Birgit's place was great! It was nestled in the hills looking through the trees at a nice view. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and hot tub. Thanks for hosting us!

This was a work trip. After a long day building concrete steps, walks, a patio, the house was exactly what the team needed. Hot showers, a well-equipped kitchen, and plenty of places to relax. When working in the area again, we hope to stay here.

Our extended family of 13 had a peaceful, relaxing, and wonderful stay! The pictures don't do the house/cabin and surrounding property justice. The rope swing, swing, and tire swing were a huge hit with the kids - they were addicted to the rope swing! (Even the teens managed to break away from their tech and play on the creek!) The towels to use for the creek were a nice touch. This location made it really easy to get to Asheville, Black Mountain, and Brevard. It was unanimous that all of us would love to return! It was a much needed retreat and respite for all of us!

The unit was nicely appointed, with luxurious towels, liquid shower soap, shampoo & conditioner in the showers, and hand lotion at the bathroom sinks. The beds were comfortable with great pillows and duvets, there were snacks and S’More supplies for folks who wanted to use the fire pit. There was a great lantern for outdoor or emergency use, an umbrella and a fully equipped kitchen. Couldn’t find the instructions for the microwave/convection oven, but we muddled through. Conveniently located near Weaverville which has great shops (Ingles grocery, Sanctuary of Stuff, Thyme in the Garden & Pottery by Rachel at Reems Creek) and restaurants (Well Bred Bakery & Glass Onion) m. An easy drive to downtown Asheville, North Carolina Arboretum, Asheville airport, Flat Rock, NC Farmer’s Market, and the Asheville Botanical Garden. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Morning View Escape was awesome. Tammy's house overlooks a big open field which leads to the river. It's very peaceful and beautiful! It was perfect for our young children to run and play. Playing in the river was a big hit, too! We'll be back :)

The place is very nice, from the creek to relax in front of or the hot tub to get into:) Our weekend started warm then went colder and the fireplace in the house gets the place warm. The area is quiet. We had two ducks going around feeding and getting ready to nest. An eagle flew through and tried to get the ducks, they dove a couple times and the eagle left to go fishing. The area is mostly free from the damages of Helene. Plenty of birds coming and going all day:)

If you have an opportunity to stay at this beautiful home, please do. It was exactly as described with all of the amenities you could ever want. It was situated in a beautiful spot and we felt right at home. The house was clean, spacious and was everything we had hoped for. It's listed as a 3 bedroom but there was a 4th bedroom in the basement. We played pool, watched movies, cooked in the well-appointed kitchen, and enjoyed the expansive porch throughout out stay, but especially in the in the mornings and evenings. We were so comfortable we did not want to leave. The best part of our stay was our host - Julie. She was welcoming and quite responsive to all of our needs. If you rent this home it will be one of the best decisions you've ever made. We will definitely return!
