It was a lovely place to stay with a very nice and quiet garden, and it was great we could start our walk from there without taking the car. Very convenient for people bringing their dog, with pleasant walks close by. A shop is round the corner for all your needs. Andrew's very nice and helpful.

This cottage was perfect for us - 2 couples with small children. Louise gave us loads of information before we arrived, and her husband greeted us shortly after we arrived. It was such an easy stay with small children, we had everything we needed, and the stair gate made life so easy! There were lots of lovely touches like providing snacks, coffee and jams. And Louise even provided some glasses for the solar eclipse!! The surroundings are really peaceful and the kids loved the 2 Shetland ponies in the field opposite. There are lots of options for walks from the cottage, or a short drive away. The Black Lion pub did a great roast dinner. I found there was so much thought put into the stay and Louise was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Had a lovely stay. Easy self check in and some goodies to welcome us much appreciated. Very quiet location just 5 minute level walk to centre of Bakewell. Quite a few stairs in property but this was expected and not a problem for us. Pamela always very responsive, helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.

Me and my partner spent a great 2 nights here, it was perfectly clean with everything we needed. Super cosy with the fire on and lovely personal touches like the information booklet, renovation story, and hot chocolate bar! Would definitely recommend and would love to come again!

A great place to stay, a lovely well equipped cottage, with fantastic views and friendly and responsive hosts. There's lots to do in Matlock Bath, we had a great time here.

We had a great stay at Lavender cottage! It's in a lovely quiet location but only a short walk to shops and pubs. The cottage was well equipped and had everything we needed. We had a very comfortable stay! Thanks Ruth.

Lovely house, loved the decor and touches around the place. All the beds were really comfortable, felt like we were staying in a luxury hotel. The outside table gets some lovely afternoon sun, was great to sit out after our walk. Great location for getting out walking. Loved our stay.

Our third Airbnb in as many weeks in Bollington and second with Nancy. Great accomodation suiting our needs between homes having moved out and still awaiting exchange on the new property. Nancy is very personable, helpful and responsive to questions/issues. Just what we needed from our host and highly recommended.

Fantastic stay. Elizabeth's communication was excellent even though It was a last minute booking. Really appreciated Elizabeth agreeing to late check out for us. The stay was amazing, the entire place was pristine, elegant and had everything we needed with some really thought touches added in. My kids really enjoyed their stay and loved all the toys at hand. Would love to re-visit in the future.
