The Rose cottage was really my first experience with an Air B&B anywhere let alone Ireland, so I was guarded in my expectations. The cottage was superlative in almost every regard. Great kitchen, bedrooms are private and well-appointed and separate baths for myself and my son. And as I am finding in my travels through Ireland, the internet service was reliable and robust. Richard is an amiable and gregarious host that provided me with invaluable guidance and insights to the local area as I am looking for a house to buy here. He is the Sherpa guide to that area of the country. Staying here gave me a sense of the deep history associated with the location from the 600 year old castle to which the cottage attached even to the Game of Throne decorative swords on the walls. The neighbors that also reside there are friendly and outgoing and will engage in spirited conversations over a cup of tea. The only downside comment I could offer is that the sheep seemed a little nervous

This Airbnb&B was a treasure trove of lovelyness!! There were toys for our 6 year old to play with, space for our three month old and a great selection of TV services to watch. There was also lots of added extras from boardgames to coffee pods! Neal and Ann were fabulous hosts and always quick with a response! We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in St Helens and would most definitely stay here again!! Thank you!!

A great place to stay in Cobh!

From beginning to end, a fabulous getaway for three nights. The cottage is as described, a beautiful seafront location, steps from the strand. A very cozy home, and my favourite spot was sitting on the window seat watching the waves or reading. The kitchen has everything you need for holiday cooking, but the Saltee Chipper (try the monkfish) as well as the great breakfast place on the corner and Mary Barry's a few minutes up the road for dinner, means you won't need to cook much! Beds are comfortable and showers are good. We love the sea and that's what this cottage is all about. Direct access to a stone free sandy beach for a daily swim or two. The sauna, just steps away, was fabulous and just €15 for 45 minutes. 10/10 from us, we're already looking at dates to see when we can return to this little slice of heaven.

initially got lost but Mairéad and John were super helpful. the place was cozy, the surrounding was gorgeous, animals and location. I'd definitely go back again. they were very accommodating. Made us feel at home. They had fresh eggs from their farms!

Everything was perfect. The welcome gift was such a nice surprise. The cabin had everything we needed. It was absolutely spotless and so private and comfortable. We parked the car and didn’t leave until we checked out. Highly recommend Caroline’s cabin!!

We had an amazing stay at Michelle’s place . It was my daughter’s birthday and Michelle had the house with nice decorations , little presents and a lovely cake for her . She was thrilled and so do we. The house is very clean and has everything that you need. If I’m in honest this was by far one of the best houses where we stayed as we can see the owner thought about all the little things for guests to feel like they are home . The house has everything that you need , from toiletries to board games / toys , extra blankets/ pillows. Super well equipped kitchen stocked with coffee / tea / olive oil etc even milk . Really we can’t find any faults at all, actually only good things . It’s hard to find places like this. Very spacious house. Quiet . Very nice host and lovely dog :) Michelle thank you very much , we will definitely come back .

We had such a lovely break with our 2 dogs. The location was very peaceful and we all felt so relaxed. The cabin was really cosy and had great facilities. We enjoyed our walks through the forest to the town of Garrykennedy where we enjoyed a drink and a meal and met with some of the friendly local people. Colm was a great host. Looking forward to returning.

We loved our stay here. the cabin was perfect for us -cosy warm + had all the facines we needed. We loved the little thing like the food provided in the freezer & the robes. Owners were very helpful + showed us how to use the oven+ hot tub. we adore the hot tub + spent hours in it last night. The decor both inside and outside of the cobin are beautiful. The sofa + bed are v comfortable. Thank you for having us!
