Our stay at the Magic Lake house was wonderful. There is plenty of room, it is very well stocked with games, books, toys, and yard games, and the lake was beautiful to kayak. We enjoyed cooking out, sitting by the fire pit in the evenings, and hanging out on the deck. Such a great place to visit with family. Hannah and Dave were very timely in sending information and answering any questions we had. We would definitely stay there again!

We were delighted with the property and it was perfect for my wife and I. The house is small but the use of space is excellent. There is ample living space, bedrooms, dining and kitchen. The space seems bigger because it flow out onto a patio that connects to a veranda. There is even a fire pit if you are so in inclined. We had meals outside and enjoyed the adirondack chairs on the dock. They provided kayaks that we used everyday, the lake was like glass and so peaceful. Nearby are plenty of restaurants. We also ventured to Peterborough and to a local apple orchard for picking apples and freshly made cider donuts. This stay exceeded expectations.

We had an excellent time at Brad’s beautiful home. Beds were very comfortable, enough hot water for several showers, and all of the cooking ware you would need! Well these things are what catch our attention when traveling for work. Brad is an awesome guy and fantastic host. He was there from time to time, and there was never an awkward moment. He is very personable and easy going. I would stay here 10 out of 10 times when passing through.

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakehouse !The home is cozy and well-kept, with stunning big windows overlooking the lake. Even though it was winter and we couldn’t fully take in the view, I can only imagine how breathtaking it must be in the summer. The host was incredibly responsive and quick to answer any questions I had, making the stay even more enjoyable. I can’t wait to come back in the warmer months to experience the lake in all its glory! Highly recommend this spot for a peaceful getaway.

The location on the lake was great—the view is beautiful and the immediate neighborhood doesn't have much traffic in the winter, so was great for a walk. Sydney was very responsive and friendly and gave detailed instructions and house tips that made check-in, check-out, and the trip run smoothly. Only thing to note is that the bedrooms don't have doors to separate them from common spaces, only curtains—just something to be aware of before booking. Overall, was a great experience at a beautiful location with a very amenable host. Worth the price!

We really enjoyed our stay at the lake house. Beautiful property, peaceful and right on the lake. Brittni was very responsive and the instructions for check in and check out were easy to follow. Would definitely stay again.

I stayed with friends for the September Brimfield Antiques Faire and had an incredible time. If you’re coming for the show, this place is a great option—the drive to Brimfield is about 30 minutes, but very easy and straightforward, and the Threadbare clothing and textiles show is only a few minutes’ drive down the main road. Monica was a great host and responded to our messages very quickly, bringing us things we requested and giving helpful instructions as needed. She keeps the place stocked with books, cassettes, games, etc. You can tell she put thought and care into making a great space for entertaining. The barn was bigger and nicer than expected based on the great price, and though the “bedrooms” were all connected, we each felt we had our own space and were able to decompress and sleep easily. The kitchen was stocked with most of what we needed to make our meals at home, and we had more than enough towels and bedding for all of us. I would definitely stay here again!

Clean and we are very close to everything

Sarah and Frank are consummate 5* hosts! They are friendly, warm, and welcoming. When we expressed interest in their kayaks, they immediately offered to assist us in getting them launched, which made for a fabulous morning paddle! The apartment is so comfortable, and the location is very close to the town of Webster and within 20-25 minutes of the other towns in this southwestern tip of Massachusetts. The entire experience of friendliness, warmth, and comfort make this an excellent choice for serenity, privacy, and beauty, and if there is a "lake lifestyle," -- this is it. The photos are just a slight suggestion of how beautiful the location is. We were two people, and it had romance. If you're a family, it's perfectly set up with two bedrooms, tons of games and toys, a play area, children's and adult books, and fully stocked kitchen utensils—it's a gem! We are eager to be return in the Spring!

Cello was a great host. The apartment was absolutely spotless. The kitchen is a fully stocked kitchen—not just a couple plates and a coffee couple of coffee mugs. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the linens were hotel quality. The neighbors were quiet and the location is amongst some of the historical homes near the university. It’s a short drive to the downtown area where there are locally owned restaurants and cafes.

Desiree & Steven’s place is truly a hidden gem. I stayed during the “off season” when the pool and other outdoor amenities were unavailable, and yet it still felt like retreat even in the dead of winter! It was a particularly snowy time, and Steven always made sure the walkway was shoveled and salted and really went above and beyond to make my stay feel comfortable. When I needed to extend my stay, Desiree and Steven made the process seamless. Truly a hidden gem with the added benefit of outstanding hosts!

Great spot on a nice pond. Our stay was pleasant, peaceful and we enjoyed the woodsy location of the home. Amanda was very responsive when we had questions. We definitely recommend this Airbnb.

I really liked all the outdoor activities my daughter and I did! Karen let us borrow the games inside the cabinet and they were pretty interesting. There's a lot of beds, and they are all comfortable. I really like the view when we were sleeping on one of the bed because you can see the lake when the sun sets or rises. It's really beautiful and I really liked spending time on the canoe and having this vacation! My family and I loved coming here and hope that we can come again. Had a great stay at Eric and Irie’s Airbnb! The place was very clean, beautifully designed, and had amazing views. Eric and Irie were very responsive and prompt with our questions, making the stay even better. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I’d definitely book again in the future!

Booked this place as an end-of-summer get away with friends and family and couldn't have been happier with the place, the location, and the experience. We were nervous about operating the pontoon but a few YouTube videos helped and we figured it out quickly. Our 12 & 13 year old kids were also able to operate it and had so much fun taking us around the lake. We cooked at the house and also tried some local restaurants. Everyone on the lake was helpful and friendly and spoke highly of Giancarlo and Jill. What a great place to relax, play games, bird watch, paddle board, fish, and pontoon. Would definitely love to visit again.

We loved our stay on Packard Pond. Perfect getaway. House was so cute- very cool decor. Everything we needed! Patti was responsive and helpful. House was very clean, kitchen was stocked. Excellent views. Had so much fun in the game room basement! Will look for Patti’s properties for future stays.

Michelle was a great host, responsive and nice to talk with! The house was perfect for a weekend getaway, quiet and beautiful. Definitely worth going back, especially in the summer time to enjoy the lake and kayaks available. Everything was clean and well taken care of as well.

My family had a fantastic time at the cabin. The cabin is cozy and our crew of 6 adults and 2 children were comfortable. We enjoyed fishing, walking around the woods, our granddaughters loved the fairy garden and the campfire each night. I would definitely recommend this to friends. This was a great place to unplug and just enjoy the family time.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! It was pretty cold and Carol provided us with several space heaters that she had turned on before our arrival. The folder with information on the area, local restaurants, grocery stores etc was very useful (we did not have any cell service) and helped us with planning our hikes. The cabin was clean and cozy and my daughter especially loved the game room right next to it. Sadly, the pool was already closed for the season but we're hoping to return in a warmer month next year!
