We are local to the area and stayed at Andrews house while our home was being renovated. The space was perfect for our young family of four. The flex space worked perfectly as a play area for the kids and home office for me. While the owners live on the same property, it was large enough that we had our own privacy. Andrew and his family were very respectful of the space and never came over uninvited. There is a gate that requires manual opening to get in and out of the property which for a long term stay was frustrating but necessary to keep the chickens in. The property has a farm feel to it while still being close to the shops and freeway. We never had any issues with noise from the freeway or roosters as the house has double glazed windows. The highlight for us was the coffee machine and water pressure in the shower! We've since purchased the same coffee machine for our home, and we will forever miss the water pressure in the shower.

If I had to use one word to describe our stay it would be generous: Thank you so much for allowing us to use your lovely house as our base: It's gorgeous, roomy and homely. It's also well placed for getting around Melbourne. Griselda is also the most generous and responsive of hosts with lots of supplies for us when we arrived that were most were most welcome. The house is also very generous with all the space and things that make it feel like home. The house is much bigger than it appears on the photographs and has lots of different living areas internally and externally. We couldn't have been happier during our time here. It really was a home away from home for the weeks we have stayed. Thanks again and lovely to have visited:-))

Thanks for having us! after a hectic, cold weekend of Basketball Selena's house was warm and cosy to wind down. beds werensuper comfy, house was beautiful and we loved the addition of the cereal and coffee amenities. also the gas fire was amazing. everyone slept well and we just loved everything about your home. we will be back! thank you again. highly recommend!!

Tarni was an exceptional host, who made us feel right at home in her beautiful house, relaying the rich history of its past. Having ensuites for every bedroom was a treat, and breakfast served in the large dining room was a highlight!

Gorgeous old building with plenty of character in the perfect location for the international garden show! Karen’s studio has a great view of Carlton Gardens, is beautiful, restful with lovely breezes, and sooo many restaurants nearby (only a 5 minute stroll to Lygon street). A lovely cosy place to come home to. We had a wonderful visit, thank you!

This is the second time I’ve stayed at the piano factory and With no doubt Melinda and Steve insured the best hospitality and quick communication. Would recommend as it’s private and a great location with a short walk to local shops or public transport!

Nadine and Chris’s apartment is beautifully presented and we felt very much at home. They are also lovely hosts and were very helpful and understanding with any questions we had. The location is ideal - a very prestigious and picturesque area which is a short walk to some very good food and coffee shops in Toorak Village, with easy access to the tram into the CBD. Next time we are in Melbourne this would be our first choice of accommodation.

The apartment was extremely comfortable - beautifully furnished and very warm with plenty of heating. It’s a great location in a heritage historical site, thanks so much for hosting us! My daughter says it’s the best airbnb she’s ever visited!

Another lovely stay in this apartment. Wonderfully situated in bustling High St with super easy access to tram and a short walk to train it is easy to get around. Apartment has lots of lovely thoughtful touches and a very comfy sofa. The apartment block has a lovely roof top garden on the same level which is a great outdoor extension for afternoon sun and outdoor relaxation. Apartment has a nice small balcony with morning sun and a view over High St and beyond. Secure and welcoming. Also very handy to supermarket and lovely park just a short walk away. We will definitely be back!

Michelle thoroughly deserves her 5 star rating. The apartment is beautifully appointed with lovely furnishings and great attention to detail. The balcony was awesome - lovely to relax on amongst the trees. Location was excellent- easy to walk everywhere and close to public transport, restaurants and gardens. Can’t recommend highly enough

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Valerie’s bnb, what a charming house full of character and beautiful periodic features. And so very clean! Would definitely recommend. Valerie is a fantastic host, helpful, responsive and informative. The continental breakfast was an added bonus and went down well. Thank you Valerie, we hope to return someday.

Super-ideal stay. Thank you Fiona! Friendly and personal welcome, then complete privacy. Lovely, comfortable, character filled, spacious, high ceilinged space - yet still felt like a cosy cocoon. Quiet, clean, well resourced and thoughtful touches. Lovely to have breakfast supplied. Yes - can confirm the bed was extremely comfortable (many endorsements in previous reviews) but it was also a great 'sleep in' space as blinds kept room quite nice and dark after sun up. Completely happy to recommend with confidence to anyone planning on a trip to the Daylesford/Hepburn Springs or surrounding area... or as a relaxing get away for a night or two. Love love love.

Stayed here for a wedding on the weekend. Chris and Wendy have such a well thought-out and quaint private stay. Everything was immaculately clean and smelt beautiful and fresh. Great spot to walk straight in to town as well.

We visited the area for a local open garden event and the Stoneleigh Miners Cottage was the perfect weekend accommodation. We felt so warmly welcomed, with thoughtful touches throughout the home to make our stay not just comfortable but special. Our highlights were sipping port by the fireplace and a peaceful breakfast on the verandah! Tim was a friendly and responsive host and the local recommendations were great. We would very happily stay here again!

We had a fabulous weekend at Azidene and would highly recommend it! David was welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We loved the private garden setting and the proximity to everything.

Paul and Jo’s place was beautiful, it had such a peaceful, homely feel to it. The decor was gorgeous! The breakfast supplies were ample and lovely and it was so nice to have a toasted Hot Cross Bun for supper both nights. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the home more as we were out all day until late at night. Thanks for telling us about the kangaroos, we saw heaps but we were prepared by Jo and driving slowly :-) The sunrises were lovely (and bright) and the night view was amazing too!

Barry and Parinya went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Barry took exceptional care in getting me accustomed to the house, explaining all details about the space and kitchen. He was always available to help and even drove me around the city, helping me set up essentials and explore. What truly stood out was Barry’s generosity—he even took me for house inspections to help me find a long-term stay. When my Airbnb stay ended, he accommodated me in his attic room until my apartment was ready, which was a huge help. Barry and Parinya’s kindness, hospitality, and warmth made my stay unforgettable. I’m grateful for the bond we built and look forward to staying in touch. Highly recommend this Airbnb for a welcoming and homely experience!
