This house was such a good find! Tucked away in a beautiful wooded area that is beautifully maintained, the house itself is beautifully decorated and very roomy. So much to enjoy inside and outside! The kitchen had everything a cook would desire. The beds were comfortable and the linens were great quality. The soaker tub, well that thing is more like a pool for 2 but I’m not complaining. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a break from the noise. I am already planning my next visit! The pictures do not encompass all that this house is. Book it!

The place was amazing as described and the house was extremely clean and well decorated with all high-end decors. The sunroom was amazing with the lake views. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The host Lisa is very sweet she was very instant in replying back. And the manager Alisha was also very friendly and very nice. Looking forward to booking this place again in the near future.

Highly enjoyed this place and hope we can book some time in the future. The place was absolutely clean and smelt great. They had everything you need to make your food and coffee I came here to relax and fish there was a pond directly out your back door from the bottom bedroom and I loved that as a fisherman caught 6 bass and 1 catfish and son caught a bluegill. There’s also another pond that’s where the playground and the pier you can drive to. Definitely 5 stars

My family of 7 stayed at this place for 2 days and we did not have to leave to get anything. There were pots and pans for us to cook the groceries we brought. Coffee and creamer was already there. There was even seasonings and a first aid kit!! My kids loved the bunk room. It had everything kids need to stay entertained. It was raining the first day we arrived but there was so much entertainment in the house that it didn’t matter. We swam in the pool, went fishing, and played games all in the backyard!! If you’re second guessing this place, don’t! Treat yourself and don’t cheat yourself! This place is a little piece of paradise! We would definitely stay again!!

Sam’s house was beautiful and clean. It had everything we needed to feel right at home for the week we stayed. He was super helpful and quick to respond to questions. I wish all of my experiences with Airbnb were this great and easy!!

Lisa was very responsive when needed. The house is very clean and cozy. There are multiple boat ramps within a few miles. I’m not 100% positive there was not power at the dock but I couldn’t find a place to plug in the boat after daily use. But no harm… we enjoyed our stay very much!

We came here for a couple nights while on a family trip. Overall, we definitely enjoyed ourselves. If you want to see the lake you have to walk or drive at least a quarter mile which isn’t bad. As far as cleanliness is concerned, the house could stand a good cleaning. It wasn’t very clean but we still had a great stay and enjoyed ourselves. The yard wasnt kept up but someone came and mowed it while we were gone one day. Overall, a really cute little place to stay.

First of all the house was large enough for our needs. My parents live close by, but have a small house and we had our family, my sister's family, and parents to accommodate for Christmas. Our adult children came with boyfriends and girlfriends, so the group grew exponentially. I did not realize the house sits on a wedding venue, but it was perfect for us. We were able to sit everyone around the dining room table. Living room was spacious and comfortable. (Bonus) The Barn was beautiful, the chapel and game room were also great and a lake to fish in, awesome. I was able to bring my dogs, and they actually have real kennels on the property. The pool area is fenced, house has tile and hard wood floors, all essential. Angela was a great host, she responded quickly, provided information, even tried to help us locate some tamales. Gave us the tour of the venue and made sure we knew where everything was. Fantastic stay, would definitely do it again in two years.

this was a great place especially if your there for lake fort fishing. The lake is 5 minutes away and the pond was great.I will do it again soon.

The only problem we had was the internet . It was not working at all when we arrived and Chris tried to fix it but it still was in and out The house was beautiful and cozy. Our grandchildren lived only 15 minutes away I would stay again

Great place!

My husband & I brought both our families out here for our wedding weekend. It was amazing. With two houses, it was perfect for both families to have plenty of space . There was pool, pickleball, volleyball and badminton. We always had lots to do. We enjoyed being so close to the water. It was a wonderful weekend and I hope to bring our families back out here one day.😊

What a great place to stay while visiting for a fishing trip!!

The place was perfect, everything super clean, neat, and comfortable. The screened-in porch is perfect to enjoy the weather -and pleasant night sounds!- while keeping the bugs away. Fantastic place to unwind and relax. The hosts (Jessica and Chris) are the kindest and nicest people you can find. We visited in April when there were wildflowers blooming everywhere, which made for scenic walks to the lake and around the 2-mile perimeter path around the property. You will love your stay at their spacious place.

One of the best family vacations we have had! We enjoyed coffee on the beautiful deck overlooking the lake every morning. During the day our whole family played in the lake on the foam float, kayak, paddle board and paddleboat. The dock was a huge hit with the kids as we spent a great deal of time fishing, feeding the ducks and turtles. At night we made s’mores over the fire pit by the lake. We felt like this was our own private lake most days with the beautiful smooth water. Brent and J.C. are the best hosts and we can’t wait for our next trip here!

We loved staying at Kim’s place. Family came for Thanksgiving and really had a great time. Kitchen was well stocked and made it easy to cook a Thanksgiving meal. We were able to fish off the dock. Kim was just such a joy to talk to as well. We already plan to book again and want to come back out in the summer to enjoy the lake even more. Truly a relaxing retreat

The best Airbnb I have stayed in. So many amenities like records and a record player. It is super relaxing listing to the night critters next to a camp fire. I booked this trip to get away from downtown Dallas, it gave me everything I need. They own an antique store in Winnsboro where all guests get a discount. Such great living out here, will 100% be back. THANK YOU!

The house was very clean and has everything we needed. It has lots of room for parking. It also had a great dock for fishing! It is a little bit of a walk from the house to the dock.

We came here for the seclusion and the fishing! Beautiful place, very secluded and peaceful. The largemouth in these lakes were unbelievable. We will be back.

This property was beautiful! Nikki exuded excellent customer service! She was very responsive and checked in with us throughout our stay! She went above and beyond to ensure all of our concerns were addressed! The icing on the cake was when Nikki was very accommodating with rearranging our stay due to an unexpected change in my surgery date. Thank you for a great stay, Nikki!

Was a great private secluded location great for a little family or a stay to visit family. Very clean and accommodating house hold utensils, and cookware will be booking again for the next trip down. Thanks for being such an amazing HOST!!!

Lakeside Retreat was perfect for our stay. We are familiar with the community it is in, so we were aware that it is close knit style, but it was still private and peaceful. A short walk to the lake for the sunset. The back porch was great to sit on and watch the sunrise. We have family close by so we will likely rent again.

We had a family reunion of 20 people from multiple states! This place was perfect and had plenty of space for us all! Private dock and boat ramp were great for swimming and fishing! Beautiful, open space outdoors for playing games or just enjoying the view! Pool table was a definite plus! We will definitely be back!
