaceful & has a beautiful view. Ben & Tori are great hosts. I created a trip board for the area after my 1st visit years ago just so I could always find this listing. I look forward to returning soon. The home itself has most all you need for an enjoyable stay. I was in town for business & it was conveniently located for me to have an easy commute back & forth from the University.

We loved staying here and it was very cozy. We especially enjoyed the fenced in back yard for our pup! The house had everything we needed and made us feel at home.

We just stayed one night because we were mainly in transit on our way home and this location was a sweet spot that fit with our plans. The exterior is quite charming- stone A-frame in a wooded setting and the interior is a blend of cushiony comfort and a visit to either New Orleans or a modern art museum. It was fun and funky! The bedroom was extremely comfortable and it was very quiet. We slept well and in absolute comfort! I would definitely recommend this rental to others!!

Strangest stay ever the hot water heater blew and I had to leave to get a hotel. But host responded and money was reimbursed right away. So overall great service but did not get to stay. But everyone was great so thanks.

Jodie was extremely helpful in accommodating a guest we were hosting on campus who needed alternative accommodation at short notice. We're very grateful for her responsiveness and flexibility!

My friend and I had stayed here over the weekend, it was great for what we were needing. We were going to a music festival over the weekend and we had all essentials and Vicky was very nice. The area is also nice and peaceful it was a great place to have a break at between the festival.

With an expansive view of Tim’s Ford Lake from a bluff on a private and peaceful peninsula, we had a lovely stay in this well appointed and affordable place. The lake is accessible from stairs down to a peaceful dock from which kayaks can be launched. It also gives easy access to tailwater below the dam where we caught a goodly number of rainbow and brown trout. Being able to watch movies in the evening after grilling out on the enormous projection unit with surround sound was quite a bonus. The view from the master overlooking the lake, and the wind down opportunity in the hot tub with the same gorgeous view were really fantastic features as well. We had a lovely time.

I had a great stay! The place was clean and comfy and had everything I needed. Robert went above and beyond. He stopped by before the concert to answer some questions for people and he came by again after the show to make sure everyone staying had what they needed, and got a fire started for us! Great location and just a cool/fun environment. Many good memories in just one night! Thank you! Would 100% stay again!

While we didn't met Rachel we were greeted by Tom, the manager, and he was friendly and easy to get along with. During our stay we made a couple of requests and they were handled immediately. The building is old & quirky and a work in progress but the rooms are beautifully furnished and have all the creature comforts ( we got a tour !). Rachel and Tom are community minded and are working towards making Franklin House a vital part of the Cowan community. If you love small town adventures this is the perfect place to go ! We had a great time !

This was our third stay, and it has been satisfying to see the investments made in the property over time. First there was the addition of outdoor amenities like a picnic table, grill, and lights. This time we noticed upgrades like a new mattress, TV, and coffee table. The hosts were super responsive, too, when something came up. We look forward to seeing what’s next!

Robert was fantastic. He checked on us to make sure we got into the property and had everything we needed. Such a friendly guy! The bed was really comfortable and the unit was clean. The property has camping spots, cabins and the studio we stayed in. I was worried it would be loud staying above the bathhouse for the cabins / campers but it wasn’t. We had such a great time at the Caverns for the concert and then enjoyed a firepit and hanging out with others staying on the property. Easy walk to the concert venue. Definitely will stay again. First class host!
