Winterburn : locations de vacances

We needed a quiet peaceful location and got exactly that. The accommodation was immaculately clean. We would definitely come back. The hosts are excellent.

Absolutely fabulous cottage-gorgeous location, super spacious and very well equipped.

Lovingly restored property with oodles of internal space for 6 (2 adults, 2 teens and 2 children). The high ceilings, exposed beams and the veluxe windows with views of the sky were particular highlights. Langway has all the amenities inside you could need and more. Lovely to have an air bnb place that has the key bits in the kitchen that make life a bit easier when you're only a way a short period and haven't bought absolutely everything with you - cling/foil/condiments/ squash. The welcome basket and bottle of wine was a lovely touch. Beds and bedding were really comfy. Sofas not super comfy, but we didn't spend long say on them as we were mainly out exploring. Not far to Kendal and to Windemere by car. Langway has limited outside space, but we knew that on booking and the little courtyard with table and chairs was enough for us. It does face on to the lane, but the lane is exceedingly quiet with only a handful of cars ever passing. Overall, would definitely recommend!

From good communication to the actual stay it was all great, house was in the location we needed very cleans and modern, easy to find and easy access and day of arrival, would recommend for a clean no nonsense comfortable stay

We visited with our dog and stayed in the Smardale Cabin. It was the perfect place for us with everything we could have needed and close local walks, also easy to travel around the area. We found a lot of recommendations through the information Stuart provided and leaflets in the cabin. It was very peaceful and relaxing with the hot tub which can be used at any point as it is constantly heated. We also enjoyed toasting marshmallows using the fire pit (everything you need for it is available to buy in the little shop if you don’t bring your own). We would highly recommend this stay and hope we can return soon!

My entire family absolutely loved this place! The house is spacious & modern. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked, and there was plenty of closet space in each bedroom, making it perfect for a comfortable stay. The living area was a highlight, with incredibly cozy couches and a huge TV that made relaxing even better. Having a bathroom on each floor was a fantastic convenience- especially for my mom & toddler. Dani was a wonderful host—warm, courteous, and incredibly thoughtful. She even stocked the fridge with milk and bread, which was such a kind and hospitable gesture. Overall, I highly recommend this place! The photos don’t do it justice—it’s even better in person! If ever I am in Leeds again, I will be staying here.

Definitely my favourite Airbnb booking in 7 years!! The cabin it’s very well equipped, I’d say they thought about everything. Everything is super clean, good smell in every room. They have 4 smart tv’s, one in each room/lounge. Bed sheets were good quality and smelling really good. Good wi-fi as well. The cabin it’s reserved out of anyone’s way, it’s super quiet (you’ll be the last one in a cul-de-sac), you’ll only hear the animals and river which can be seen of 2 different bedroom windows , so from privacy perspective spot on, ideal for a couple or a family escape. I will definitely go again, I usually don’t even leave reviews , but after 2 nights I fully recharged my batteries. Hot tub was again spotless and the right temperature, both of us really enjoyed that too. The only suggestion I’d have which is probably not a must, more like a personal preference, would be building 3 walls to break the wind and probably cover the canopy/roof over hot tub. Me and my partner spent the weekend here and it was the most peaceful and beautiful place. Lodge was spotless when we arrived and the hottub was all ready for us. During the day there is a few hikers going past the lodge so that is something to take into consideration when booking but we didn't mind this. Only thing we had to point out was there was no milk when we arrived which we assumed would be in the fridge because there was everything else there to make a cup of coffee/tea. Overall it was a lovely and peaceful experience and we would recommend this lodge to anyone.
