I cannot recommend this place enough. Perfect location on the canal with a lovely pub right opposite. Amy has thought of everything and the welcome hamper was greatly appreciated. The hot tub was amazing and the weather was so nice we even had a bbq. Best Airbnb I have stayed in and I’ve stayed in alot

We had an amazing few night away, it was just what we were looking for. Peaceful, beautiful cottage in the Countryaide perfect for a couples get away. We had good weather and stargazing in the hot tub is a must! Well stocked kitchen so took advantage of cooking and relaxing infront of the log burner which is perfect when it gets chilly in the evenings. Sarah and Stew were so welcoming and friendly while we were there, had lots of reccomendations for things to do nearby (definitely go to Catmel and get some sticky toffee pudding) and were nearby and responsive to messages if you needed help with anything at all.

I highly recommend this beautiful house in a quiet and peaceful location. Jill was an excellent host, helpful and informative and the house was spotlessly clean with excellent amenities. The surrounding fields had newborn lambs and free range chickens which added to the atmosphere. if you come across this property when looking for a place to stay, look no further and book it immediately.

Lovely little cottage. I asked for some extras as it was my husband’s birthday and it was all set up for when we got there. Amazing hosts.

We arrived on the Friday for a 3 night stay. The Barn is in a beautiful place inside and out. The Hot Tub was lovely on an evening and the patio fire was great to sit around for drinks early evening watching the Sun go down. Casterton village is only a couple of miles from Kirkby Lonsdale. The village its self had a gorgeous pub 7 mins walk from the Barn which had a great range of food and served Sourdough pizza on Sunday evening after 1700hrs with a lovely warm atmosphere and open fires. There is a great taxi service and some fabulous restaurants near to the Barn. The Black Bull and the Highwayman were fabulous. (We did go to Number 9 also and it was not somewhere I could recommend, service and food really poor.) Patrick and Anika were great responsive hosts and this is a do not miss property, that offers every you need for a fabulous stay. Our little group loved it. Thank you Karen, Denise and Naomi

Bank House Cottage is an exceptional cottage to stay at. Hosts Veronica and Alan were wonderful, giving local recommendations and ensuring that everything was perfect for our stay. The cottage itself is beautiful and has an interesting history. It was sparkling clean and had all the amenities you could ask for. We also availed of the Hot Tub which was luxurious and very relaxing. We would thoroughly recommend a stay at the cottage and hope to return in the future.

Extremely comfortable cottage in a lovely, pretty location. Very well equipped kitchen, great shower and very comfortable bed. Very clean and own parking spot was a bonus. Great comms from Brittany and excellent local recommendations. Looking forward to returning soon. Highly recommend.

A spotlessly clean cottage with a secure private garden and just around the corner from a couple of pubs and an Indian restaurant but still a very private location in this lovely village. Nothing to complain about and we felt very good value for money. We stayed for four nights and are very happy to recommend the cottage.

Booked High Beckside last minute for family visiting and we weren't disappointed. Anthony messaged us as soon as we booked, with clear instructions and directions. The property was in a lovely, quiet location with riverside views and close by to shops and places to eat. Also a very clean and cosy home. Highly recommended to anyone who is visiting the Lakes.

We have just got home from a lovely couple of days at Deb & Tim’s cosy hideaway. What a lovely place - the space so well thought out and everything was provided that we needed for a gorgeous weekend in a great part of the world. What a wonderful house! A lovely and peaceful location with incredible views and walks from it. House was spotless, cosy, completely as described and probably the most well equipped Airbnb we’ve stayed in. We’d love to stay again!

The house was very clean and well equipped, it was also very cosy and comfortable. An ideal spot to stay if you want to get away from city life and just enjoy the peaceful and scenic area. Perfect spot for walking the dog and we enjoyed a nice meal and drinks at the dog friendly pub just around the corner from the house

Super place to stay, away from everything but village within a short walk. Felt at home immediately- lots of extras provided, toiletries, tea, milk, even slippers! Hosts very helpful with advice about walks and even sorted out a pair of walking shoes when one of us had forgotten theirs. The area is stunning. Walks in all directions. Would definitely return. We stayed here last year, and enjoyed our stay so much we booked again for this year The location of the property is perfect , lots of nearby walks and two minutes walk to the Main Street. Once again everything was spotless clean, you would never know that this was a dog friendly property, like some Kindly Keith left us milk, bread, butter, cereal. Jam and fresh orange , everything you need to start your day , and a lovely bottle of wine , perfect for the end of the day Our dog Lizzie enjoyed her treats and was very relaxed here again Can’t recommend his place and the host highly enough

Beautiful lodge in a peaceful little spot equipped with everything you could need and more. Plenty of things to do to keep you busy too when you're not enjoying the peace and quiet of the lodge itself.

This was one of the loveliest cottages we have ever stayed at The decor was beautifully done with loads of useful extras. Wonderful location 2 mins from the beach and St Peter's church 1 min away. Great meals at the pub across the road. The village is so quaint and people so friendly. 2 nights just isn't enough so we will definitely be booking again. Ahh what a gorgeous bolthole to relax, focus, or use as a base for the great outdoors! We came up North to visit family and I ended up travelling ahead of my husband and little ones so that I could focus on a university assignment. I was therefore able to experience Robin Cottage as both a quiet refuge and as a spacious, family-friendly, home-from-home. Jennifer and Caesar went above and beyond, responding quickly to messages and requests. I ended up staying an extra night and needed to check out later which Jennifer was able to accommodate, which enabled me to finish off my work. There are some beautiful walks in the area which provided a welcome respite from being stuck in front of a screen! We have stayed in lots of holiday cottages but this might just be the best one. It has everything you could possibly need! And it is the first time I have been a little sad to get back to my own (very comfy) bed. The beds there were another level. We would love to return for a longer stay.

A fab stay at Kim's place. It was very easy to check in and a great location for plenty of walks and pubs. Kimberley was very responsive when we needed help with places to eat and operation of the log burner. Would definitely stay here again should I be around the Forest of Bowland. The views out to the fields littered with sheep and scenery were stunning in the mornings.

We stayed for a weekend away visiting family, this was a lovely place, incredibly well equipped with everything we would need, as well as toys and book which was a lovely surprise, the place was spotless and we were given clear instruction and easy to follow directions on arrival, owner was lovely and super helpful, would definitely stay here again we had an amazing time Thankyou

Emma was a thoughtful and kind host who responded very quickly to a query. The cottage was lovely and warm with comfortable beds, a good hot shower and an oven that worked well and was easy to operate. We really enjoyed our stay in Great Eccleston and hope to return.

Just had an amazing few days here. Incredible cottage, spotlessly clean and so comfortable with everything we needed and more. Lynne is an excellent host who thinks of everything and does all she can to ensure you feel welcomed and at home. This was the perfect place for us to gather as a family to celebrate my mum’s 70th birthday. It was so relaxing and peaceful and we were lucky enough to have good weather so we could sit and enjoy the beautiful garden. Can’t recommend this place enough and we would absolutely love to return for another visit. 5 star experience from booking through to the end of our stay. Just loved it!

We have just arrived home, following a lovely stay at Annabelle’s cottage and it was absolutely perfect. Both hosts were very helpful and ensured everything was to our liking. The cottage is in incredible grounds, with fields and a small wood, ending in a river, which our dog relished! The cottage and garden are just wonderful, with a fully equipped kitchen, a roaring fire and an extra special hot tub in the garden! I cannot explain how special this place is. It’s a real gem. We will return.
