A very peaceful place to stay for some much needed rest and relaxation. But with the benefit of activities that you can enjoy 😀

We had a great stay at Gill’s cottage. Gill kindly let us stay at short notice, everything was perfect. Lovely, peaceful location and the hot tub was really nice! Would definitely again.

We loved our dog friendly stay at the Fern Leaf Roundhouse and we're surprised by the amount of space inside. It was very well insulated and easy to keep warm with a great little wood burner to give us a boost when we needed it. We made good use of the hot tub outside after we got over our initial phobia of clambering in full view of the neighbouring roundhouses. We noticed a few others had some privacy screens which we assume is a work in progress. It was amazing sitting outside in hot tub at night under the stars and the hanging lights only added to this. Would love to visit again.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely cottage. Helen the owner was wonderful and looked after us beautifully. The extra touches like homemade cream tea and treats for our dog were particularly nice. The cottage itself was beautiful, comfortable, spotlessly clean and in a really peaceful location. We had wonderful walks down to the coastal path and Bude is just a short drive away. We cant wait to return.

The surroundings were lovely and a large enclosed garden was great for the dog and our 3 children. we had many a happy night in the hot tub. Lots of things for the kids to play with. We drove to all the local beaches would say most things are within an hour's drive and would recommend watermouth castle as a day out if you have kids!

Stayed over Christmas. The little touches left by Sue were lovely, mince pies, mulled wine and a Christmas tree made it feel special. Beautiful Lodge right by the beach. Sue's place had everything you needed. Beds are comfy and the Lodge was spotlessly clean throughout. 100% recommend staying here!

Rosie's Retreat is a great place to stay, well away from everywhere in the peace and quiet if the hills behind Bude. The Shepherd's Hut was very spacious for a Shepherd's Hut, the hot tub was great and the recommendation of the Preston Gate Inn to eat was spot on. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

a beautiful home: everything had been done with care. Felt very much at home there because the atmosphere of the house is so homely, and yet also elegant. Beautiful views from the house. Tricia made us feel very welcome. And the location is so lovely for walks and relaxing.

A private little haven, but close to town to not be a hassle to go to the shops.Dog friendly. Kitchen was well equipped. Will def go back.

I can only echo what others have said- it truly is magical! I loved everything about the house, the wooden doors, the art work, the rugs, the smell (like old leather and graphite)! The kitchen was well equipped, which is rare for an airbnb, and made cooking easy. Only wish I could have stayed longer. Thanks to Michael and Julie for sharing their beautiful home.

We had such a lovely few days stay at the cottage. It was a great place to have lazy rainy mornings and cosy nights next to the fire. Everything about this place is wonderful. From the size of the rooms, the decor and the location. You feel very at home and its great to explore the lovely beaches and villages. We will definitely stay again. Alex is a great host. Fantastic property in a great location. The house has lots going for it...flexible accommodation - all very well kitted out, private hot tub in the enclosed sunny rear garden, very useful outside heated shower for getting the beach off you and prepping for the hot tub, the whole place has a lovely feel to it. Location-wise, it's only a short drive to some of the best beaches in the country....we SUP'd at Hele Bay, body-boarded at Woolacombe, and ate ice cream everywhere! Close enough to larger towns like Barnstaple and Ilfracombe, but walkable to the lovely Braunton with it's mix of pubs and restaurants. It's a great home, beautifully located.

Great stay.....dog friendly...easy access to all amenities but very quiet location. Just love Lynton and this makes an ideal base.

Lovely house in a great location. Host was brilliant and helpful. Even had the log burner ready to go so we just had to put a light to it. Which was very welcome with a red weather warning! Ping pong table in the garage was an extra plus. We all had a lovely stay. Would Definitely stay here again.

Really a lovely and beautifully clean caravan, with towels and bedding and all the cleaning supplies etc so no need to bring too much from home. Stunning location you fall in love with straight away. Quiet in winter but you feel safe.

Beautiful place, hosts are very welcoming and lovely! The view and location are a million times more beautiful in person, definitely recommend booking!

Linda was great to communicate with-very helpful. The internet is shared with the chalet next door. We had an initial problem which Linda sorted out but it didn’t always work as well as we would have liked. Apart from this everything was great -the chalet was well appointed with lots of extra cosy touches like throws for the beds. Great view also when the sky was clear.

Badgers House was the perfect venue and location for a large family break. House was well equipped and comfortably furnished. The indoor pool proved a knockout with the children - especially as the weather wasn’t great! The indoor games room was a hit for the male adults, who enjoyed hours of pool, and they hit the gym too. The woodland walk was perfect, we spotted a male deer, the children loved it! Hide and seek in the house was so exciting and kept the little ones entertained for hours! Thank you to Max and Alex for being superb hosts and giving us this beautiful home and setting to enjoy. Our granddaughter broke her heart to have to leave! We will definitely be returning and may need Toad Hall next time for more family members to come along and enjoy the beauty of this peaceful place.

Loved the chalet, the location is amazing for coastal walks/beaches/and driving to Bude.

We had a lovely few nights staying in Claire's chalet whilst we house hunted in the local area. The Chalet was simple but beautifully clean and tidy, it was great to use as a base and Claire's flexibility was a life saver when we needed to turn up a day earlier than anticipated. Highly recommend a stay here as the Parkdean resort had lots going on with free children's entertainment in the evenings, along with parks and swimming pools. Can't thank Claire enough for all her help during the booking process. *****

Wonderful Christmas break at this lovely little cottage. The log fire was toasty and welcoming and the cottage was very comfy overall. Renate put out a Christmas tree and lights which made it look great, and was very responsive to a couple of minor queries. Be aware that the TV signal is poor at the moment following a storm, but there are loads of DVDs to watch. A great place to stay for two couples as each room has its own en-suite. Relaxing and peaceful.

I loved staying at Cottage Four - it was a great place to work remotely from (the WiFi was excellent). Cottage Four is spacious, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the swimming pool - the temperature of the water was great, the booking system is wonderful as it allows guests to have the swimming pool to themselves for their time allocation and the Bluetooth speakers allowed us to play music. We also played Ping Pong on the table in the courtyard. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Perfect stay. Would definitely come again.
