We came here for a few days honeymoon and loved it. was a lovely little place and so peaceful. We loved the chicken, bee hives and birds that visit the garden. Comfy bed and everything we needed. We loved the hot tub too.

Such a lovely place to stay, really relaxing and peaceful! Jenna was amazing and quick to respond to any queries! Her guide book was also really helpful and the place was immaculate! Would love to revisit and definitely recommend to others!

We had a fabulous stay with family here.The kids especially loved the hot tub and table tennis.The kitchen was really well equipped so it was easy to cook and serve for a group…the beds were comfortable.Theres a shop in walking distance and the house is 2 minutes from the edge of the forest….took us 6 minutes to reach Lyndhurst.Came home very relaxed!Thank you for having us!

We had such a fantastic time in Jocelyn and David’s Air B & B with our 11 month old twins. The place is very child friendly with cots, highchairs and plenty of toys which our twins loved to play with. Everything is very cosy and comfortable (with comfy sofas and beds) and the kitchen is well equipped. Everything was also very clean. We also enjoyed having a glass of wine in the hot tub after we put our twins to bed. It is in a great location with plenty of great nearby pubs and walks. A big highlight was all the amazing gentle and friendly animals - horses, a donkey, and chickens to name a few which we and our twins enjoyed going to see every morning. We also thought Jocelyn and David were thoughtful hosts and very friendly. We would thoroughly recommend to families or couples. We hope to be back soon! Thank you Jocelyn and David!

Lovely weekend with friends. Beautiful location and the hosts were happy to provide suggestions on where to go etc and were very responsive. The croissants, jams, coffees etc were a lovely addition to our first morning!!🌞 Sue and Robert were also flexible with us leaving the car in the space after check out for a bit so we could go for a walk and make the most of the weather!

The bothy didn’t disappoint. Beautiful and peaceful. The cottage had everything you needed with a wood burner and hot tub which we enjoyed using . Chrissy was a great host , checking in to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay . I would recommend having breakfast at the potting shed and there also a lovely pub which is in walking distance. We had a lovely relaxing few days and wouldn’t hesitate recommending this beautiful place . We will be back !!!.

we had a wonderful stay at Keiths place. they went above and beyond, providing breakfast, milk, orange juice, and lots of other little touches that made us feel very welcome and comfortable. it's a beautiful cottage in stunning surroundings, and Keith was really helpful in explaining local walks. the hot tub was gorgeous, and they provided dressing gowns and towels which again made it feel more comfortable and welcoming than most other airbnbs that I have been to. we will be back, thanks so much to the wonderful hosts! We had a lovely stay here over New Year. We enjoyed the chance to relax & chill in the lovely setting of the cottage. There seemed to be some nice opportunities for dog walks nearby, but we didn’t explore these, other than a quick stroll in the pouring rain along the seafront at Felpham! The little cottage has lots of thoughtful extra touches, perfect for families with younger children-a booster seat, children’s books/toys/puzzles upstairs, step stool in the bathroom & a travel cot. There was an under cover outside space which would be great in warmer weather & a small enclosed courtyard with a small patio set. Some useful additions for dog owners included a basket with towels, blankets & bowls, which are also a thoughtful & useful touch. In the kitchen, more thoughtful & useful essentials were provided-tin foil, cling film, oil, salt & pepper, tea, coffee & milk. A great place to stay, with friendly owners when we bumped into them. Thank you so much for our stay, we’d go back!

A lovely little get away, the small garden was a nice sun trap! We were lucky with our weather. We asked for a new kettle as the one we had had quite a bit of limescale in which ended up in our tea and Caroline was very apologetic and quickly got us another one- not her fault at all we are form an area with hard water but she replied quickly and attended our needs. A very peaceful area if you want a few quiet days away. Only improvement would be nice to have a smart TV but that’s personal preference. Bed was super comfy!

We had such a lovey time at the cottage, it is exceptionally charming and beautifully decorated. Rebecca went out of her way to make sure we had everything we’d need on arrival which we really appreciated. After a long country walk, visiting the local pubs and tranquil quay in Bosham, we cosied up by the fire and enjoyed rustic charm of the old building, the spacious bath and comfortable beds. We’d definitely come again! Thank you Rebecca.

Perfect location for all the needs of our visit, super friendly and responsive host. Exactly what we were looking for

Firstly thank you Paul & Sarah for your directions. If you put the cottage post code in to your sat nav it will have you carrying out a U turn on the A31 so please note the directions given. The cottage is in a lovely location and was cosy, well furnished, well equipped and clean. The garden was lovely and great for our dogs but small dogs can squeeze through gaps in the fence (Paul is aware and is planning to block off any escape routes). There were fresh tulips and shortbread to greet us, which was a lovely touch, as well as lovely toiletries. Paul & Sarah were responsive to any queries or needs we had. There are lovely walks through the forest right on your doorstep. There is an outdoor hose for washing muddy footwear and paws. There are outside lights but the torch inside the cottage came in handy. We would happily recommend the cottage for a relaxing break.

We enjoyed our second stay at the old barn, homely quiet location with walks nearby for our old dog.

We had a lovely stay at Brushwood Cottage! The moment we arrived, we were in awe of the character and history that this cottage holds. The location is perfect for anyone wanting a quiet getaway with easy access to local attractions. The surrounding countryside is stunning, and we enjoyed exploring the nearby walking trails. The cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The garden was also a perfect spot for morning coffee and great for our 2 dogs. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention has gone into preserving the cottage’s historic charm while making it a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Great stay! Nice little place, very clean, just off the high street near all the restaurants bars and shops!

We had a wonderful couple of nights at this house. It was lovely and spacious along with very comfy. A little tricky to find when you’ve parked up but was we got there! The host was great and lovely and friendly with lots of helpful messages

Really relaxing, comfortable and peaceful. Superb decking area and private garden area. Lots of places to visit and the setting is lovely. In fact, met all our expectations and more! Really pleasant stay in sumptuous surroundings. Outstanding host!

The most beautiful comfortable cottage to stay in whilst golfing at Sunningdale nearby. The decor very stylish and extremely comfortable beds. Rachel is hugely worthy of her Superhostess status. Kindly stocked the cottage with delicious goodies. Very welcoming and warm and accommodating to our arrival time. We would certainly wish to rent the cottage again. Thank you

Fantastic cottage in a quaint village. Nice and quiet vicinity but not much to do in Colnbrook itself, however, close proximity to Heathrow airport (15 min drive) and local motorways (M4 & M25) makes getting out and about very easy. The Ostrich Inn, an old coaching inn, is a must visit and is a one minute walk from the house. The host allowed us to check in earlier than stated as our flight landed in the morning. She greeted us at the cottage and gave us a short run down of the facilities. The cottage was very clean & warm. Nice quality bedding with very comfortable beds, easily accommodated 4 adults. Highly recommended.

The host was extremely responsive and helpful. They offered the option of an earlier check in which suited me perfectly. The place was clean, warm, cosy and in a quiet location, close to where I wanted to explore. It was everything I needed for the trip away. Thanks once again!
