Was a lovely place and perfect for what we were looking for. Hosts were there when we needed. Such a lovely area also in easy walking distance to local bakery, restaurants and pubs.

There aren't enough superlatives to describe The Granary. It's not just utterly beautiful, it's fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. Great walks around the grounds, loved the table tennis table and the pool/hot tub were a great way to chill. The sky was so clear, every night, we sat out star gazing, trully wonderful. Thanks to Jess for all the help and recommendations etc. And to Ben, for letting us back in when I locked us out 🫣 HIGHLY recommend.

We had a great stay, the lodge was easy to find and great location in a lovely area and short walk to the train station for access to the wider area. The spa was a great addition to an overall very relaxing weekend would definitely book again and highly recommend to anyone else looking to book.

Cottage really cosy with a beautiful garden. Very modern kitchen which was very well equipped. Bathrooms also modern and clean . Bedrooms had comfortable beds and lots of storage. Hot tub was a super feature especially after a day of walking. Would definitely recommend.

Really relaxing, comfortable and peaceful. Superb decking area and private garden area. Lots of places to visit and the setting is lovely. In fact, met all our expectations and more! Really pleasant stay in sumptuous surroundings. Outstanding host!

Neil was a great and flexible host. We based ourselves in the Airbnb over Christmas and he made a special effort to make it feel festive, with a Christmas tree and decorations. On arrival he came to welcome us and show us how the stove and hot tub worked. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable and everything done to a high standard. Directions to the cottage were 100 % easy to follow. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely weekend at the Piggery celebrating our engagement! It was our first time using a wood-fired hot tub and we found it very refreshing. We'd definitely recommend walking to the Cider Tap and Bolney Wine Estate - both dog friendly! Some of the kitchen utensils could do with replacing, the tin opener didn't work well and most of the knives were quite blunt, but apart from that we had a lovely time!

A peaceful retreat at the beginning of spring. A perfect time to visit, with sunlight reaching down through the surrounding tree canopy. Watching birds mob the feeder outside the bedroom was a great way to start the day. Wonderful walks all around.

surrey hills is an amazing area. great for seansoned hikers and also gentle amblers. the cottage felt very rural and quiet and lovely grounds. it was perfect for what i needed, to "get away" from general hubbub of life. the walking is out of this world. and the views from the hills are vast. would love to return to this cottage in full blown spring. would be another lever.

Elm Cottage is beautiful, it smelt so fresh and clean when we walked through the door, and everything was nicely laid out. A really thoughtful hamper full of quality goodies had been left for us, which was very welcome, the shortbread biscuits went down nicely with a cup of tea! The cottage was really cosy and warm-despite the weather being clear and sunny, the wind was biting cold, the cottage at no point felt cold which was really appreciated. Carol's instructions for our arrival were really clear and easy to follow, parking right beside the cottage which made unloading our bags really easy - the dog has more luggage than us! The only suggestion that I would make is for a visitor book to be available for guests to write in, other than that our stay was very enjoyable and would highly recommend Elm Cottage. Thank you :)

Peaceful location, annexe equipped with all necessary amenities, great place to stay and lovely location . Slept well , owners very friendly and responsive.

Beautiful stay at Esme's cottage. We stayed for 2 nights. Beautiful area, we saw rabbits and deers in the garden which was fab! The cottage was lovely, cosy and clean. We had a great night sleep in the comfy bed. The shower is amazing too. We will deffo be returning.

We hadden 4 fantastische dagen in het huisje van Caroline. De kinderen waren heel gelukkig met de chocolaatjes en zelf was ik helemaal in de wolken met alle prachtige bloemen die werkelijk overal in het huis stonden! De locatie was zalig rustig en een goeie uitvalsbasis voor een aantal daguitstappen. We sliepen als roosjes in de comfortabele bedden en werden elke ochtend wakker met het gefluit van de vogeltjes. Het aanwezige ontbijt was de kers op de taart want zo konden we rustig aankomen zonder al direct te denken aan de volgende ochtend. We raden een verblijf dan ook zeker aan! 😊

We had a fantastic stay. The property is fairly small but was perfect for our needs. The most wonderful location with a view of the stunning sunset over the directly accessible beach. Walkable to local restaurants and pubs. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom clean (with an amazing view!). Would not hesitate to stay here again.

we had a lovely stay, the cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed. The location was quiet and local amenities were identified. The cottage was also centrally located so we were able to explore the local towns. The host responded quickly to emails and dealt with them quickly. we will definately be back

We absolutely loved the pig sheds. So cosy, warm and clean. The bathroom was gorgeous with great water pressure. The farm also has a “fresh veg and oat milk” honesty box. And the nearby village is only 13 min walk away. The only thing that could be improved is to have microwavable plates in the kitchen, we had to improvise because all the plates were metal.

Absolutely fantastic stay. Marion was incredibly accommodating & warmly welcomed us on our arrival . The cottage was perfectly positioned and Marion had gone out of her way to make us feel at home- especially with our toddler . Plenty of toys and baby equipment which was greatly appreciated. We loved the gorgeous courtyard and had a lovely stroll to the nearby cafe which was a great way to spend a morning with playground and great coffee! A wonderful trip and one we would love to come back to! Thank you

Excellent accommodation. Warm and very comfortable - although we were too warm on arrival, we were grateful for the heating when the temperature dropped! Excellent facilities. We chose this property as we wanted to attend a couple of events nearby but there is also lots to do - visit Brighton, walk along the coast & National Trust properties. Jane’s directions were very helpful and she ensured we were settled and happy with everything. Thanks for your hospitality - we will return!

Diana’s beautiful countryside cottage is nestled into the East Sussex countryside, providing a quiet and remote getaway, but within easy drive of shops and several lovely Sussex towns and villages. Beautiful walks in the area.. in the winter bring your waterproof boots and enjoy!! Great for a stay with family or friends, lots of lovely spaces in the house ( the photos don’t do it justice). We stayed between Christmas and new year, so we appreciated and enjoyed the abundance of coal for our daily evening fires, providing a warm and very cozy atmosphere. Very well equipped kitchen with enough space around the table for 6 or 7 people. All our needs were met. Well worth a stay, I would highly recommend this place and we will surely return! Gill

We recently stayed at this lovely cottage from December 29th to January 1st, and we can’t recommend it highly enough! The cottage was well-maintained, super cosy, and felt like a perfect little escape. Here are some of the highlights: Location The cottage is right on the edge of the South Downs, and waking up to those fantastic views every morning was such a treat. It’s also conveniently close to Newhaven for shopping, with reliable and frequent public transport options. We rented a car for part of our stay, and while parking near the cottage can be a bit tight for larger vehicles (as the listing clearly mentions), it wasn’t a major issue for us. One of the things we loved most was the tranquillity—you could hear nothing at night, which was such a refreshing change. If you’re visiting in winter, don’t forget your boots for those beautiful South Downs walks! The cottage was a real home from home. Really important for us as we had to stay for two months whilst work was being done on our house. It was warm (essential in January and February), cosy, comfortable and extremely well equipped. John and Jane were thoughtful and helpful. After a very stressful few months we were able to relax and enjoy our extended holiday.

Lovely property and location. Excellent base for exploring the south coast and Westbourne village is very pretty. Recommended.
