10 stars!!!!We have been to Decorah quite a few times over the years and had many great stays, but the hospitality and friendliness of Dorothea is above and beyond! She brought over delicious, warm scotcheroos, left the kids money for the fish hatchery (totally recommend), and warmly greeted and chatted with each of my kids. My 5 kids (9 and under) loved the cars/big wheels to ride up and down the driveway, the slide, and the swings. The little house with the pigs and the little turtle family was also a big hit outside. My littles loved waving to the tractors out in the fields, and my dad loved spotting deer early in the morning. So many toys/activities in the house, and they also loved the fun bath toys! My kids asked if we can come back this summer! We had fire alarm incident, and Dorothea and her husband just went above and beyond. I felt so guilty for bothering them late at night, as the issue was not at all their fault. They were just so wonderful. Thank you so much!!

We loved staying at Jami and Chris' place. The setting with gorgeous...horses in the meadow, trees and bluff, deer in the yard, waterfall and stream right outside the window. We had everything we needed. The house is incredibly well-appointed. Every little convenience has been thought of. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Woodburning fireplace inside was an bonus and added to the beautiful ambiance. Thanks so much. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Lois is a great host. She responded to questions right way and was very helpful. Her home is impeccably well kept. Clean, cute, cozy, and decorated for the season. I will definitely be back if I’m in the area again. Highly recommend!

Beautiful updated, cozy home. Fantastic kitchen and bathrooms. Very clean. Nice location, very peaceful setting in the woods. Many thoughtful touches that made us feel welcomed. House manager even left a nice note and homemade treat upon arrival. We would definitely stay here again.

Betsy was wonderful in communicating helpful details about the house. The house was very clean, well maintained, and had lots of extra amenities. We were a group of friends on a girls trip and the house was in the perfect location for shopping and eating through downtown Decorah.

We loved celebrating a friend’s birthday with a “mom’s weekend” in Decorah! The AirBNB was perfect! The home is nicely prepared for any group that stayed, bathrooms and bedrooms were very clean! We loved having coffee in the living room in the mornings and playing card games around the table at night! We would stay again!

The cottage exceeded our expectations, it was so cozy, clean, and beautifully updated! We were within walking distance of several popular sites, including Dunning Springs and downtown Decorah. This is our first time visiting Decorah it was an amazing experience! Thank you again Kelly for the warm welcome and the best Airbnb we have stayed at yet!!

I loved staying here; it felt like I was at Grandma's house! The bathroom was awesome, with heated floors and a luxurious shower, and it was extremely clean. The sofa was very comfortable, which is hard to find sometimes! I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Really enjoyed staying here for the Toppling Goliath KBBS release. The unit is spotless and clean. The host was helpful, friendly, and quick with local recommendations. If you’re planning on visiting Toppling Goliath this is the place to stay. You can easily walk there and there.

We love our annual trips to Decorah and especially love when Trisha's place is available for us to stay! Berryhill Flat is pristinely cleaned and equipped with anything needed for a great stay. The entire property is absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. My son and I especially loved star gazing each night because we could see the stars so clearly. The hosts are super friendly and very accommodating. We look forward to our next stay!

We loved our stay, we were there for a bowling tournament. It was very easy to find, clear instructions to get there, clear parking and to get into the unit. Appreciated the snacks and water along with the book with history and different brochures in the area. Clear communication. Very clean space and exactly what the pictures and description of the property showed on the website. We did not need any of the extra toiletries but the thought of it was very nice! My kids and I played Uno and there was even pen and paper accessible in case we needed it! Would definitely stay again if ever in the area!!

Great place to stay to catch up with some friends. There’s plenty of seating in the living room and dining table. Everything was clean. It had great restaurants and coffee shops that were all walkable. You could even walk to some hiking trails in ice cave park. Fun town, can’t wait to visit again!

Eight adults & one toddler totally enjoyed this AIR BnB. It was scenic, we watched Bald Eagles, fished, hiked & BBQ'd. And we made forever memories. The house is spacious & gorgeous. We were in the upper section & enjoyed our time there. My only concern is there needs to be more lighting, in/outside. I am somewhat visually impaired & found the cooking area & kitchen sink was not enough light for me . The firepit area was not lighted & it was a hazard for me to walk in the immediate area. Lighting is needed in upper shower area, too. Other than that, everything else was perfect. Would probably book again, though. Thank you!

Sean was an amazing host to our group who came into town for a funeral. He was very easy to work with and made our stay pleasant and accommodating. The place is extremely well kept, is in a nice quiet area, and has a beautiful view. We greatly appreciated having a place to spend a restful evening after a long day of driving. The little coffee bar that was provided was a big hit!

We were in town for my son graduation at Luther. Rather than pay the over price hotels in the area, we choose Tami place & it was well worth what we spent. Host family was incredibly welcoming. Made our family feel like we were home. We would for sure choose this home again! We thank them for making this a memorable time.

Nice spot to stay at overnight for activities in Decorah and other neighboring towns.

Perfect location and scenery if you are looking to get off of the grid but still want access to restaurants and small-town amenities nearby. Host is very responsive and answered all of our questions prior to booking. Everything was as it is described in the listing so we felt our experience was exactly as we expected for privacy, accomodations, etc. We will definitely be booking another stay here in the near future!
