The nicest Air BnB we’ve ever stayed in! We could not fault our stay at Matt and Claire’s place! My wife has been unwell for some time and we needed a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The Oaks absolutely hit the spot. Very easy check in where we actually met Matt, Claire, their lovely daughter and 2 gorgeous dogs! When we got inside it totally exceeded our expectations, the photos do not do it justice! Being a clean freak myself the oaks was cleaned to perfection and everything looks pristine, in order and ready for use. There were booklets with multiples recommendations of which we sought out (we would recommend the gorge little book shops). It was just so welcoming and relaxing, we loved the privacy of the hot tub which was immaculate, and checked daily to ensure safety. Matt and Claire were amazing hosts and we can’t wait to stay again, only for longer next time! Looking to head back over in summer! Total perfection and worth every penny!! On behalf of my family thank you for a wonderful and very comfortable stay. It was everything we we hoped for given the circumstances, and the area was very quiet and very convienient. We wouldn't hesitate to come back.

The house was beautiful and very well located. Will definitely consider staying again but maybe in the spring/summer as we found the house a little cold in the evenings/overnight.

We cannot recommend Tan Y Garth enough. Staying there was an adventure in itself: atmospheric, clean and set in spectacular surroundings. The best thing about Tan Y Garth were our hosts. There was a fierce storm during our stay resulting in a power outage covering the whole of Wales. Janet and Derek worked tirelessly to make sure we were warm, able to cook, able to see! We ate supper by candlelight and some electric light, round a roaring fire, took hot baths by candlelight and Derek even restored Wi-Fi and made sure we could listen to music! It was a truly memorable weekend and we will definitely be back to enjoy Tan y Garth in more clement conditions!

Great host, responsive, helpful and friendly. The property was spotless and well equipped. Top floor was very comfy. Garden very spacious! Short drive away to local town however, the village itself had a great pub and chippy!

Stayed here with my friends for my boyfriends birthday and we had an amazing time. The place looked exactly like the pictures and there was something for everyone to do. Would highly recommend to anyone. We will 100% book again.

We had a lovely stay here, it was clean and very comfortable, and the log burner in the living room is great too. We brought our dogs with us, and Jill phoned us beforehand to warn us the garden wasn't fully secured in case this was a problem (it wasn't), which I appreciated. Location is handy for main routes, you are on the corner of a set of traffic lights but never heard the traffic in the house at all. We've already booked for another stay, and highly recommend this place!

It was a great stay and we feel lucky to have stayed there. We had a big group and we felt like there was more than enough space.

We stayed here as a party of 7 for a friend's birthday, the location was easy to find on a friends iPhone however on Google maps the postcode took us to a holiday lodge a mile up to road, so be careful if using Google maps. Maria was excellent as accommodating the room layouts we needed and instructing us on how to access the building. The bnb itself was lovely, everything was spotless and as described. the pub underneath serves amazing food too, the shop opposite has everything you could need. we would definitely return to this location if and when we're in the area again

Great two nights stay, while visiting family member in Chester Uni (only 20 min from Chester). Comfortable and fully equipped. My old two dogs enjoyed fully fenced garden. Welcome goodies -wine, pastry, milk and dog biscuits- much appreciated!! Picturesque village with lots of walks and lovely atmosphere- Holt castle within walking distance. Nice host, clear instructions, easy to find. Highly recommended.

We loved our family trip here! The views where amazing, the apartment was immaculately clean and Melinda was a great host. Location was lovely, perfect distance to lots of places to explore and Rhos on Sea really came to life on a sunny Saturday during our trip. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back again! Thank you 😁

Michele greeted us on arrival, it was so nice to meet her and not just use a key safe to enter the apartment. We had a wonderful stay and settled in straight away, it was so comfortable and pristine. The location is perfect, restaurants, shops, bus stop just a short walk away. we would definitely recommend this apartment, thank you Michele.

We loved staying at Louise’s garden flat. It’s clean, comfortable and well equipped. It’s proximity to town is great for visiting and meals out, also we found Chester Zoo to be an easy 45 min walk away which was great. All in all a lovely and convenient place to stay would definitely recommend to friends and family.
