Emily’s place was great! The cabin had everything we needed or might need. Things like lots of lights, (including by the bed), a power strip by the bed so you don’t have to search for an outlet and plenty of pillows and blankets. A huge dvd selection with something for everyone. Probably one of the best equipped places I’ve stayed at. The dog pen is really nice addition. We stayed in the snowy winter, so we didn’t get to utilize the treehouse or exterior places.

The cottage is located on a beautiful property, wooded, with an inviting set of garden plots and farm fields. The owner is extremely kind and gracious. Added bonuses were the chickens roaming about and the small goat herd adjoining. The cottage itself is warm, inviting, impeccably maintained, and private. You can tell immediately the care these people put into their guests' experiences. My son and I went for a beautiful hike 5 minutes away, in Badfish Creek Wildlife area. Cannot think of a better experience or a more perfect place to let go and take in peace, rural beauty and restorative tranquility.

Beautiful location. Must try if you like a peaceful farm stay.

Had a fun weekend at hygge. 5 min to Birkie Trailhead, beautiful white pine (pinus strobus) surrounding the cabin, super efficient space, cute. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic hosts with fantastic little cabin. Absolutely loved my stay. Super cozy and warm during the coldest snap of the year! Would be even better in the summer with the beautiful location, outdoor amenities, and classic cabin on the lake!

This place was incredible for us. Our experience reminded me of what Airbnb used to be. Lovable quirks, unique spot, friendly and fun hosts, and an experience you couldn’t get anywhere else. The kitchen was beautiful! Trails right out the door. What else could you want? Thanks for everything!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful. Everything was as described and the touch of Birthdays girls favorite banana bread was perfect for a 40th Birthday surprise. Thank you both for the hospitality!

This has been one of our favorites and I’ve stayed in many. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The cabin was really cozy and very clean got a small snow storm while we’re there and it was a warm place to watch out the window. Would definitely be back and would recommend to anyone. Plus they have cute animals!

This place was so so lovely! We really appreciated the careful attention to small details (the host left very detailed, carefully thought out instructions for everything, the pellet fireplace was already filled for us, they had delicious coffee and an assortment of teas, the kitchen was stocked with everything we might’ve needed, and they left us goat treats which we had so much fun feeding the goats). It was an incredibly serene stay.

I had a great stay! The place was squeaky clean, bright, good temperature, and the candles smelled amazing. the animals were an added bonus! ellie is the sweetest and the cats made an appearance on my front porch on my last day. the goats are also incredibly cute. there are a ton of amenities - wonderful shampoo/conditioner, backup toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, medicine, and first aid at your disposal! the sunset was mesmerizing and, as someone who lives in the city, the stars were to die for. i didn’t ever want to leave that bed, it was incredibly comfy! they even had a sound machine and ear plugs if you wanted it. Cid, the groundskeeper, is absolutely wonderful and we had some great chats! i highly recommend this place if you want a slice of serenity. i will say the road is hard to see and i did blow past it at first, but other than that it was a 5 star stay! definitely coming back!!!!!

We had a fabulous trip! We wanted a little getaway from Chicago for an anniversary celebration. This is the CUTEST A-Frame cabin in town. Gorgeous finishes and amazingly large shower with two rain heads upstairs. We absolutely loved the hot tub, pergola and the setup in the cabin. We saw beautiful stars at night and a family of deer. We’re excited to come back again and use the fireplace! The main floor bed was incredibly comfortable, soft linens, great pillows as well. Thank you for having us! We will be back

My boys and I really enjoyed spending our Christmas at Dockside. The place was clean, equipped with everything we needed and peaceful. We plan to visit again in the summer to really get the Dockside experience. Peter was a responsive and great host.

Sweet spot, near enough to La Crosse, but not too near. Had everything we needed. Clean and well equipped.

This suite was beautiful. The perfect and private night away for my boyfriend’s birthday. The horses were friendly and hung out with us as we relaxed in the hot tub, very cool. We also enjoyed s’mores by the fire since it is finally warming up outside. There are beautiful views and Melanie is great about if we needed anything. Our favorite part was checking out the moon and stars from the hot tub. Thank you!

Amazing stay! We wanted to get away from the city for a long weekend and Dylan’s family is from the Superior area. It was great being on the flowage and so private! We went to Superior and Duluth on Friday and ice fished on the flowage Saturday. Caught my first Northern and Dylan won a 6 person ice fishing shack. Check in and check out were so easy and Eric and Shelby were so flexible and responsive. We had an additional afternoon so we figured we’d ask for an extra day at the beginning of our stay and they were able to accommodate! Will definitely be back - next time in the summer. ☺️

The place was awesome! Small but felt bigger and had everything I needed. It was well stocked, including all the toiletries I needed It was exactly as described & its location, just a few blocks from Lake Pepin, was beautiful. Charles was a great host, and the chickens running around were a bonus. Dog friendly & my dog had lots of space to run around outside. I am definitely going back & recommend it to anyone who is visiting the area.

I couldn’t be more pleased with my stat. Tara was a great host. The place was clean, comfortable, and cozy. She made sure to inform what navigation to use as others in the past did not get them to the location. I definitely recommend booking with Tara for anyone considering.

We truly loved our short New Years stay. We are intrigued by container homes and were completely blown away at the level of quality in which the home was built. The most comfortable beds we’ve slept in and a great peaceful quiet area. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy your home!

Jared’s place as amazing! My husband, dogs and I stayed for a few days just to escape and it was just what we needed. Beautiful cabin, amazing scenery and lovely to get out in nature. The neighborhood was so quiet and there were no neighbors on site. Our dogs loved the river and we loved the quiet. Highly recommend.

I have stayed at Echo Valley every year the past few years during hunting season. It’s always been fantastic. Recently brought my wife and 1.5 year old daughter to check it out.
