The Shack was exactly what we needed for a quick family getaway. We appreciated the tranquility and scenery of the countryside with the convenience of being just minutes away from restaurants and a picturesque distillery. Our daughters loved the treehouse, slide, and pool. They want to visit again but stay longer next time. :-) Tim was great to work with, attentive and helpful.

This was a great place to stay on the south side of La Crosse, WI. Our host, Amber, was great to work with and was super responsive to questions, etc. The kids really enjoyed the hot tub and dual living room areas. Having access to the garage space was another huge plus with the ice fishing gear we had to thaw out. The kitchen was well stocked with nice cookware and utensils - easy to find items and an abundance of space to prep meals! This place was by far the nicest we have ever stayed at! We highly recommend this rental and it would be great in the summer time as it has a really nice pool area and deck space!

Great place! Great views and very comfortable for our group of 8. Provided room to be together and space apart for individual quiet time if desired. Well appointed and well taken care of. Beau was very responsive, accommodating, and super friendly! This is our new go-to spot when visiting LC. Definitely recommend!

Checking in to Erin's house was very easy. She is very easy to communicate with. Soon after checkin, Erin messaged us to make sure everything was in order and to see if we had any questions. The views are absolutely amazing. From the moment we booked the house I couldn't wait to enjoy coffee in the sunroom. It did not disappoint. The sunroom has heated tile floors and a small wood burning fireplace. So cozy! The pool and pinball machines were a big hit for the kids. We would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at Corrine's. She was very responsive to any questions we had. She gave great recommendations for places to eat in La Crosse. Her house is beautiful. The hiking trail was well taken care of, was a great hike, and it very had pretty scenery. The pool was clean and was so fun to hang around.

Mindy was great from the start of the Airbnb and to the end! She was very responsive when we asked for local pizza recommendations in town and confirmed our questions without hesitation even when she was trying to enjoy her own Vacation! She was so nice and her home is amazing! Enjoyed the hot tub and how spacious her whole hole layout was. Would love to stay again here with my girlfriends.

We had a great stay. Centrally located for everything we planned to do in town. Nice neighborhood and cute place.

This cabin is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! I looked for a week to find a cabin that had amazing views, was peaceful and had that comfy cozy feel. If you are looking for an amazing cabin with stunning views and wonderful amenities this is it! My boyfriend and I loved making coffee and sitting on the porch and watching the sunrise and listening to the sound of nature. The bathroom tub is like a dream and the bed is so comfortable. It snowed quite a bit during our stay and they were out to scrape and snow blow the driveway as soon as it was done. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and our first Valentine’s Day together!! We will absolutely be back in the fall to see the whole valley of trees change colors!! Thank you again!!

Stayed here while working out of town with my crew, was very easy to book and had a response in a very timely manner. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to keep a group together in a shared place for a great price!

The 1955 was charming and comfortable. We will recommend it to our friends and we would definitely stay there again.

I loved the house very clean an organized. I love the fact that its in the country an you dont have to worry about your things outside etc. Great place will rent again

Kaitlyn was very responsive to the issue with the toilet plumbing. she had a plumber out there on Friday night after hours and again on Saturday to fix the issue. we finally had a working toilet. With having 8 women in the house this was definitely a pain, but she kept in touch with me as to what was going on. the beds were so comfortable!!!! She was a super host and we would stay there again!

This is the second time we rented this property with a group of friends. We plan to stay there again when we return to visit La Crosse.

It was so nice to have a home to stay in rather than a hotel. We stayed in this cozy house for 2 weeks as we were in town to watch our daughter play lacrosse. The area is very walkable even to downtown. The home provided us everything that we needed. Margot was easy to reach and quick to respond.

We stayed here 5 nights. This nicely remodeled, well-equipped and provisioned, super comfy home is in a quiet neighborhood, within easy walking distance of several restaurants and super convenient to scenic Route 35. It's 10 minutes to Winona. From the kitchen window, you can look down the street and see the Mississippi River. The couple of times I messaged the hosts, they replied within seconds. The water pressure was great, there was plenty of hot water, and every outlet and light we used worked as did the appliances and Wi-Fi. We didn't bring our dogs on this trip, but dogs are clearly welcome (e.g., treats, dishes). We would happily return, including for a longer stay. Be aware that the bedrooms are upstairs and the stairs are steep (the price of high ceilings!). We opted to leave our bags in the large laundry room and just take upstairs the few things we needed. At present, the garage is unavailable; we parked in the drive, which put us a couple of steps from the entrance.

Great place for what we needed. Our friend is in a wheelchair and it was great that everything was so accessible for him.

My fiancé and I had our engagement party with our friends here, we rented the entire home. The location and home itself was beautiful and right on the river. Logan was a very proactive and responsive host! We were impressed with the quality of the home as well as the amenities! Would recommend for a getaway weekend for a large or small group!

One of the best Airbnb that we have stayed so far! We enjoyed our stay at Lydia's beautiful home. She is very responsive and her house is extremely well equipped. Her instructions were accurate and we were able to find the house without any issues. Our family had a wonderful time at her place. We're hoping to return again!

Daddy Roy’s is such a cute and cozy place with a vintage aesthetic and modern amenities. It’s a great home base for exploring the cute towns and parks of the driftless region. Highly recommend for anyone who’s visiting the area!

10 stars! More than we could have asked for. Beautiful home, amazing views, immaculately clean, comfortable beds and linens, everything we needed and more. The owner’s were gracious and responsive. We appreciated knowing our stay would benefit others. Gathering Waters was a perfect location for our women’s weekend. We will be back!

This peaceful retreat gave us the space to reconnect, breathe, and just be. We spent time down at the river, laughed together, and watched my sons play like they were little again—it brought tears to my eyes. The home is spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with everything you could possibly need. The soaking tub was a dream, and the whole place felt like a warm hug. The host was unbelievably kind, helpful, and generous—going above and beyond in every way. This stay brought healing, joy, and peace back into our hearts, and I’ll be forever grateful. If you’re looking for more than just a place to stay, this is it. We can’t wait to return.
