We had a wonderful time staying here!! It was exactly what we expected! Private and close to town. Very clean and cozy. Our host had amazing communication skills. She promply responded to all our questions and was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely remember this place for future stays in Leavenworth.

It was an absolute great place to stay especially if you want to stay closer to Leavenworth and go back and forth. The hot tub was amazing and the game room was cherry on the top. Would definitely come back to stay :)

A beautiful and cozy cabin with everything we could have wanted for a relaxing weekend!

We stayed over Valentine's / President's weekend, and Dory's place was perfect for us. The kitchen was well-appointed enough to make a nice Valentine's dinner. There was more than enough room for our family of 4 plus dog. The instructions for having a dog were concise, clear, and easy to follow. The location was perfect to head to Wenatchee State Park to enjoy the sledding hill and snowshoe trails. It was also fairly close to Leavenworth and Plain, allowing us to enjoy the Plain General Store as well as a day in Leavenworth (including the Leavenworth Adventure Park). Thank you for a wonderful place for a winter getaway!

We had a group of ten people staying in this house and it was perfect for us. The house and scenery were beautiful. The kitchen and living room had plenty of space for our group to hang out. The kitchen was very well stocked, making it easy for us to cook. The amenities and hot tub were also a nice bonus. We had a great time and would stay here again.

Beautiful home that felt very cozy

Don and Kate's place was charming and cozy. It was well stocked and made for a great holiday in the mountains with the kids. We didn't have high expectations because we knew it was going to be snowy and cold but we were wrong! We had such a good time hiking on the frozen lake, sledding and playing in the snow. It was one of the best vacations we'd ever taken. Thank you Don and Kate for sharing your lovely home. Highly recommend!

The cabin was amazing and we had a wonderful time. I would definitely stay here again. Lots of space for multiple families to enjoy some time in the mountains.

Was a beautiful place to stay, easy to find, clean, organized, perfect for a little trip away for 4. Hosts were helpful & attentive during a snowstorm that hit xmas day. We look forward to a stay there again in the future for sure!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit while staying at Stacy’s cabin! The location was great and the cabin was beautiful and the amenities were perfect for what we needed. The cabin is very well maintained and very clean and cozy! Stacy was very quick and responsive whenever we reached out to her. We even left an item after checking out and Stacy is sending it to us. We loved our time staying here and would 100% recommend the cabin!

We loved our stay in the cabin! Right on the lake, tons of snow to play in and close to sledding hills and trails. The beds were very comfortable, house cozy, and kitchen really well stocked. WiFi was great - good enough to do work zoom calls. The windows and views are amazing. We could have stayed here for a long time. It was such a light, welcoming place. Loved it, and we want to come back in the summer now. And host was very responsive and accommodating. Thank you!!

Charming place to stay in the best spot, just at the edge of Winthrop. Walk the bridge to the trail, walk the town or drive to any number of amazing spots in the valley, all knowing that you're coming home to a charming little apartment where you can relax, cook, unwind, etc.

Great place to stay... We were there in early January and used it as our base for going to Loup Loup, Twist, and Winthrop. Cabin setting is awesome. Driveway could be challenging without 4wd. First time I have ever had to chain up our Sequoia was getting up the driveway on our last day after it had snowed all night. However, there is an upper parking area that I could have used to avoid the situation. It would have meant hauling all of our stuff a few hundred feet up a steep snowy driveway, which sounded like more work than just putting on chains. As mentioned the cabin itself is awesome and there's good snow play for kids right on site, which we did plenty of. Brewster itself was underwhelming this time of year, so we made the hour plus trek into the Methow Valley most days, which was doable, but further than ideal. Cabin was well stocked with everything you'd expect and everything worked well. Jessica was super responsive and very welcoming. Would recommend.

While Stevens Pass received 25 inches of snow we had only a few inches on top of what was already on the ground. This made it beautiful for us at the house to enjoy and easy get around when we weren't skiing in the powder at the resort. The house is laid out well. We were able to see the lunar eclipse from the hot tub!

The cabin is very nice. It is thoughtfully decorated, has comfortable beds and linens, a well-stocked kitchen, good Wi-Fi, and quiet, and is in a stunning setting on a riverbank. Raye is super responsive. If it is your first time to Stehekin - and you plan to get around vs. staying at the cabin- you might want to organize some transportation if you want to get around, esp when it is 95+F, intermittently smokey. The ATV provided is only permitted to be used to get to the cabin when you arrive and back to the harbor when you depart. The bakery is only 0.5 miles away but the lake is 2.5 miles and the ranch is 7 miles. There is one set of trails (Rainbow loop) across from the cabin but the others are at the ranch - (lake trails are currently closed due to Pioneer fire 2024). There is a shuttle but it only runs 4x/day and you have to time it well on your return from the trails. No cell service.

This place is exactly as described. you will not be disappointed.

I really appreciated the simplicity of the place, and the minimalist treatment of this wild spot. Felt lucky to be there when it snowed. Advisable to make a simple map or take screenshots to refer to, to help find it if arriving after dark. This is a very special area in increasingly rare native sageland habitat. Tread lightly and enjoy.

Almhutte is a beautifully cozy and clean cabin nestled in the hills with an absolutely spectacular view. Kathryn has curated a space that feels like a home away from home and has everything you could need in a rental cabin. The house is perfect for families, with flexible sleeping spaces and a variety of fun things to keep the kids occupied when we weren’t out exploring the beautiful area. Kathryn provided thoughtful touches like bottled drinking water and great local recommendations for hikes in the area. One of the highlights was soaking in the crystal clean hot tub under a canopy of stars on our last night there. We would love the opportunity to come back to Almhutte for another visit!

Amazing log cabin in a beautiful location right off of the cross country trials and close to downhill at Stevens.

We absolutely loved our stay at this clean and cozy home. The location was great, its close to town yet not right downtown. The home is exactly as described in the listing and had everything needed for a peaceful stay. We were able to play outside, cook our meals, and play games as a family during our stay. Thank you so much for hosting us during our stay in Leavenworth, we had an amazing time.

If you're looking for the perfect nature escape, this place has it all! Beautiful rolling, rocky hills, trees, foliage, wildlife and water... you honestly can't ask for more! In addition to the property being everything we dreamed of, Jovan and Bob were so hospitable and friendly, showing us the expansiveness of the property which was something incredible to see, it's absolutely beautiful. Really hope to come back and disconnect soon!

We enjoyed our second trip here for my birthday weekend with the whole family! Breathtaking views, peaceful area and not too far from Chelan! All-in-all a fantastic way to celebrate!
