We loved our stay and hope to return. The place is super cute and comfy—loved all the little touches that were put in place to make us feel comfortable.

Great space for 2 adults and 2 small kids. Our toddler felt “at home” and we loved not having to pack toys and baby items for our trip!

An absolutely amazing place to stay! We were after somewhere to relax and this was perfect. The property had plenty of space for all of us to spread out, was very comfortable and the view was stunning! We wish we'd had longer to explore some of the recommended local attractions and will definitely return if in the area again.

My partner and I couldn’t have had a more positive stay at Phil’s cabin. It’s as described, sitting right on the edge of Lake Superior. We are cozy, nature-loving homebodies, so this was a stellar getaway. At the timing of this review, we stayed 3 nights in early off-season March 2025 (chilly, with heavy snowfall on our last day) which saw several weather changes that only enhanced the natural surrounding atmosphere. The cabin is close to Split Rock Lighthouse and 20 minutes to Two Harbors proper, with plenty to see and do. If not going out to the café, brewery, or state park, we were bundling and idling indoors quietly admiring a very clean, plentiful cabin with working amenities. Phil and Emily were transparent hosts in ensuring we were set up with a cozy, accomodating experience and (to go without saying) very respectful of our privacy. We arrived with a scenic, humble getaway in mind and they absolutely delivered. We hope we can visit again in the near future. Thank you so much!

Beautiful and peaceful place made for a great vacation. I would definitely return and also recommend this place to family and friends or anyone looking for a peaceful and lovely getaway to the North Shore!

I had a wonderful stay here! Patty checked in throughout the stay to make sure I had everything I needed or if I had any questions. The apartment was nice and cozy with everything I needed after a couple of long days hiking. I loved that it was in walkable distance to places around Two Harbors as well!

Kelly’s place was perfect for our annual ski trip weekend with our group of friends. Bedrooms for each couple, comfortable spaces, spacious, and very clean and tidy. Plus very close to Spirit Mountain. The price we paid was a steal to host all of us for the weekend. Would definitly book again in the future!

This was our second year at this place. We've been very happy with it. Lots of room, very clean, well-stocked, everything works. Nice location - a bit secluded, but still close enough to Canal Park, etc. We've used it as a base for birding at Sax-Zim Bog. Good communications with Amanda. Can't think of any drawbacks. We would definitely recommend it.
