Julie is an outstanding host! This house is perfect for any getaway. It was clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and STUNNING outdoor area with a gorgeous pool. This is 3 FULL baths and 1/2 bath!! Two kitchens! Two family rooms! You had space! It made you want to relax! The kitchen was well stocked with any utensil or appliance you would need. It was private. You could really escape and get away. Woodbury and the surrounding towns were jampacked with things to do. There were many places to choose from to eat. Such a variety from steak, seafood, pizza, and American fare pubs and other specialty restaurants. Lots of variety/antique shops, flea market, wine/liquor stores, convenience stores. Just a short drive into Southbury you find more shops, antiques, restaurants, bigger, grocery store, etc. We also drove to a few other neighboring towns. All under 45 minutes. Friendly people! We had a wonderful time! Price is fabulous, house/outdoor area is A+ value! Thank you Julie!!

Great location and generally pretty quiet, and a comfortable spot on the water. Our visit was in late Feb, so the lake was frozen over which provided some interesting exploration opportunities. The house was probably the cleanest I've ever experienced through Airbnb, so a major plus there. Would visit again!

My family and I stayed at the Boulder Lake House Retreat during the holiday season. It served as a great home base to spend time with family and was a short drive to downtown Madison, CT and Hammonasset State Park. The space was perfect for our family, in great shape and beautifully decorated. The view from the kitchen was beautiful; even in winter we enjoyed looking out over the frozen lake. All rooms were updated and had great amenities, including rainfall shower heads and foam mattresses. Jhismery was a great host and was very responsive! Hope to be back in the future!

This was the perfect weekend getaway - the house is cozy and beautiful, the neighborhood was lovely, had incredible views and offered so much to see and do. The fireplace was amazing, great kitchen with everything you need and the host was highly communicative and helpful. I can't wait to return!

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend time with our family and enjoy the Litchfield area! Perfectly clean home, beautiful property, stylish and comfortable! We had everything we needed to do some light cooking, Kevin and Jerry quickly answered questions and gave great suggestions. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The Farmhouse was very cozy and clean. Communication was great and Chelsea was very accommodating, as I was traveling with two small children and the schedules can be tricky. The property was beautiful and the house had everything we needed. The only thing that could be improved would be curtains in the bedrooms. As soon as the sun came up you are up. Very bright. But overall I would stay here again.

This was our second stay. It is a lovely home, with a really charming interior in a stunning woodland location. The amenities are great, a super kitchen for cooking as a family & great bathrooms. Thank you for accommodating us Erin.

Pamela's home was so wonderful we didn't want to leave! We were able to enjoy a lovely Valentine's Day weekend and felt right at home. The beds were comfy and everything was spotless. A beautiful space that we hope to visit again!

The location and comfort can’t be beat. We stayed at the professor’s flat for a full semester while I was teaching at Yale and it was perfect for a couple and a cat. We even had a couple of friends visit and stay over comfortably during that time. We truly lived in the place like it was our home, because it felt like it: it was cozy, and despite a smaller kitchen than we’re used to, it was well equipped, and we were able to cook a lot and even host dinner parties. It’s very conveniently located to everything in New Haven/the East Rock neighborhood & we walked everywhere. Also very convenient to the freeway. A parking spot was included in our rent as well. Remy, Hilary and Sal were always responsive and ready to take care of anything that needed attention. Remy also gave us and all the tenants extras like baked goods, and samples of her great Italian cooking on occasion (around the holidays). They also gave us fire logs for the fireplace we used our entire last month in town.

Enjoyed my stay! First time visiting Bridgeport & I’ll definitely be back! Cozy cute comfortable spot!

This was my second stay in less than two months at Wilson’s place. My family and I enjoy the ability to park our rental, separate TV watching spaces for each bedroom, and separate sleeping areas. The house is now my home away from home after staying at several others since bringing my daughter to college here; but Wilson & Co-host Jaime are amazing! Always super responsive not automated messages, very clean and comfortable living space, and well Stocked with key essentials and good location off 95 making it easy to go to Little Italy, Yale shops and well known tourist sites and restaurants. Corner house off busy street but at night you hear nothing. Great window coverings and having 2 full baths are essential. I highly recommend this space and the great hosts. This is my new home away from home after a second successful trip!

Our Christmas stay at Janice’s was perfect! My partner and I needed a place to stay while visiting family for holidays. The suite was very clean and cozy. We really enjoyed the not one but TWO gas fireplaces! Janice also had a small artificial Christmas tree in the living room which made it so festive and the perfect place for us to rest and watch Christmas movies after days with family. The bed was comfortable and had four pillows with extras in the closet along with extra blankets, an iron and board. Janice was flexible with our check in time and very friendly. The only negative we could think of was that we’d love to have a full kitchen and the suite just has a kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and toaster oven, but we knew that from the description and it was fine for a short stay. We’d love to stay here again. Really perfect for this trip.

Andy's place was impeccably clean and well-appointed. I cook most of my meals while traveling and the kitchen was well stocked with the basics (oils, spices, soy sauce, vinegar) and all the necessary cookware (including containers & wrap to store leftovers & prepped food items). It was the type of Airbnb that felt more like visiting the home of a friend who had thoughtfully considered anything you might need. (including detergent for laundry & toiletries). This was refreshing in light of many Airbnb's feeling more like a Residence Inn, than a home. As a bonus, Andy has excellent taste in books and I wished my stay was longer so I could have read some of what was on the shelves.

Can’t say enough good things about our stay in Yesenia’s cottage. Quite spacious - definitely enough for a family of 3-4 with a separate bedroom, large common/eating area and bathroom with a tub (essential for babies and toddlers!) Yesenia was so accommodating as well. When we told her that we’d be bringing our 20-month old, she volunteered to set up a pack and play for us. When we arrived, we also saw that some toys had been set out and extra diapers and wipes. So thoughtful! Our toddler also loved walking around the yard in the snow and greeting the friendly doggos. 10-15 minute drive to all of the local attractions, including Stamford.

We stayed at Juan's home for 2 weeks while renovations were being done on our home, which is very close to Juan's home. Juan is a fantastic host: extremely responsive and accommodating. The house itself is just as good - if not better - than the photos would have you believe. It is comfortable, clean, modern, and spacious. We were thrilled to be able to stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone considering booking it.

Our family had a very enjoyable stay! The home and surroundings were beautiful, everything was extremely clean and organized, our host was wonderful! We absolutely loved the tea ceremony! It was very educational! We will definitely stay here again when we return to New Haven!

This home is great for a family or two. Wonderful items in the large yard for children to play in, on and zip along. The side screened in porch is great for morning coffee or evening hangout. A chilly night, the gas fireplace is easy to work and adds a level of warmth to the great sitting area.

We cannot thank Dan enough for making our wedding weekend so special. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and kindness that immediately put us at ease. We were both overwhelmed with wedding plans and details, but Dan's calm and welcoming presence made all the difference. He took the time to show us around the space and genuinely made us feel at home. The property itself is absolutely stunning—beyond our expectations! The aesthetic is so beautiful, and it perfectly set the tone for our wedding weekend. Not only did it offer us the perfect space to relax before the big day, but it also accommodated our wedding party beautifully. Every corner of the home is thoughtfully designed and so comfortable, making it a place where we could unwind and feel at ease.
