This cottage was perfect for us - 2 couples with small children. Louise gave us loads of information before we arrived, and her husband greeted us shortly after we arrived. It was such an easy stay with small children, we had everything we needed, and the stair gate made life so easy! There were lots of lovely touches like providing snacks, coffee and jams. And Louise even provided some glasses for the solar eclipse!! The surroundings are really peaceful and the kids loved the 2 Shetland ponies in the field opposite. There are lots of options for walks from the cottage, or a short drive away. The Black Lion pub did a great roast dinner. I found there was so much thought put into the stay and Louise was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful cottage in an ideal location with easy access to all amenities. Added bonus was the private south facing back garden. Very enjoyable weekend break and would definitely recommend.

Excellent location for Alton Towers. Cosy cottage with everything needed for a short stay, several pubs in walking distance and a convenience store close by. There is no dining table (apart from outside).

Me and my partner spent a great 2 nights here, it was perfectly clean with everything we needed. Super cosy with the fire on and lovely personal touches like the information booklet, renovation story, and hot chocolate bar! Would definitely recommend and would love to come again!

Comfortable stay, close to lots of amenities and well equipt

A beautiful spot with lovely views over the fields and hills, with the ponies as an added bonus, the sunsets were incredible to the front of the cabin, and great to sit out for breakfast in the sunshine! We really enjoyed our stay, and look forward to visiting again.

My family had a very lovely stay at the apartment. Melissa was very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The apartment was the perfect size for my family of 5, cozy and beautifully furnished. The apartment is located in a nice part of Altrincham. The fact that it is a gated compound was a huge plus for us in terms of safety considerations. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip back to visit our family! Thank you Melissa for being such a wonderful host.
