We a really enjoyed our stay here! It was almost a three hour drive from the city, but was exactly the escape we were looking for. Private, with beautiful scenery. Pat (the owner) was friendly and responsive throughout our stay. Beautiful spot to unwind without the kids and hustle and bustle of the city. Everything we wanted/needed was available and clean. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Prowhouse went above and beyond all our expectations. The home is lovely and the location breathtakingly beautiful. The hosts were super responsive and gave detailed information about the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and can't wait to come back. Highly recommend this lovely home and wonderful hosts!

We stayed here for six nights over the Christmas holiday, and it was an unforgettable experience. The peace and serenity we felt during our stay were absolutely surreal. The property is stunning, and it provided the perfect escape for us to relax and recharge. The neighbors, Rose and Robert, were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the hosts, Mark and Michelle, went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. Their thoughtfulness and attention to detail truly made this stay special. We can’t say enough good things about this place. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with amazing people nearby, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend!

The LightKeeper’s Cottage was in a lovely location next to the lighthouse. The views were spectacular and we were fortunate to see deer, hawks and our first porcupine. The house was spacious and clean. Wendy also provided useful information for our stay. We would definitely recommend this property.

Denise is a superb host in every way. My stay was quiet and beautiful. The communty in the area is lovely, warm and friendly, and I found everything I needed. If you enjoy peaceful surroundings, beautiful art, the seashore, and a glimpse of life on a farm with gorgeous horses always nearby, you will be right at home.

This was our second time staying in Colleens cottage, neither time did we want to leave. The setting is absolutely beautiful right on the ocean the view from the dining room table is out of this world the kind of thing Bob Ross dreamed about. The cottage is nice and cozy with nice amenities considering it's location which is a little off the beaten path. Perhaps it's not the Ritz Carlton but that's not what you're looking for when you book a cottage on the ocean in Maine. I really can't think of any negatives to booking here. The cottage has an outdoor cedar shower which we were concerned about before we booked the first time but we actually ended up finding it quite nice even during 45 degree mornings on this trip. Colleen is wonderful, she's super friendly, always quickly replies to messages. Even a year out from our booking she was quick to reply to any questions we had. She's also a dachshund lover which makes her an extra step above in our book. If you've landed here just book it.

PEBS is a true Nova Scotian hidden Gem and an unforgettable experience. Be it for a couple, family or group up to 6. Highly recommend this getaway in the Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall and commend the effort made my Brandon & Max with those “special little touches”. Six (6) gold stars ⭐️

Unfortunately, due to health circumstances, we were unable to stay at Shelly’s place. However, communication with Shelly was excellent, she is very compassionate and understanding, and I look forward to staying at her place in the future.

One of the best places we have ever stayed, with one of the best hosts. The home is thoughtful and peaceful, Arnold and his wife have done a beautiful job at cultivating a relaxing and restful environment. The scenery and area is amazing, perfect central location for exploring lots of different parts of Maine, or the house/land is good enough for a trip where you just stay in for a week. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, hope to be back sooner than later.

We loved our stay at the cottage! We are native Mainers and the Steuben/Milbridge area is one of our go-to locations for relaxation. The cottage was private, peaceful, and the views were amazing! Being right on the water was a nice perk and we spent some time on the rocks when the tide was out. The cottage has wonderfully comfortable furniture and one of the most comfortable beds we have slept on! It is also one of the cleanest cottages we have stayed in as well. It felt very much like home! Teresa was in contact throughout our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. It was great to know she was there to answer any questions we may have had. We will definitely stay again!!!

This home is just lovely. The town is very small and you need to drive 10-15 miles to the nearest "large" town to get groceries of any consequence. That being said, get what you need ahead of time and just enjoy the GORGEOUS surroundings. A marvelous place to decompress. There is no TV and no radio reception which we loved. We were able to buy lobster right off a boat and everything you need to cook and eat them is provided. I very much like that the shower has what you need in neat push button bottles mounted on the wall. There were plenty of towels and extra blankets if needed. Can't say enough about the spectacular views. Watching the lobster/fishing boats go in and out and hearing the rumble of the engines was great. The home is close enough that you could use it for your base to visit Acadia Nat Park. Don't miss going to Winter Harbor. Small but some good art, good coffee shop, and a super general store. You can also catch a ferry over to Bar Harbor from there.

Very cool yurt on a kelp farm! Right on the water and the chairs overlooking the bay for the sunset was worth the couple nights in itself. Trey is there to meet you and show you around the property. There were also very friendly property dogs that loved to say hello! The bathroom and shower were in a separate building but was clean and just a few feet from the yurt. There were windows in the yurt that make for a nice breeze through the yurt. The kitchen amenities made making coffee and heating up food a breeze. The host had great information about trails in the area and food recommendations.

Unbelievable place! This is perfect coastal Maine , so no need to leave property.its close to a great beach , Acadia, and host makes it easy and a wonderful experience!

This was a beautiful place to enjoy a relaxing and tranquil vacation. Elizabeth was very attentive and helpful when there were questions and answered promptly. There was lots to do in the area with beautiful surroundings.

We enjoyed our stay at Ashleys's home. It is a beautiful, peaceful and lovely location, with great proximity to Acadia National Park, Winter Harbor and the Schoodic Institute. Our family enjoyed watching the lobster boats in the morning and noodling around the peninsula. It was a very comfortable space, with a well stocked kitchen and dining area.

This was a beautiful peaceful setting in a great location to access Acadia National Park. The cabin was very comfortable with everything we needed. Shasta was a terrific host and communicated in an extremely timely manner when we had questions. The swing out on the lake and the second floor outdoor deck were great to enjoy after getting back from a long day. The lake itself was pristine and had a gorgeous fall foliage backdrop. If nature is your thing, but with modern amenities, this is your place to stay.

A true gem, hidden in the depths of gunning cove shelburne county, this chateau is something out of a movie. With each detail everything was extraordinary. A wonderful experience and worth the stay at any price point!!

Amelie was a great host. If you want to be near Bar Harbor, it’s a bit of a drive. If you are fine enjoying the more secluded and peaceful beauty of Schoodic, it’s an amazing, magical place!

What a wonderful stay! Thank you for the wonderful accommodations. The house was pristine, well stocked, and the thoughtful level of detail of recommendations was extremely helpful. Our party of 11 (3 separate families) had more than enough space to spread out and feel at home.

Mitch’s house on the point was incredible for our extended family’s vacation in Maine! It was so peaceful on the ocean and great to venture around the surrounding area. The home had everything you could need! Especially with 4 children in our group ranging from 1 to 13. We really loved having a fire in the fire pit every night we were there!

From the views to the styling of the decor of the home, everything about this place is beautiful. Highly recommend.

This Airbnb is BEAUTIFUL inside and out. We were a group of 3 couples and this was perfect for our weekend vacation. The view from the hot tub was incredible and the kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner. Beds were comfortable and the living room was spacious enough for 6! Thank you for the great experience!
