We really enjoyed the time spent at Point Clear. The house was amazing, modern, huge bedrooms, clean, a lot of storage and modern kitchen. The outdoor space was well maintained, we enjoyed the hot tubs. Antonina was very helpful whenever we needed her. We will definitely come back.

For just the two of us this was a perfect choice for a peaceful ‘away from it all’ holiday break. We had plenty of room to spread out in this beautiful, and extremely well equipped home. Our special thanks to Graham & Jo for having it so well prepared, and for being very helpful with arrival & departure arrangements. This location is already a favourite of ours, with a wide variety of interesting places within a reasonably short distance. We are already looking for dates to go again !

We really enjoyed our stay at Anna's place. It has been finished to a very high standard and is very spacious. The house has beautiful views over looking a valley and benefits from a south west facing garden which gets the late sun. We would recommend the place to others.

We only have good things to say!!! Helen and family were so lovely and welcoming. We felt right at home, and what a gorgeous home! So many thoughtful touches and had everytbing we needed and more!! The sauna and natural pool were great fun, and it was so relaxing to have a fire on in the evening. This was the PERFECT setting for our group holiday (and perfect place for our celebration!). Also we would recommend booking Eva their daughter for a yoga session, it was incredible and very restorative. Have left the holiday feeling very grateful and restored! Thank you!!!

We had a lovely stay. The caravan was perfect and the beds super comfortable. The view was beautiful,the pictures dont do it justice. We were lucky with the weaher,it was lovely sitting on the decking in the beautiful Autum sunshine. Just wish we stayed longer. Thank you.

Spacious, very clean accommodation with all we needed. It was a comfortable set up for our long weekend. Very well located by the marina with many long walks for our dog but also close enough to restaurants, pubs and shops. A enjoyable stay.

Booked the lodge as a surprise for my best friend’s 40th birthday. Four of us in total, that don’t get to see one another often; and everything about this experience made it so special. Selina was so accommodating and flexible to our individual needs; kindly letting 2 of us access the lodge ahead of check-in time, to set up birthday banners & afternoon tea (ordered from No. 142 Cafe in Oulton Broad). The entire stay exceeded all expectations! The photos don’t really do it justice. The lodge is stylish, comfortable, and spotless. The double bedroom boasts its own access onto the spacious veranda, and such a lovely marina location. A fab bar/restaurant onsite too, which we enjoyed the next day.

Wow what a fantastic place , so chuffed with everything, masses of room for everyone, 100% recommend this place, you will love it, would love to return at some point . Thanks Clair for everything 👍👍👍

Had a lovely stay here. Found the rooms really spacious and comfortable. It’s a peaceful location yet near the city and has A12 access for a quick getaway. The coffee shop and Coop a few minutes walk away were also really handy for the morning boost and to shop.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at this beautiful home for Christmas to get the family together. The house is excellent…loads of space, light, comfortable and very well equipped. Having a bedroom each and four bathrooms was such a treat! All the rooms/beds were comfortable. The host couldn’t have been better - due to unexpected circumstances we asked to increase the stay by a day and they were really flexible and willing to oblige. We will definitely be booking again as and when we need to get the family together in Bury!

The place was nice, clean, and new. Easy communication and very flexible. If you're 8–10 people, the sleeping arrangements are fine, but the living room and kitchen with dining space are a bit on the small side—though this is not hidden in the pictures.

We had a wonderful stay at 1CC. Beautiful property in an amazing location. The cottage is so inviting whilst being spacious and cosy at the same time. The whole family loved it and can't wait to return. Loved all of Deb's fabulous artwork too.

All we could all say, was what a fantastic time we all had as a family! We truly felt at home and everything that we could need was catered for. Orford is a beautiful village nearby as well. We would definitely look at booking again. Thank you Katie, Sam and Tina.

We had a wonderful stay here. It was exactly as described. Perfect location with a lovely beach walk to the pier. Kids loved the bunk room and the toys and books were a great addition, along with some really nice extra touches. We normally stay on a caravan site when visiting clacton but this was such a lovely, relaxing alternative and I will definitely be booking again. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to come back. Xx

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Marcus ensured we were very well informed before arrival providing a guest book with comprehensive information and recommendations. We were greeted with bottles of wine & the house was very warm & music sound system set up. The barn is absolutely beautiful & immaculate. It is in a very remote area but this suited us all as we were happy to stay in and enjoy it. The log burner, games room & hot tub were added bonuses. A big thank you to Marcus for a truly amazing weekend break away with good friends ❤️

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely property which was in pristine condition. Very close to the university which was exactly what we needed for this visit. The free parking space round the back was super convenient. The house was well stocked with all the essentials and some luxuries too - a nice surprise. We'd like to thank our hosts for having the property ready for us in such a welcoming way. This was definitely one of the best places we've stayed at in Colchester in this price range, with lovely hosts too. We're looking forward to our next visit.

We stayed at Jo’s house to celebrate our daughter Emma’s 30th birthday. The 9 of us enjoyed a perfect family get together in a part of the country non of us were very familiar with but now love! I wanted beautiful surroundings and this house massively deliverers, we were all on a high for the whole weekend! The house, painted a beautiful Suffolk red, has the most lovely atmosphere. It is furnished extremely nicely with pictures, paintings and plenty of interesting books. The gardens, with beautiful box and topiary yew are superb and larger than I had imagined. As with inside the house there are different, almost secret areas, to enjoy on your own or with others. Our son and his American girlfriend played badminton.The huge swathers of daffodils were at their absolute peak and we loved the views of the estuary and enjoyed fantastic walks from the house in gloriously sunny weather. If you like birds in this peaceful area, there were many varieties including a tawny owl at night!

We had a lovely stay in this quirky, characterful house. The beds were very comfy and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. There was easy on-street parking. The really good thing was that the owner went above and beyond to sort out an issue we had. Many thanks for that David. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Our operatives enjoyed their stay at Andy's place, we extended our stay beyond the original term. Great host, great communication, would recommend.

We used Mairi's cottage as a base for a few days discovering the area of Melford and Lavenham. The house was very homely and comfortable. There are some improvements being made in the garden, but this did not impact on our stay. It was still nice to sit on the patio area, and enjoy the view. Mairi kept close communication with us, and informed us of anything we might to know. It was a lovely visit to the area.

We were 2 couples with 2 dogs & found the location excellent, the house wonderful & homely. The enclosed garden was so useful with the dogs. We were so impressed with the comfort of the house & it has to be the best equipped property any of us have stayed at. It is a real pleasure to be able to stay somewhere so lovely when having the dogs with us. Herve has thought of everything & as stated in the welcome book, all appliances were set up for ease of use & were a pleasure to use. Weather was kind enough that we sat in the rear garden watching & listening to the birds. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend & we will stay there again if available. Easy walk or short drive into Aldeburgh with its lovely shops, bars, cafes & restaurants. Thank you - we loved everything about this house!

Great place to stay, Linda wzs able to update the changes we needed straight away, and responded immediately. The lads were impressed with accommodation, it was very homely.
