Beautiful little place, perfect for a couple. It's thoughtfully decorated, well put together, very cozy, and had everything we needed. Nice back deck, and coffee/ice cream/brewery in walking distance. Wonderful spot, we enjoyed our entire stay. But the biggest perk is the location. I've been coming to RRG for over 15 years and you will not find a better Airbnb location if you want all the main hikes to be as close as they can be. So the location is amazing, but the whole place is great too! Highly recommend.

I booked this place for my climbing club for our spring break climbing trip to red river gorge. We had seven people stay in the house and there was plenty of space for everyone. It was a really nice and cozy place to stay and very affordable which was a huge plus for us because we were all college students. There were no problems with staring here and we had no complaints. This place definitely deserves five stars.

Caytie and Matt are dream hosts. As a host myself, I appreciated their open-communication, generosity, and thoughtfulness. The cottage is in a prime RRG location. It’s quiet and serene. We love to hike all over the Gorge, and the cottage is about 15-30 mins from all of our favorite hikes. The cottage is fully stocked with all you will need to cook breakfast, lunch, or dinner from seasonings to dish soap. Bathrooms are stocked with toilet paper and soaps. The beds are comfortable and the cottage fit our family of five perfectly. Don’t worry about packing toys for the kids - they stock them! And the outdoor area is so great with a ninja course, hammock, and grills. Our kids loved catching newts at the pond. Caytie’s design and style is so welcoming. The hot tub was lovely. Thank you, Caytie and Matt! Memories for a lifetime! We will be back! :)

Great place for the price and was well stocked with everything that could have made a great stay plus a responsive and friendly host

Elizabeth’s place is truly one of a kind. From the moment we arrived, it felt like home to all 12 of us—a rare and special feeling when traveling with a large group. The space was warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully put together. Elizabeth went above and beyond, staying responsive and accommodating every step of the way, which made our stay smooth and stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’re already hoping to return next year—it wouldn’t feel right going anywhere else!

We loved celebrating my sister’s 50th birthday here! It was actually very spacious for five people and had a massive, comfy couch perfect for a relaxed weekend! The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The hosts were super responsive when the power went out briefly and we had an issue with the toilet. There is only one shower which wasn’t a problem for us. The only downside was the cell reception is non-existent out there, but the WiFi always worked. Overall, we had a great trip and would definitely come back!

Don’t question it, just book it! As my teen and tween daughters say, this place is “so aesthetic!” The kitchen has everything you can imagine, the linens and pillow choices are great, the outdoor spaces are thoughtfully decorated. We absolutely loved our stay. I would just caution families with younger kids (aged 4 and under) to take a look at the stairs to make sure they would be good with those.

Overall a positive experience. The interior has been nicely remodeled and was very comfortable for a family of five. The kitchen was well supplied and the hosts were very responsive to our questions.
