We stayed at Kane’s place as we had a wedding to attend at Avalon Castle so we stayed the 2 nights. Unfortunately we did not have enough time to enjoy the outdoors as much as we would have liked but the inside was very cosy as it was a little crisp. Heating was lovely but a little loud to have on during night but that just might be just for me. Beds were comfy. Definitely would recommend staying here nice & peace full.

Fantastic venue. My partner and I booked this quiet getaway to celebrate new years. It had the peace and quiet we were after. The host was also very accommodating answering any questions we had. We highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a quiet getaway with a great and reaponsive host. 5/5 stars.

We had the most wonderful stay at Mr. Brett’s Airbnb! The place was absolutely stunning – peaceful, idyllic, and full of character. Every corner of the home felt special and unique, making it a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Mr. Brett himself was an amazing host. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, while also giving us the privacy to truly unwind and enjoy the space. His warm hospitality really made the experience that much more special. We are already planning our next visit and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with a host who truly cares!

Absolutely beautiful place can’t wait to come back and stay again

We had a great experience staying at this cozy cabin. The gravel road leading up to it was a bit rough, but manageable. The peaceful isolation and forest surroundings were exactly what we were looking for, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. One of the highlights was seeing alpacas in the morning, which was a fun and unique experience. The fireplace added to the cozy atmosphere, and while the cabin isn’t luxurious, it has all the essentials you need for a relaxing weekend getaway. We did notice the water in the spa was a little cloudy and came across a few spiders in the cabin, but nothing too unexpected for a place in the woods. A nice touch was the collection of board games, which we really enjoyed playing. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and a great spot for those looking to unplug and unwind.

The cottage was very relaxing, private and romantic. We loved the spa bath and the space as a whole. Was walking distance to the shops and restaurants which we enjoyed. Will definitely be back to check out their other cottages as well.

We loved our stay at Shaun’s in Seville! We chose Seville because it was close to all the places we wanted to go in the Yarra Valley, but a bit quieter. Shaun gave us some great local winery recommendations (loved Seville Hill!). The wood fireplace was a lovely touch. We had a great off the grid weekend. Will definitely stay at Shaun’s again when we’re looking for a weekend escape. Thank you!!

Very comfortable and clean, enough space for the 6 of us. Great location to cafes and pubs with easy access to main street and shops. The bottle of Zonzos Bellini and cheese platter was a nice treat. Thankyou.

Thanks for having us! We had such a wonderful time! The place is well-furnished, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed. Our toddler had an amazing time exploring the farm, interacting with the animals, picking fresh strawberries and veg, and enjoying fresh eggs for breakfast. It was such a lovely getaway and farm experience for our family including our dog. :) We would highly recommend!

I loved stating in this beautiful cottage at Tara Rise surrounded by he serene gardens resembling a Botanical garden with so many fruit trees and varieties of plants. If you're lucky, as I was to enjoy the delicious grapefruit and oranges from he garden. The cottage had everything I needed including a wonderful fireplace. My stay was very relaxing and rejuvenating, thank you Siobhan

I stayed with my three children and we were very comfortable and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. We cooked during our stay and there was everything we needed. The open lounge and dining area is a good size and has a beautiful outlook to the bush land outside. The house is on a large block with heaps of bush. It is very private. It was great for us all to get away from our busy lives and screens. The kids enjoyed the trampoline and rope swing. The house was easy to find and access. Communication was clear and responsive from the hosts. Thank you

I stayed for 5 days with my two kids aged 5 and 4. Can’t recommend this place strongly enough. Between the surrounding beauty of the area and the tranquility of the house, we had an amazing week. Kids loved all the play equipment outside and there was loads of space for them to ride their bikes also. Would love to come back in winter to light the fire and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere again.

The Shack was delightful. Had all necessary home items. Compostable toilet worked well, no bad smells at all. Was weird not having to flush... Large enclosed back yard for pets, which was great. Close to town, Redwood Forest, La la falls & other sights. Very peaceful & relaxing.

Had a very peaceful and relaxing stay with beautiful surrounds and lots of wildlife passing by. Great proximity to hikes and other activities. Having a spa bath at the end of a long hike was very nice!

We stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. The house was warm and inviting, was on a quiet road and close to lots of great spots to eat out. The whispering trees bungalow was nice, quiet, relaxing, peaceful very clean and tidy and private .Not to far from Main Street and Woolworths, restaurants, laundry matt and necessities. Willeke was very responsive with replies and to let you know how to access the property and what to do very clear instructions. Deffinately would stay again 😀

We were so impressed with the thoughtfulness that had gone into the accommodation. Little touches that really made our stay so comfortable and luxurious. The suntrap on the rear deck, the sewing kit and iron; little things that really make a difference.

Exceptional cottage. We loved our weekend! The cottage is better than the photos. The garden (front and back) is stunning and lots of wildlife and very secure for dogs. The cottage was super clean and had everything we needed. Great location - walking distance to Healesville shops and a short drive to so many wineries. Paul and Judith were great hosts and their property is GREAT value for money.

Margie was super helpful and very friendly. Couldn’t have done more to accommodate us especially with an early arrival for a wedding. Place was as advertised. Very clean and comfortable. Visiting kookaburras were a delight.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely Airbnb right in the heart of Healesville. The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to cafes, restaurants, and the local shops. Being so close to the main street made everything super convenient, yet the place was still quiet and peaceful at night. The home itself was clean, cozy, and beautifully styled, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Great base for exploring the Yarra Valley too. Highly recommend!

lovely cottage filled with so many little extras and wonderful touches. So warm and cosy. Great value with so many extras and lots of space . Bird life and nature was fantastic. Pottered garden had lovely home grown treats and fed the birds with seed provided. Ally was incredibly helpful and gives lots of notes and tips along the way. We ate a lots of local restaurants in Seville and Heasville. Enjoyed the Sanctuary and lots of other great attractions . Have recommended to friends and family and can't wait to come back and explore more . So peaceful the stars were amazing and no noise accept nature. Thanks Ally for sharing your home.

Naomi was a wonderful host! The Forest cottage was in a serene location and was a great place to unwind for the weekend. It was a short drive to some beautiful towns in the Dandenong and the sound of the kookaburras and the bubbling creek was a lovely soundscape to kick off our relaxing stay!
