This was our second stay at Janel's place and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. We loved the fireplace and views from the A frame windows. The hot tub wasn't working unfortunately, but things happen and Janel was communicative about it. Had a great weekend regardless. Also love that Janel is accommodating of dogs. Our fur babies were happy to join us on our getaway.

Daniel was the most commutative and friendly host! he answered all of our questions and the stay was absolutely astounding! when you ride into the place on the gravel road, once you get to the private fence in the front that leads to the tiny home, you are totally captivated. it looks like a picture out of a magazine. The space is incredibly large and the trails were so calm and peaceful to walk with our dog. we really enjoyed ourselves. the home itself was comfortable. have all the amenities that you need. we would definitely be coming back again. we enjoyed our experience and the hot tub, start getting that done early so you can enjoy it for the whole trip that you were there.

Both Mark and the place were absolutely amazing! My guest and I had an absolutely wonderful time at the cabin, and we loved the privacy it offered after days of exploring. It really felt like a home away from home. Not to mention how attentive Mark was and the clear instructions throughout. He gave so much information that I was so grateful for! All around an amazing stay that I can't recommend enough.

We had the most amazing time! It was so relaxing and a beautiful cabin at a great location. We love how secluded and private it was. Even better that it was pet friendly so we could bring our dog! He got to swim while we kayaked. Felt right at home, thank you again Brandi for opening your home up to us!

Gorgeous, private space— perfect for a weekend getaway for us, our 9 month old, and our dog. Hosts were great and had everything we needed!

The place was very clean and the view was wonderful! There were also lots of entertainment options- Ms. Pac-Man, pool, cornhole. The old cabin on the property was also a really nice feature. It was conveniently located just up the road from the Kennedy Peak Trailhead. There was some confusion regarding an amenity but Jan was very responsive and quickly made things right. My only regret is that we didn’t get a chance to visit the private river spot.

Great place to gather with our family for hiking and relaxing. Kitchen was well stocked. Propane grill was a nice plus! Connor was a great host!

This location was fantastic, plenty of room and things to do. Very peaceful. The host had clear directions on how to make this stay as smooth as possible, and was very communicative ! My friends and I had a fantastic time and are looking forward to revisiting sometime in the near future. Thank you.

We had a great time. This was our first time renting a cabin and I’m glad this place was the first one. This was a birthday getaway with the family and fur babies. My kids had tons of fun with all the games, pool table and ping pong table. My dogs had tons of room to run around outside and enjoy nature. I was even able to request a special surprise for my wife, since it was her birthday, and thanks to Heidy it was made possible. We can’t wait to come back in the near future.

First off it’s very rare that you find a place that matches the description and the pictures and this place is absolutely fantastic. The hosts are amazing. I actually got to meet one at their little store and they are one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I would definitely recommend it to anybody looking to visit that area, such a beautiful view and a fantastic place to stay.

My wife and I and our two dogs thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I requested to extend my stay and immediately recieved a response. Absolutely beautiful views and charming area. Everything you need is within a short drive and there is plenty to explore. Perfect staging point to view several locations. We felt right at home and needed this unwind time. Reagan's place was so charming and perfect for our getaway! Everything was exactly as described. I appreciated the secluded and cozy nature of the cabin, but also the proximity to restaurants, stores and hiking trails. I highly recommend this cabin, and hope to return on a future getaway.

The cabin is beautiful and had plenty of room for us (6 adults, 3 kids & 1 infant). Everything was exactly how it is pictured! The hosts couldn’t have been nicer & were very accommodating. Location was perfect for all that we wanted to see including Luray Caverns & hiking Shenandoah National Park. Our family vacation was perfect and we look forward to staying there again in the future!

A rustic cabin in the woods for some R and R was what we had hoped for…and we got it! Beautiful wood beams. So nice to have a private bathroom, as well as a window unit for heat and A/C. The shared kitchen was less than 50 feet away and had all the cooking vessels, utensils and cookware to make a meal. But we loved going to cafe! Barbara and her team served up delicious meals.

Great stay! Plenty of firewood, quiet area, local meat in the freezer, well stocked kitchen, and clean bathroom! We tried Mack’s Bingo restaurant in town, which was great! Also enjoyed hiking Cranny Crow and Trout Pond! Only things to notes- it’s a small toilet and shower, no tub and guests clean their own dishes, so some were less than spotless. Otherwise super clean and cozy!

We had a wonderful experience! The yurt is lovely and so well cleaned and cared for. The views are so peaceful. Douglas was very communicative and recommend a most wonderful hike!

Lovely little cabin with great amenities. Hot tub was awesome. Cute town and good hiking. Only small complaint was I was hoping from the description there would be woods/space to walk around in with my dogs but the majority of the land is on a steep incline that’s not really walkable at all.

Buck's Run was a beautiful cabin tucked away in the Shenandoah. It was a peaceful getaway for my friends and we enjoyed lounging about playing board games, reading, soaking in the hot tub, and staring out into the woods as the snow fell. Jen was very proactive in making sure we were going to be ok with the incoming storm and Pete their local manager was very responsive with questions we had.

We were looking for a cozy long weekend off the grid and that’s exactly what we got. The cabin was rustic but well maintained and the location remote but within arms length of civilization. Jennifer and Ian were incredibly responsive. Highly recommend — and grab firewood/fresh eggs from them if you can!

We’ve been here several times. And it never disappoints. Hiking was beautiful, the river is awesome. Love having the whole place to ourselves. It’s so peaceful ! Thanks again !

Our stay was delightful, the cabin was beautiful, and Shaleen was incredibly flexible and responsive when we were hit with inclement weather. We hope to be back soon!
