We loved it! Great place to relax after rafting. Would recommend for star gazing as well! The Perseids shower peaked the day we left, but we were able to see some crazy beautiful shooting stars on our last night. It was amazing :) Would definitely come back!

Gorgeous spacious home, no joke about the views. We absolutely loved this place for our elopement and trip. The game room, the deck, the fire pit and patio, there is so much to do just at the house alone and of course in our favorite little town of Kernville. Thank you again Lisa and Ryan for allowing us to exchange our private vows at Moonpine. We can’t wait to share our photos!

Perfect place to stay with our adult kids & grandkids! Such a beautiful cabin in a lovely location! Our grandkids loved the extras - the teepee to sleep in, toys, books, & fun play equipment outside. The walk down to the lake is amazing. The house is clean and well stocked! Perfect place to make memories!

We were looking for a peaceful family getaway and it was perfect. This is our second stay at one of Tamar's properties. The cabin is cozy and pet friendly with everything you need including a crate for our 2 dogs. My husband is 6'5 and this is the first place we've stayed where he can fit comfortably in the tub and stand at the kitchen counters without crouching down. The view is so beautiful. You can see so much up there. The hot tub was clean, warm, and easy to use. We were sad we had to go. The barn location is amazing as well. Added to our go to locations when we need to get away from the city.

We had an enjoyable, relaxing time at Shelby's place in Alta Sierra, a wooded area only a few minutes, but a world away, from Lake Isabella. It is a great place to escape the summer heat, with lots of beautiful cedars and little creeks and springs and an abundance of wildlife. The neighborhood is filled with older classic family cabins, and Shelby's was comfortable, well-stocked and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed all of the prints and paintings and touches of nature that decorated the cabin. The bed was very comfortable with soft, high quality linens. We were able to completely unwind with the absence of the internet, and we relaxed to the sound of the breeze blowing through the tall trees and the singing of the many birds. One morning we watched a doe and 2 fawns stop to drink from the spring on the property. And in case we got bored (which we did not as there is so much to do nearby) the cabin has many games, records and a record player, and DVDs and books.

I had a wonderful two-day stay at this beautiful mountain retreat! The house was spotless, well-maintained, and had a warm, inviting atmosphere. The highlight of our stay was the stunning creek with its breathtaking, raging rapids—such a peaceful and mesmerizing sight. The hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene getaway in nature. I would definitely stay here again!

This property was an amazing space for my friends and I to enjoy the lake! I think it's the best spot in the entire area to relax and enjoy all that the lake has to offer. Deborah was extremely helpful and kind! We will definitely be coming back here soon.
