A Frame of Mind is an amazing property and Tamra is an amazing host. The property is exactly like the pictures and the description was spot on. It’s the perfect secluded setting with amazing views, daily wildlife sightings and a home that feels warm and inviting. It was the perfect Thanksgiving getaway. Thanks Tamra, 10/10!!

We had a wonderful visit. The home was clean and spacious. We had 8 guests and there was enough room for all of us. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous. Great Mountain View’s and a beautiful stream. Everyone enjoyed Nacho the donkey and Miss Betty the horse. They loved feeding them apples and carrots!! We will definitely visit again. Thank you Gustavo and Isabel for hosting.

Loved our stay here! Having a bathroom with every bedroom was great for our group. Tons of fridge space, large living area. It really is a perfect spot for a group! It is very quiet and pretty private. There is another house up the hill but it’s plenty far enough away that you can’t see or hear anyone there. Not much around, but we did have dinner at J Hartman’s about 20min away and we highly recommend it. We would definitely stay here again!

Courtney was a great host! The home was well represented and easy to find. Our stay was in the coldest of winter, and the heat worked reasonably well. it is charming old house with a modern antique feel. Courtney did excellent with communication to any questions we had.

Whispering Pines was beautiful, peaceful and comfortable. My favorite part was the living room. It is spacious and had so many comfy seating options! We were there during the winter and had a bit of snow, so it felt wonderful to watch the snow fall out the windows while enjoying a cup of tea (or wine). The kitchen was well equipped and everything worked well. The bathrooms were spotless and the furniture just right for what we needed. It was especially nice that we could bring our dogs with us and they enjoyed all the new smells. The dog run under the porch was convenient when it was a little too slippery to take them for walks. As was mentioned in other reviews, have a care for the turn into the driveway, it is steep and a little hard to see at night. But at night, it was so quiet and had little to no light "pollution", so perfect for sleeping! We will definitely be back the next time we visit our family in Burnsville. Thanks for the great experience!

A pristine home in an amazing private community. Full equipped with kitchen, bath, and extras. Always great recommendations and responsive to questions. Highly recommend for families that enjoy nature and privacy.

Joe and Antonio both were very helpful!! We went there during Helene Hurricane and it was a mess but they stood up next to us worrying about our safety!! Beautiful and peaceful place to go to !!! Thank you for the good job !!!! I recommend it for happily couples

Family of 7 had plenty of space and plenty to do during our stay. Very close to Hately Point skiing and snow tubing.

The cabin had all the amenities you could need for a peaceful week in the mountains. It was within 10 minutes of the Appalachian Trail and an easy drive into Asheville for a day of shopping. For the cold snowy spring day, we cozied up by the fireplace, made some chili in the Instant Pot, and watched movies. The bedding was clean and beds comfortable, and we all caught up on some much needed sleep!

Very beautiful property with a beautiful view😍 Saw so many deers ! Loved every second spent at the cabin! Will definitely come again.

Easy to communicate quiet place peaceful, scenery is amazing. Easy booking. Friendly welcoming committee (Opal) . The set up was good . Nice private area would visit again PS the night lights make it easy to find at night

We loved our stay at this beautiful cabin the woods! There was so much to do at the house that our boys never wanted to leave. The house was well stocked and we took advantage of the nearby playground, tennis courts, and fishing. The only bummer was that the ski resort had closed for the season and we didn't know that until which we drove to the mountain for our rentals. This has nothing to do with the hosts, but make sure to check in with Hatley Pointe to make sure they're open if you're traveling to Mars Hill for skiing!

second time at Daniel's 100+ year old cabin. easy access to hiking on Appalachian trail and the view cannot be described as other than breathtaking. very enjoyable stay.

The Vacay Chalet was beautiful, felt like a remote mountain horse, yet was 2 minutes from the town square! Beth was very responsive. When we contacted her about an issue that needed repair she sent someone out within 2 hours with a quick fix! We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very kid friendly as well as a great place for an adult getaway!

Kemp's place was a fantastic getaway for a low-key bachelor weekend in the mountains. It looks even better in person - both house and surroundings - and has everything one could want out of a weekend house outside of Asheville. Kemp himself was incredibly proactive in terms of instructions on getting inside, what to do with garbage, etc., and he was wonderfully responsive when we had questions or needed clarification on anything. Overall, an ideal experience. I hope not to have to plan another bachelor party again, but if I do, I will recommend this house to a person I know just the same as I am right now to you, the viewing public. 10/10.

Unfortunately, we were booked the weekend of Hurricane Helene so did not get to go. Karen was very good with communication as we were trying to gauge whether we were going to be able to go. We lost contact with Karen the day of the storm and assume she has no power or cell service. We are hoping and praying she is ok and that the house is ok. We will definitely plan on booking there again as soon as everything is clear!

This was our second time staying at Claudia and John’s place. It was extremely private and peaceful. Our grown kids loved it too, because it was nostalgic and artistic. They have countless video cassette types, the kind we went to Blockbuster for. They also have a closet full of board games. We spent all of our nights playing Monopoly and admiring the ceramics and drawings around the house. It felt like home. It felt like it did when our children were little. Now they are grown and on their own. We just loved being together in that space.

Fantastic stay! We felt like we had stepped right into the Shire. It was a chilly evening when we arrived, but the heater and stove heated the room up in moments. Although there are other houses on the property, it was still very private and peaceful. We never saw the other guests. Beautiful views of the sunrise.

My friends and I had such a relaxing four day stay at the cabin. We had coffee on the porch, did puzzles, sat around the bonfire. Easy access to the city. Beautiful location. Excellent communication with the hosts!
