We had an amazing trip to this beautiful property to celebrate a birthday! Wonderful house that was perfect for our party of 3 couples plus kids and dog! And what a fabulous and peaceful location! Cooking lunch for 8 was a breeze with everything being in hand in the kitchen! Hoping to making staying here an annual event ! Thanks to Carolyn for being so communicative and accommodating

Maxxs place was a real find. We were in the area for a family wedding and needed a place with multiple and flexible options for many family members. This was perfect for us. It is in a beautiful location with a description that all the family describing it as quirky. There were so many delightful finds and it is clear that there are more work being done. about 12 kms from the centre of Murrumbateman, and next to the chocolate place, this was the combination of peace and access. Each room has beautiful view to the dam/lake and the wildlife is abundant. The addition of domesticated chickens and alpacas were a delight for the children. The bunk room was ideal for the children to do what they wanted. We would definitely recommend.

WE had a wonderful stay in fantastic surroundings. The house was perfect for our group of 5 senior ladies with lots of room to relax. The house was very clean with a huge supply of all necessary items. We were extremely comfortable in this lovely old home with lots of photographs and books to check out. The only thing which we would like to mention for an added delight would be a history of the home and the people who had lived in it. Im sure it would be a great read! We would not hesitate in recommending this property to anyone who loves the country and wild life.

Simple sleeping quarters with a kitchen worth spending time in. Enjoyed staying with 10 adults, walks on the property and exploring the surrounding area.

We had a fantastic stay. They are so friendly and helpful with a good sense of humor. Breakfast was served with a beautiful view so that’s a great start of the day. Hopefully we will be back in the area so we can schedule more time @ they’re relaxing property. We definitely recommend staying here ☺️.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Joan's place. Joan is very personable, well- organised and fun, with lots of local recommendations - and the donkeys are simply wonderful. Any animal lover will love this spot.

Stoneleigh Cottage was outstanding. It was such a great country holiday. The cottage and host were above expectations and we will be back! We were visiting friends nearby so it was so convenient to have our own accomodation.

Rachel’s Fox Trot farm stay is an absolute dream. We arrived and were amazed how beautiful the house was, how nicely it was decorated, and how impeccably clean it was. The location is perfection, with gorgeous animals always in sight. Rachel is so lovely as well. She is kind and well meaning and gave some great recommendations for local wineries. If you’re thinking about booking this place, do not hesitate! It is the best Air BnB I’ve stayed in and I can’t wait to go back. A big thank you to Rachel for creating such a beautiful space 💛

We had an amazing time at this tiny home! The views were stunning, and the peaceful setting made for a truly relaxing stay. The home was beautifully designed with thoughtful touches that made it feel cozy and comfortable. We loved the attention to detail and how everything was set up so well. Staying at Woodgrove was such a beautiful home away from home. I couldn’t have asked for a more lovely, accommodating and friendly host than Tracie. The unit was so well equipped with EVERYTHING I would ever need for the stay; and the extra little touches were so appreciated- the milk and bread, the lovely towels, soft bedding and a homely environment. Thankyou so much for having me Tracie and John, I will definitely stay again when I’m next in Canberra 😊

We stayed at the Lake George Homstead. 7 adults and 3 children and a pet Labrador. The property has enough bedrooms to easily accommodate a large group in comfort with privacy. Extra large living and dining area was an attractive feature. We stayed for 2 days. Apart from exploring the vineyard and enjoying a wine tasting with pizzas from the vineyard Cafe we used the property as a base to explore Canberra.

Warroo Homestead has phenomenal views over the valley! Watching the sunset from the pool deck was a highlight. The pool provided non stop fun and entertainment for our family of 6 adults and a couple of toddlers. We all felt relaxed and rejuvenated from the peacefulness and tranquility that the property provides. The home is a kilometre off the road and the only neighbours were sheep, friendly cows and kangaroos. The home is tastefully decorated and the beds were comfy. We kept pinching ourselves when we sat on the back verandah and looked out over the pool to the rolling hills, our own little piece of paradise for a very enjoyable long weekend. Thank you Cyrus and April for your hospitality.

What a beautiful loft! Rosie is so attentive to details, we loved the decoration and notes around the place. Delicious home baked muffins were waiting for us when we got to the loft. Following day we woke up to an amazing sunrise that we watched comfortably by the couch while having a cup of coffee. The place had everything we needed, absolutely stress free. Full of wildlife and perfect views. Rosie was a great host, can’t recommend her place enough.

Loved our weekend stay at Helen and Terry’s. The property is so beautifully well kept and decorated, exceeded our expectations. So many nice cafes and restaurants near by. Great location; close enough to the heart of Canberra, but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet. We met Helen and Terry who were so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Wonderful home, very peaceful environment. Very proactive host - living on the same property meant Nikki was always available. Extra linen would have been helpful so we could have washed the linen during the stay. Beautiful place for a quiet retreat.

Lovely place for a quick pit stop for our road trip. Very spacious and great outdoor dog run for our 2 big dogs. Huge bedroom to accommodate 2 adults and a baby. Great kitchen. Helen was very lovely, helpful and quick at responding.

A magical stay at the Barn. Everything is pristine and stylish and we loved all the special touches - local breakfast, luxe linen and marshmallows for the fire pit. Michelle went above and beyond with farm activities for our kids, egg finding, horse feeding and we loved being able to walk around and see all the animals. Thank you for all the helpful recommendations. Highly recommend.

This accomodation is lovely, very clean and modern. The bed was super comfortable, combined with the relaxing, peaceful and quiet surroundings, I had an amazing sleep and felt totally recharged after this stay. Dean was also very friendly and welcoming, and the visitor parking was clearly labelled to make entry easy.
