We had the most amazing stay at the lodge. It was so beautiful inside and out we were blown away by how lovely it was. Kate was an amazing host really friendly and helpful with directions and local recommendations. When we arrived at the property there was cookies, chocolates and wine waiting for us and a ballon as it was my partners birthday this was all a surprise it was such a lovely touch. We will definitely be back as we loved it so much x

We had an impromptu stay at Jessica’s place. We arrived at night and whilst we knew we were at the right place, Jessica was on hand to confirm and to welcome us to park on her drive. The hut is placed to the side of their home with a little walk through the garden to get there. The hut was just what we needed, spotlessly clean, ability to make food, tea and coffee and with a lovely open space with a bed so you can choose to watch Netflix or the beautiful log burn fire up! Or both! Jessica was so responsive and positive, providing us additional logs for our stay. Not really a downside but something to note, the toilet door is on sliders so make sure you’re staying with someone you feel comfortable with! Also the lights in the bathrooms are on sensors but you can turn the electric off to those by the fuse board if they cause you a problem. Very very happy with our stay and highly recommend ❤️

My daughter's and I really enjoyed our short Easter break. The location was so peaceful and beautiful. A much needed retreat from Birmingham. We made full use of the wonderfully relaxing hot tub. We enjoyed a meal out at The Ship Inn and several walks along the river. We took a walk to The Severn Valley Visitors Centre and caught the steam train back from the Country Park Halt. A lovely afternoon out. We recommend this Airbnb and hope yo visit again in the future.

Peaceful location with beautiful views. Penny stocked us up with plenty of wood for the fire so we had a perfectly cosy couple of nights. Definitely would recommend

This was a beautifully renovated apartment with character decorations. We chose it because there were 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. 1 "family" bathroom with a shower and a rolltop type bath- toiletries were provided, adjacent to the first room and an ensuite on this floor. Up the "spiral" wooden staircase was another ensuite and the living room/ kitchen area. The living room was comfortable Next was a dining table and benches .There was a log burner but we struggled with this despite the extensive instructions, being unfamiliar with it. The kitchen had lots of storage , spice racks, a washing machine and a large fridge freezer. I never figured out the coffee machine. There was crockery and basic kitchen utensils although I would liked to have had a roasting dish and casserole dish for cooking. Great to have a dishwasher. We had problems with the heating (despite following the instructions) which Darren came to sort out as soon as we contacted him,

Perfect place for busy couples wanting to get away and switch off from the outside world. We loved having no WiFi or electric plugs as it allowed us to enjoy each others company without interruptions from the outside world. Location is absolutely stunning and a big positive is just how private it is. Only interactions we had were seeing lots of horses and enjoying the sound of donkeys. We received recommendations for local pubs/restaurants, we went to the Cock Inn and the food was amazing. Host gave very clear instructions which made it easy to find the location. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

We had the best stay in the pod. The views were beautiful and it was the perfect place to disconnect. We loved the natural pool and hot tub and the pod was lovely and cosy a night. What a place to wake up to! Thank you and we hope to return

Duck’s Crossing Cottage felt homely immediately and throughout our stay. Relaxing and beautiful surrounding in the lovely village of Egginton. The house and garden are spacious and well equipped. People in the village are very friendly. We look forward to staying here again in the near future. Many thanks Ros :)
