Kerrie’s place was extremely beautiful! The place was very calming and therapeutic. Waking up to the beautiful animals was a show-stopper! Pictures don’t do the place justice! It’s even more stunning in person. Kerrie’s communication was out of this world! She contacted us hours before our arrival as we were driving from other provinces. She updated us on the weather and cautioned us about the recent floods. Check-in was super easy. Kerrie kindly waited for us even though we arrived later than anticipated. She showed us around the beautiful house, and was also kind enough to offer our parents a free stay in their flat as we were a big family. With Kerrie’s great personality, prompt responses and scenic surroundings, I 100% recommend staying here.

The price and location were perfect for my needs. Within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and the school where my daughter was playing in a weekend tournament. It was very easy dealing with Juan- a great host.

A wonderful spot if you are looking for a remote & peaceful but still very comfortable stay. We try and find out of the way spots that showcases the best of the beautiful SA countryside and Lindys place is certainly one of those. The home is very secluded and private with excellent finishings too. If you are an astronomy or star-gazing enthusiast then this is a highly recommended location as the nigh sky is unbelievably awesome here. Literally horizon to horizon...

What a lovely place and perfect for our overnight stay. Had everything we needed. Check in was easy, place was clean and tidy with comfortable beds. The host response and proactive.

What an absolute treat staying over at Jacqueline's. We arrived quite late and Jacqueline made to sure communicate with us regarding the road to their place and how best to be safe. The place itself was really quaint and comfortable, really great set up, amazing shower, very comfortable bed and we felt right at home. Our doggo lived playing with Boela, the resident Boerboel, he's such a gentle giant. Jaco and Jacqueline made us feel right at home and were extremely welcoming and friendly, we had a really great chat. We even left with a beautiful plant from their garden, can't wait to plant it. Was really a wonderful and comfortable stay. Wish we were there for longer to check out the town, had a really good time.

We had a fantastic stop over at Kitty's Place. peaceful and tranquil surroundings. We had the entire house. Kitty was a superhost. Beds were comfy, linen was clean and fresh. We felt right at home after a superb home-cooked meal provided by Kitty.

A very comfortable place to stop over on our way back to Joburg from the coast. Really appreciated the heating options (fireplace/aircon) on quite a freezing winter night in Bloem. Host is very friendly and we appreciated the nice welcome.

It was a good choice for my parents to stay in very homely and safe. The home was cosy and comfortable . We experienced warm hospitality . I would highly recommend for comfortable stay.

We came for a night on the way down to the cape… loved it so much that we came back for 2 nights a week later on our return to Pretoria, Hennie is more than a host - he is our friend and we can’t wait to come stay with him again … We will be back next year for sure! This was a stopover to our home and everything was as described. We enjoyed our stay and Shaun was very friendly and proactive. Our dogs felt right at home.

This house is so well-established that it welcomes you home straight away. If there’s a next time, I’m looking forward to wandering around the farm with my dogs and then coming home to thoughtful comfort.

This was a great stay. The best AirBnB we've had in Bloem - and we've been there quite often over the last five years of having kids at the university. This is comfortable, clean, well-appointed place to crash for a couple and two singles and is highly recommended. Thanks Priscilla!

This is the perfect midway stop over for a family or group (including dog) travelling between Joburg and the Eastern Cape. Celeste has gone out of her way to make the place quirky and memorable while at same time ensuring your comfort and safe surroundings. The stoep is a perfect place for an evening braai and to relax after a long drive. The huge interior has many interesting objects from past days while the 4 private bedrooms (2 en-suite) are large and comfortable. The road infrastructure along this route is in excellent condition for travel and passes through magnificent scenic locations. The historic town of Aliwal North with its rejuvenated hot spring spa is a 20 minute drive away. A must visit for the adventurous traveler!
