We had a fantastic time. The kids loved jumping off the dock, paddling around in the kayaks, and floating on the lily pad. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. The nearby boat launch was very convenient. Beautiful place.

Highly recommend!! This was the perfect getaway! This house had everything we needed! It was right on the water, amazing views, great extra amenities (paddle boards, kayak, etc.). Hallie was so kind and responsive in all communications. The house itself is beautiful!! Amazing kings size beds! Couldn’t recommend more! We will be back, for sure!!

Malissa was the perfect hostess. Check in was easy and she allowed us to even check in early. Peaceful and quiet offering a great place to relax and unwind. We will definitely be returning to Malissa’s place.

This home was WONDERFUL! My guests and I came down for a weekend. Myra was responsive, helpful, and proactive in light of the severe weather expected that weekend. The home is cozy and had a great kitchen for us to make dinner. The living room fit all 6 of us and a baby (with blankets, perfectly cozy!) and the bedrooms were comfortable with very clean bathrooms. Would recommend to any larger group of family or friends traveling in the area together!

We were in town for a funeral with 3 adults and 1 child. The funeral home was within walking distance of Connie’s place. Connie’s place was very clean and welcoming. She was very friendly and communicated great. Beds slept great. Check in was easy. Coffee maker was brand new. Bathroom tub could use an update. Overall, we’d stay there again. Local Mexican restaurant Los Arcos was great.

Dave and Pat’s place was absolutely great for us! It was incredibly helpful to be able to dock our boat in their boat house. Dave personally helped us check in and show us everything we needed. They provided a golf cart to get us to and from the boathouse. It was a beautiful view from their patio. It’s not far from the Smith Lake Marina to launch your boat and drive over. At the house, they provided everything we needed. Dave was a fabulous host to us! We will absolutely be staying again!

We took our daughter and six grandkids for a three day stay at Eriks house. We had a wonderful time. It is very kid friendly with lots of things for them to do. They all swam a few times in the pool (the heater kept it warm enough for them) and fished for hours every day at the pond. The house really accommodates a large group easily with lots of dishes, utensils, a large dining table, and lots of seating. I recommend this place for families who want to have a great time and build wonderful memories.

Camp Liberty was literally a "God-Send". Our original lodging arrangement with this platform/company got "whacked" after we had already set out for a 10hr road trip. As we traversed onward to our destination I spent a good deal of time trying to find something that made sense for 2-Adults and 2-dogs <50lbs. Of which, one is a card carrying certified service dog. By God's Grace I came across Camp Liberty. However, I knew we were going to be hours later than normal "check-In" which turned into an additional 5hr as we incurred a "blow-out" but fortunate enough to have gotten off the interstate prior. Colonel Land had already been so generous and kind by accepting our initial reservation but even after explaining the hardship/road crap with finding some help with a tire, etc. after 6pm on a weekday. Colonel Land was MOST accommodating and helpful! He treated us exactly how I would have treated another man. Especially, a man in need of a little help. The place fit our needs to a T!

We were so happy to find this place in haleyville! We have a big family so having a place for everyone is hard to find., especially with a pool! The house is dated for sure but it has everything you need. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. We’re hoping to stay here again! The host was great and answered timely to any questions we had.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was very well done! It was comfortable, very clean and the view of the lake perfect. Daniel was very responsive to all our questions. If we are in the area again we Wouk’s definitely stay here again.

Dave and Pat were readily available to help at any time, even getting up early on a very cold single digit morning to help jump start a dead battery. Thank you Dave!! Location was beautiful on Smith Lake with access to a boat dock and beautiful fire pit for cold winter evenings. House was private, cozy, clean and warm.

A peaceful and quiet place for a restful get away…one of the most beautiful views on Smith Lake. Lynn was very responsive and provided all information needed prior to check-in.

Jim was so flexible. At first I thought i was going to get there early on friday so I wrote him if I could check in early. He said I could be there at noon. We did not end up leaving texas until friday evening so we arrived around 10 am on saturday. The place looked so amazing I still wanted to stay an extra day anyway, I asked if I could add an extra day to my stay since we missed the friday (of course we meant to pay) and he said we definitely could and since we missed friday we could stay the extra day for free! I intended to pay but he said it was fine! Then he walked my kids and I through the main property. The deck, the boathouse, the lake! Wow!!!! It was so beautiful and peaceful! It was like a scene from a movie. Jim offered up sodas and waters and told us if we needed any we can get some at anytime. Walked us inside the main house and said we could get coffee and overall a great and kind host. While out he was messaging me on the AirBNB app to suggest places to visit! 🙌🏼

Wonderful place to relax! The home is beautifully decorated and well equipped for a comfortable stay! Downstairs room is perfect for my teenagers And plenty of comfortable outdoor seating to enjoy the views and scenery! We will definitely be back! I highly recommend this host and their lovely home. We had everything we could ever need for a relaxing vacation. The property was beautiful inside and out, clean, the beds were comfortable, and it has anything you might need to cook a meal in the kitchen. We loved the fire pit and hanging out on the back porch and the dock. We are so thankful we could include our pup on this trip. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here on your next trip!

The cabin is easy to get to and sits on a beautiful point facing the lake. There’s a comfy screened porch, firepit area and boat dock with kayaks. There is a smaller studio cabin on the property as well that he owns and could easily allow for a small group of people to rent both structures! It’s clean and we felt safe in the area. Gas station is five miles away with groceries and made to order pizza. We will definitely be back!

Michelle was super responsive. We booked last minute and she went out of her way to decorate for Christmas even. House was amazing. Well stocked and felt very much at home. We enjoyed watching boats zoom by too. Thank you for a great stay!!!!

We had a great stay. The house appears to be new and is very nicely laid out with lots of comfortable beds. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the direct lake access via the dock. It was a bonus to have the use of some good kayaks, the location was in a nice little cove with good fishing right off the dock.
