We really enjoyed our stay at The Love Shack. Great property, on the lake yet fairly private and our host, Jennifer was great to deal with. Very happy and we plan to go back again sometime soon.

Absolutely perfect Texan retreat! The location was great, the house was spotless, and the views of the lake were breathtaking, especially watching the sunrise in the morning. The host was incredibly accommodating and responded quickly to any questions. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Mary and Michelle were great hosts! They were kind and attentive! The place was just like the listing and it was very cozy. The bed was super comfortable and the place had all of the necessities needed. I 10/10 recommend staying here if anyone is looking for a quiet, cute and quaint place tucked away from the hustle and bustle. I will for sure consider staying here again if I’m ever in the area visiting my friends. ❤️

I absolutely loved my stay on the farm and highly recommend this place. I like to getaway to the countryside every few months. I typically stay at private cabins and this was my first guesthouse stay. I was a little unsure about it - however it is private and very peaceful The weekend was cold and rainy so I spent the time inside but was still able to see and at times hear the cows. There was a pretty good Texas sized storm the first night there and it was absolutely beautiful being able to see and hear it from there. You can see for miles. The house has everything you need - I never left the property during my stay. It is super comfortably and homey. Also - if you love books, you may not want to leave! Tabitha and Priscilla are extremely responsive as well.. The storm knocked out the wifi and they had me on another network promptly. On my leave, my car wouldn't start. They helped me get my car going without hesitation and it was truly appreciated.

My family and I stayed at Jessica's place for part of Spring Break to just get away. The house was clean, which is important to me. Her kitchen had everything that we needed. The house had that welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. The lake was beautiful! She had kayaks, a pedal boat and lots of games that we enjoyed. We basically lived outside on the patio watching the kids fish and kayak. It was the best unwind few days. We will definitely come back for sure!

We have stayed at several airbnbs over the years and this was the best one by far. Such wonderful hosts, so friendly and welcoming. The loft is absolutely amazing, the kids loved the airplanes! I am so thankful I found this gem while searching for a location to attend Southlake Gymnastics 1st T&T Invitational at their new gym in Rhome, Tx. I really loved this trip and would stay here again without hesitation.

Brian, Meredith and Sydney have played a HUGE role in making sure our wedding day was PERFECT! They have been so pleasant since day 1. We fell in love with their beautiful property the moment we toured it first and since then our interaction with them has been nothing but amazing! The Airbnb itself is BEAUTIFUL, super spacious and very comfortable. We stayed there the night of our wedding reception and it is honestly better than the pictures! My groom had a lovely time getting ready in the super updated master bathroom! The kitchen area is so spacious and perfect to hangout with some coffee or wine!

Loved staying here! Her place was nice, clean and everything we could have wanted in an Airbnb! If I’m back in town I’ll definitely be staying here again!

Clean comfortable place to stay. Nothing fancy but everything you need

Very cute room, a tad larger than a typical hotel room. The tub has JETS! Being on the square gave plenty of eating options. The main downside to the suite is the parking. It doesn't say anywhere in the listing that there is no dedicated parking for the suites, but it's posted everywhere inside that unless you park in one of the parking lots outside of the square, you will be towed. As long as you get there at the right time, we had no problem parking in the parking lot west of the building behind Sweetie Pies Ribeyes. If you arrive at night, the street lights aren't bright to help you find a lot nearby. We loved the amenity of a small kitchenette with a hot plate and pots/pans, but there aren't any cooking utensils, so you have to use silverware on nonstick, which is nerve racking. Be sure to Pack light or you will have some long trips back and forth, as you access the unit by stairwell only. Overall, we had a great experience here and would come back if we're ever in the area again!
