Loved our time there in January! The house is a perfect gathering spot for family- fantastic kitchen outfitted with everything. Well suited for small children (with crib, single bed in roomy master) yet elegant enough for discerning adults. The activity filled basement is great for kids, teens and adults. The house was perfect for our two families to share while in town for a hockey tournament. The place was nice and clean and had everything we needed. The place looks even better than in the photos. Would definitely return

We enjoyed all the comforts of home in this lovely house while getting to know Rochester. Gabe was super responsive and helpful. There was plenty of space to enjoy extended family time. Wooded trails out the back door and an amazing neighborhood park were added bonuses! The kitchen had everything we needed. A great home base for experiencing all that Rochester has to offer!

The house was very nice in a great location. Loved being able to see the ships up close!

This home was cozy and convenient. Stayed here with a 4 year old and 18 month old, there is a playground within walking distance of the home. A quick drive to multiple family friendly entertainment options. Both kids enjoyed the wildlife that came up to the bird feeders by the house. We also really appreciated being able to use the washer and dryer. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our time at Charlie's on the Canal. Everything was clean and spacious and very easy to live in comfortably for our long weekend. Our hosts were easy to work with. The highlight was the location on Lake St Clair. It was perfect and convenient for us to dock our boat. I would highly recommend.

The apartment was a great value – clean, modern, and comfortable. It was surprisingly quiet, even within an apartment building. The check-in process could have been smoother, and the kitchen amenities were a bit sparse (no toaster, for example), but overall, it was a solid stay and met our needs.

I really enjoyed my stay at the house, it was in a perfect location for me, super easy to find, and simple easy check in and check out, Mateos's was always available if needed and always very responsive to any messages or communication we had during my stay, he was a great host and I would highly recommend staying here and I would certainly stay again if I'm back in the area and the home is available, especially in the summer with the home having a pool, it is winter now and the home was great it would be over the top with the pool in the summer, a great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Chantyle’s trailer. The park was great for the kids to bike around and make friends. The pool was super clean and really fun to have along side the ipperwash beach which is beautiful! Paul was amazing at making sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed. Even took us all on a golf cart tour. The trailer was clean and well taken care of. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

Beautiful clean home, beautiful yard and pool. Very spacious, fit our family of 6 very well, plenty of room. This is our 4th time renting from Colleen. Twice here and twice at the lake house. We will definitely rent from her again. She has beautiful homes. Thank you Colleen!

This was our third time staying here and we continue to love it. The whole family looks forward to this every year. There is lots of room for cooking and enjoying meals, separate spaces for games, the wonderful pool for tons of fun, and bedrooms nicely placed separately for peace and quiet. It's the perfect space for our large gathering to come together without tripping over each other.

We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful vacation at Sandy's cottage. The surroundings are gorgeous, the stairway down to the lake is very easy to get to, and there were even some playful squirrels to watch from the front windows. Everything was clean and tidy, the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry areas were all well stocked. The water was delightfully hot, the central heat kept us extremely comfortable. This really is a gem of a place! Sandy was a very responsive, friendly host. We had no issues with check in or check out--everything was lovely. We enjoyed the living room area and having plenty room to hang out together in addition to the 1/2 bath located on the first floor. Complex was quiet. We would definitely stay here again when we come visit our son for a weekend. The house fit 5 of us comfortably and we enjoyed hanging out and not being cramped in hotel rooms. We made appetizers for dinner one night and the kitchen had what we needed.

Stargazer Cottage is an absolute gem! Our stay was nothing short of spectacular. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the beached, with optimal depth water that made our daily swims unforgettable. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure our comfort. They were especially accommodating with our kids, providing plenty of toys and games to keep them entertained. The cottage itself is beautifully maintained and boasts an outstanding view that we enjoyed every morning with our coffee. Every detail, from the cozy furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen, was perfect. This was a 10 out of 10 experience, and we can't recommend Stargazer Cottage highly enough. If you're looking for a serene yet activity-filled getaway, this is the place to be!

Had a Thanksgiving weekend with my family. Diana’s Birchwood beach house was the prefect spot for our families. Large clean bedrooms. 2 huge bathrooms. Amazing kitchen and dining room. Diana has thought of everything that you would need. This place had it all. Would definitely recommend it for you and your family. Diana was very helpful and responsive.
