I cannot say enough good things about this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully designed, and had all the amenities we needed for a perfect weekend getaway. Danna was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, making sure our stay was seamless. The space was not only stylish but also super comfortable—perfect for relaxing and spending quality time with family and friends for my daughter’s birthday. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus, and the surrounding nature made for a peaceful and refreshing escape. Every detail was well thought out, making this one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. If you’re considering booking this place, do it—you won’t be disappointed! We’ll definitely be back.

Although located on a winery that is open to the public, the cottage is spaced for privacy. We enjoyed the cottage so much. Beautiful and quaint property. Well furnished and extremely clean and comfortable. Perfect getaway spot for 2 with a great hot tub. The pool looks awesome as well but was not available during our stay as it was winter. Andrea communicated very clearly and is prompt when you message her. The location was great for our trip to Leesburg and Berryville. Definitely recommend this property.

One of the best air bnbs we have ever stayed at! The host personally shoveled and salted the driveway one morning so we would be able to get out and about. She was very responsive and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Vickie was a great host and pretty much though of everything! Communication was fast and easy. There were some additional small personal touches as well to welcome us to to her home. Location was great to Middleburgh, and the house was private, comfortable, and equipped with everything one could need. The house was very clean as well. Would rent again and highly recommend.

We’re locals, transitioning between homes— this was our second stint at here and it’s by far our favorite AirBnB rental in the area. The host is amazingly responsive, the home is absolutely perfect, and we had everything we needed for our stay. You won’t be disappointed with this pick!

This is our yearly spot to visit for our family beach trip, and it again did not disappoint. IMO this home provides one of the best values you will find, with a full kitchen, multiple bedrooms, and plenty of room to spread out. It is also walkable to the beach and restaurants, and the hosts treat us (and everyone) like family. Just book it and you won’t regret it!

Quiet and cozy home in the perfect location. We had a wonderful stay with beautiful views of the water (too cold in Feb to fully enjoy), and it was so convenient to be able to walk to local coffee shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our first stay in Colonial Beach and we absolutely loved every moment of it. The location is just a few blocks from the beach, numerous restaurants, the coffee shop, and two breweries. There was tons of live music around town each night. Our entire family - even the pup - settled right in. It felt like home. Andrea was amazingly communicative and proactive. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer weekend away!

Must love dogs! And bring yours!! ❤️ We had the most amazing and wonderful stay at Blue Crab Cottage the first week of February. The sunset picture, yes, it’s real, because I took it! Don’t wait for summer to book for a get away; it is perfect any time of year. We are local folks (20 miles away) who were getting our floors redone. My husband was able to telework perfectly from the cottage. I, on the other hand, had to commute to work and I was so sad to leave the cottage in the mornings. The cottage was super comfortable, well appointed, and the front porch is absolutely the BEST feature! ☺️ Our dogs loved the cottage and getting to know the neighborhood dogs who serve as ambassadors for the peninsula. Now, I gave “finding the place” 5 stars but this is ONLY if you actually follow Chris’ instructions and pictures, which my husband failed to do. 🤣 Chris and Lynda took amazing care of us; I can’t wait to return for a weekend to enjoy that river view - it is spectacular.

This is a charming old home in downtown Leesburg. There was plenty of room for our family of 6. Bedrooms were good sized and comfortable. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Street parking was easy to do, even though we had a large vehicle. There’s a great paved trail 3 blocks away for running/biking. Deanna and Stu are good hosts. They were able to help quickly when the water heater stopped working. It just needed a reset of a breaker on the unit. Overall a great stay.

Jennifer's home was the perfect location for our stay. Our niece's wedding was taking place at a nearby vineyard location and this home was situated right in the area. The home is very beautiful and welcoming. We all really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

I love this cottage!! I’ve stayed here a few times and the moment I walk in the door I’m relaxed. The sunsets are amazing!! It’s just the perfect place to get away.

This charming home was perfect for our holiday trip to Virginia. Leigh was a wonderful and accommodating host. Her home was clean and exceeded our expectations. The location was wonderful. Conveniently located near the water as well as being walking distance to a lovely coffee shop. Our family throughly enjoyed our time here & would highly recommend. If we return to Virginia we’d love to rebook!

This home is in perfect condition and in a great location. The problems in previous reviews seem to all have been addressed. It is a private guest house just a block from restaurants and shopping, but it is amazingly quiet. It is very close to the underground metro, and a round trip to DC is about $6 and 20 minutes. It was the perfect base of operations for our visit to DC. I wouldn't count on having someone sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. It is a black futon (not currently pictured) that is divided into four cushions, so it isn't flat. That said, our tweenager loved sleeping there. If you use it, unzip the back to pull the legs out so it doesn't tip over. The previous reviews, and the lack of pictures, had us worried about the shower, but it was fine. It is not a tub, but it does have a curtain, water pressure, and plenty of room. The shower head is high, so you could be 6'2" and not have to duck. We are very grateful for our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I go to Sue's place by myself for a personal/private retreat. The views are beautiful (even when it's raining or overcast), it's quiet, the area is easily walkable, and all the neighbors wave. I enjoy watching the water, whether from the couch, the porch, the deck, or from the bed in the master bedroom. Sue's home is always neat and uncluttered. Plenty of linens are available, there are no issues with having hot water, and the guest instructions are easy to navigate. Sue is also a fabulous host. She checks in with me before, during and after my stay and is very prompt in responding to communications. I recommend Sue's home to anyone interested in a peaceful get away - as long as you don't book the dates I want to go there before I do. :)

Our stay was amazing! Sherry was so sweet and responsive! The place was extremely clean and so nice! It was such a peaceful spot! We absolutely loved it!

The Little River Inn is charrming. The cottage is cozy—funished with beautiful antiques and oriental rugs. Mary Ann’s husband, Tucker fixed us a wonderful breakfast and shared the history of the inn’s historic buildings and stories of Aldie and nearby Middleburg. We throughly enjoyed our time here.
