We LOVED our stay here! The home is fabulous, so many spacious rooms to explore, each one decorated in a great way. The outdoor space is amazing, and was such a highlight of our stay, from the stunning countryside views, the lush pool, the immaculate sauna out building (a hot tub on the balcony or outside would be a cherry on top of a delicious cake). We also loved that the house was so well stocked in the kitchen and cupboards throughout the house, which made it easier and more enjoyable to just chill at the house. Everyone said that they're beds were super comfy too. The neighbours were very welcoming and helpful too, it was a lovely start to our stay meeting Les! It was easy to communicate with the host, and they messaged us 24 hours before check out to let us know we could check out later which was fab. Would definitely recommend staying here with a big group, plenty of space for everyone with a fab social dining table. Diolch yn fawr

I have been to many rentals and trips before, This place was by far the best of the lot. I'm not sure where to start from. The Large spacious house with loads of sitting rooms made everyone feel so comfortable. The Magnificent view literally from every window is something out of this world. The Massive garden was amazing. To top it all off was the private pool where the children and adults alike loved every minute. The House has loads of outdoor furniture, one could sense that the owners put their heart and soul into it. The house is at the end of a small road, so it has all the advantages, it's not in the middle of nowhere when things can feel a little eerie, but with the large front garden and massive backyard you feel all alone on this planet. The hosts were very responsive and assisted with all we needed. We didn't have to go out on trips, as we all wanted to stay in the house as long as possible. Leaving this house was extremely difficult as all we wanted was to stay much longer

Lovely place to stay. Slept like a log here, the bed was comfy and the location was very quiet. Really nice inside and out you can tell this place is well looked after and cared about. Real home from home, had everything you would need including a bluetooth speaker. The place was spotless. Cosy and warm. No issues. However, we didn't bump into their doggy Lottie, she must have been busy. :-) Lovely location, so relaxing sitting outside in the sunshine watching the rolling hills. I would recommend this place!

We had a lovely stay over New Year. The cottage is lovely and cosy with everything we could need. The area is a lovely little town and the views from the cottage are beautiful. Lorraine and Dave are excellent hosts who kept in touch with us throughout the stay. They were even kind enough to invite us out for karaoke and to see the New Year in with them at a bar in the town!

I've never been to such a nice, clean and well equipped AirBnB before! Absolute 10/10! There's literally everything you could possibly look for, especially in the kitchen - which is the most important part for me personally. Oftentimes the kitchens in other Airbnbs are dirty and only equipped with the cheapest kitchenware one can find, not so with this one! Everything is new, clean and of high quality! I could not think of anything that I was missing during my stay. If you're unsure on which Airbnb to get here in Wrexham, don't hesitate to book this one - I'll promise you won't be disappointed!

We were family of three adults stayed for three nights at Awen’s place. It was a lovely two bed room house well suited for our needs. The house located in a quiet street , supermarkets , pub, high street only 5 mins by drive. We had a lovely time exploring North Wales from Awen’s place and we felt like being at our own place. Ruthin a lovely town. I will definitely stay at Awen’s place again.

The nicest Air BnB we’ve ever stayed in! We could not fault our stay at Matt and Claire’s place! My wife has been unwell for some time and we needed a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The Oaks absolutely hit the spot. Very easy check in where we actually met Matt, Claire, their lovely daughter and 2 gorgeous dogs! When we got inside it totally exceeded our expectations, the photos do not do it justice! Being a clean freak myself the oaks was cleaned to perfection and everything looks pristine, in order and ready for use. There were booklets with multiples recommendations of which we sought out (we would recommend the gorge little book shops). It was just so welcoming and relaxing, we loved the privacy of the hot tub which was immaculate, and checked daily to ensure safety. Matt and Claire were amazing hosts and we can’t wait to stay again, only for longer next time! Looking to head back over in summer! Total perfection and worth every penny!! We were thrilled with this airbnb. It was beautiful and spacious. One of our party was in a wheelchair and was able to get around downstairs with ease. The downstairs bedroom was perfect for them (which is a room in it's own right, not the lounge with sofa beds as I thought from the pictures). The downstairs bathroom was also great for them. Gemma had put out ramps for the slight step on the entry door, and a step inside approaching the lounge. She had also rolled up the rugs to make it easier for them to get around. She was proactive and always responsive to texts. There was room for our four cars outside! We often saw Gemma go past with her beautiful horses and she stopped for a chat. I can recommend this place with enthusiasm, it is a haven of peace and comfort. (You don't need a code to get into the gate even though it looks like it from the pictures, but you will get a key-box code for the front door key a day or two before you get there).

Lovely little cottage, literally a stones throw from the Aquaduct and the cottage comes with the free use of kayaks saving us £100 paying for hired tours!! The canal in less than 30 seconds from the cottage, ideal for long walks with the dogs down the canal… stopping at pubs along the way! I booked the retreat for a university club holiday and it certainly did not disappoint! The hosts Derek and Janet were super helpful when booking their place and when we arrived we received the warmest of welcomes. The retreat is in immaculate condition, all the facilities and rooms were perfect and it’s so quirky. It was a peaceful and calming environment and Derek and Janet elevated our experience with their welcoming presence and made us feel at home. It is a short walk away from a lovely local pub and there are some beautiful walks to do near by. I would thoroughly recommend visiting here!

Pamela’s place is just perfect for us. It’s our second time staying in her place and it doesn’t disappoint. It’s a great little village with a good curry house and even better cafe just a short walk away. Perfect for visiting north wales. Compact but well equipped the space is well appointed. The fact that this was our second visit says it all. Will be back again.

Fabulous house in the most beautiful, serene setting. Gorgeous interiors, and we felt instantly at home. The house was really comfortable (particularly great beds and pillows) and Zoe was a very generous host. We’ll be back!

Extremely helpful hosts, very quick to respond to our enquiries, very flexible and friendly. The cottage was fabulous, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Everything we needed. Just perfect. Very highly recommended. We hope to return when visiting family in the area.

Wonderful stay at a beautiful cottage in an idyllic village location. Great hospitality at both local pubs but especially our hosts at the Hare. Easy reach of Chester and Wrexham and beautiful scenery all around. Would love to visit again

This is one of the nicest air bnbs we have stayed at. The location is absolutely stunning next to the river- we had amazing weather so made the most of the outside decking. The house itself is very clean and well equipped with everything you need. The bed was incredibly comfortable and it was so peaceful so we all slept well. Great host thanks John

Had the pleasure of staying in the lovely Annexe. Laura was always on the end of the phone and was lovely! Some good recommendations for food, drinks, bars showing sport, taxis and things to do. All amenities were spotless and the annexe was in pristine condition. A genuinely faultless stay and I will be back! Thank you Laura
