Winterburn : locations de vacances

The Piggeries is a lovely house in a beautiful location. Kitchen was extremely well equipped and the layout of the house allows the family to socialise all together but also have the benefit of being able to have one’s own space. Patio and garden are a great advantage particularly when the Lancashire weather plays ball! All in all we had a wonderful stay at The Piggeries and would definitely like to stay here again.

We had a delightful stay in the converted barn. It was so impressive to see the photos of Angela and Wayne's efforts in the instruction book and really appreciated all the information and communication provided. Beds were comfortable, we were warm and all amenities were perfect for what we needed. We definitely want to return one day and will recommend to friends!

From good communication to the actual stay it was all great, house was in the location we needed very cleans and modern, easy to find and easy access and day of arrival, would recommend for a clean no nonsense comfortable stay

A really beautiful cabin, super cute and a clean place to stay. We woke up for the sunrise with animals to look at. This was my favourite part. The hot tub was really nice and the cabin had everything you could need. The destination is a bit further more remote from most the popular places in the Lake District. However, this did not affect our stay as there is a town nearby and lots of walks. Also, it is only a drive away to more popular towns where you can drive through the beautiful countryside. Great stay, stopped with my kids who are mostly teens, they didn’t want to leave! Plenty of room for us all to spread out, very spacious! Convenient for city centre, shops, train station etc Would definitely stop again, many thanks! Host left us sweets and staples which was a lovely touch.

We had a lovely couple of nights stay at John & Carmel’s farmhouse. As a group of 6 who studied at the uni together, it was fantastic to have the farmhouse as a base for a couple of days of adventures. The garden area was lovely (especially with the sun we had!) for cards and sun soaking. Inside was spotless and there was everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I highly recommend staying at The Lodge! The accommodation is spotless, beautifully furnished with a modern touch, and comes with a hot tub offering stunning views, including breathtaking peaks and a nearby waterfall. It’s also just a short walk into the charming village of Marsden, which boasts fantastic pubs and restaurants. Our long weekend stay was perfect, we started with a hike in Glossop, just a 30/40 minute drive away, and then spent the rest of the time exploring Marsden’s pubs, restaurants, and surrounding villages, as well as unwinding in the hot tub. An absolutely flawless experience that I can’t recommend enough!
