Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in dem Haus! Die Ausstattung ist sehr hochwertig, die Sauna ist eine echte Holzsauna- Holz war vorhanden. Die Langlaufloipen beginnen direkt am Ende der Straße und führen auf die Ostsee oder ins Naturschutzgebiet. Der Bahnhof und die Busstation ist fußläufig sehr schnell zu erreichen- Einkaufen ohne Auto somit kein Problem. Das Eisbadeloch ist ebenfalls fußläufig erreichbar. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit!

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Haus war einfach unvergesslich! Die Lage am Fluss war absolut atemberaubend und die Aussicht auf die Natur rundum ließ uns jeden Tag aufs Neue staunen. Ein ganz besonderes Highlight war der Abend, an dem wir die Polarlichter direkt über dem Haus und dem angrenzenden Fluss sehen konnten – ein Anblick, den man wohl nur selten im Leben erlebt! Es war ein magischer Moment, den wir nie vergessen werden. Die Umgebung war unglaublich ruhig und privat – perfekt, um wirklich abzuschalten und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Für uns war es die perfekte Auszeit, fernab vom hektischen Alltag. Die Fahrt zur nächsten Stadt und Einkaufsmöglichkeit dauert zwar etwa eine halbe Stunde, aber das war für uns überhaupt kein Problem, denn es hat sich absolut gelohnt, in dieser idyllischen Lage zu wohnen. Ein Auto ist hier definitiv notwendig, um die Region bequem zu erkunden. Alles in allem war es eine traumhafte Woche, die wir in vollen Zügen genossen haben.

We loved our stay at the log house! The house is modern, clean and cozy and we felt right at home! It was the perfect hub to explore Rovaniemi - so close to the city center and all the restaurants, at the same time an uber away from all the activities we booked. We loved using the fireplace, the hot tub (didn’t get the chance to use the pizza oven), the sleighs for the kids and the kitchen set up that kept us all together while we were making some food or enjoying a glass of wine. Juha and his daughter Unna went above and beyond to cater for our requests - we rented snowsuits and Juha delivered them to the house as well as daily breakfast items which Unna delivered to the house. The hosts are very responsive and quick to answer all queries. Check in/ out was very smooth. We stayed as a family of 6 adults, 2 kids + a baby. We appreciated the baby cot and chair provided in the house!

What a lovely place! We had the best time with our two kids. So peaceful, well designed and exactly what we were looking for. Sauna, hot tub, toys for kids and many other perks included. We had a great weather in the end of March (sunny and snowy), but I’m sure it’s also lovely in the summer months. Overall very happy.

Outstanding accommodation with Madeleine and Sandra being exceptional hosts. We couldn’t fault anything. Breakfast was perfect and brought over to us every day, with choice of foods including eggs, cereal, fresh bread, homemade jams and yoghurts. The house was very clean and tidy and the facilities were great, especially the jacuzzi and sauna. Great shower and good range of kitchen equipment to prepare meals at home. Everything was straightforward to use, including the jacuzzi, sauna and open fireplace. The stairs were steep but that didn’t affect us and added to the charm of the house. Excellent personal touches. They even baked us a Birthday cake as a surprise!. We booked this place as a base for visiting Overkallix (20mins) and doing winter activities there, which proved perfect for us. I wouldn’t hesitate staying here again or recommending this place to others.

Thank you for a wonderful country style rustic authentic and super pleasant stay! Sandra and Madeleine were so welcoming and kind. This was far beyond a regular airbnb experience, and we couldn't thank them enough so we strongly recommend not to think twice. They brought us a wonderful breakfast every morning, took care of every little thing whole also giving us space. Thank you, we hope to be back!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Haus von Peter und Lovisa! Der Check-In war problemlos und einfach und von Peter haben wir gleich noch viele gute Tipps für die Umgebung bekommen. Das Haus ist wunderschön! Von Sekunde eins, haben wir uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Ausstattung ist perfekt! Alles da was man braucht. Wir waren Anfang März dort. Es lag noch Schnee und der See war zugefroren. Wir durften uns die Kick-Sleds nehmen und sind damit über den See gefahren. Und hatten auch noch sehr glück mit intensiven Polarlichtern direkt über dem Haus. Der Kamin trägt ein übriges zu dem gemütlichen Aufenthalt bei. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Empfehlen können wir noch Ausflüge zu den Wasserfällen nach Storforsen und Eislaufen auf der Ostsee in Lulea (Im Sportgeschäft dort kann man Skates leihen). Vielen Dank Peter und Lovisa, dass ihr euer tolles privates Haus Gästen zur Verfügung stellt! Man merkt ihr habt alles mit Liebe eingerichet. Wir werden bestimmt nochmal wiederkommen!

Sanna was a super nice host, and reacted very fast when we needed something. The Appartement had everything we needed. We spend a lot of time in the whirlpool, we were even so lucky to see aurora from the jacuzzi one night.

Wir waren drei Nächte in der Unterkunft. Es liegt abgelegen und ruhig an einem See. In der letzten Nacht konnten wir die Polarlichter sehen. Es war großartig. Die Sauna und der Whirpool sind toll. Die Betten waren sehr gemütlich. Ob der Küche hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die Kommunikation war hervorragend. Wir bekamen Tips für die Gegend und es wurde super schnell geantwortet. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen :)

Hemos pasado 5 días en casa de Daiva fantásticos. La casa tiene de todo, super cómoda, super cerca aunque nosotros teníamos coche de alquiler. La sauna es un plus,los trineos para los peques otro plus. Recomiendo mucho esta casa y volvería a repetir encantada

Super sejour avec Sinnika et Jamme, ultra accueillants, qui ont nous ont fait bénéficier de précieux conseils. Très belles et chaleureuse sortie avec Jamme pour chasser les autores boréales avec feu de camp et nourriture typique finlandaise. Le sauna était d'un grand réconfort avec les journées passées dans le grand froid extérieur.

위치는 한적한시골마을 느낌으로 로바니에미에서 여유를 느끼고싶다면 추천해요. 우리는 아이와 가족여행으로 방문했고 오로라도 숙소 앞에서 볼 수 있었습니다. 방도 깨끗하고 사우나도 잘 이용했어요. 다시 시내로 돌아갈 때 택시가 안 잡혀서 곤란했지만 이웃의 도움을 받아 해결했습니다. 왕복 택시비가 꽤 비싸게 나왔는데 후회없는 3박4일이었습니다~^^

Wir haben uns wirklich richtig wohlgefühlt. Besonders gut hat es uns gefallen, als Saras Mann den Kamin entfacht hatte und wir den ganzen Abend am Feuer verbringen konnten. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

I would like to say a huge thank you to MaRi for such a wonderful home and hospitality. The house is located a 45-minute walk from the city center. By bus, it takes only 5 minutes, and the ticket costs €9. The house itself is very cozy. Mari, as a host, is very responsive and welcoming. She replied to messages within minutes and was very understanding. If any help was needed, she was always there to assist. The house is very warm, the sauna is amazing, and everything is exceptionally clean and cozy. Thank you so much! I will be recommending this place to all my friends and acquaintances. I would rate this home 100 out of 100!

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans la maison de Sanna et tout était parfait. Avant même d'arriver, la communication avec Sanna a été très rapide et facile. Sa maison est très jolie, très bien décorée et remplie de petites attentions. Le sauna est un vrai plus. C'est la première fois que je loge chez quelqu'un d'autre et que je m'y suis sentie aussi bien. Il y a des gens qui ont le sens du service et Sanna en fait définitivement partie. Je ne peux que recommander, tout était simplement parfait.

Johanna’s place was perfect for our family of four. It included everything we needed and was centrally located. We appreciated the special treats she left for my husband, kids, and me.

Bon rapport qualité prix. Très propre. Bon emplacement (aéroport à 20 minutes / arrêt de bus à 20m / 2 supermarchés de proximité à 5 minutes en voiture) Endroit calme Nous avons adoré le sauna. Quelques petits défauts: manque quelques ustensiles, la chambre du fond reste un peu moins chaudes du reste de la maison. Nous conseillons ce logement.

Pasi est un hôte très réactif et sympathique, La maison est typique et en même temps très agréable avec tout le confort nécessaire, la literie est de bonne qualité et il y a tout ce dont on a besoin dans la maison et à proximité. Nous recommandons et remercions Pasi pour notre séjour.

Mycket mysigt och autentiskt hus i mysig by. Tommy var vänlig och hjälpsam. Platsen är perfekt för den som vill njuta av lugna promenader i vacker miljö, och nöjer sig med det enkla. Lång väg till större samhällen, men vi klarade oss mycket bra på de livsmedel som fanns att tillgå i den lilla byaffären. Mycket nöjd och utvilad efter vistelsen!

Het huis van Robin is een echt pareltje. Alles is er aanwezig voor een schitterend verblijf en de omgeving is prachtig. Er is dichtbij een skipiste en je kan er een tocht doen met husky's of een sneeuwscooter. Het is niet super toeristisch waardoor je ook prachtige wandelingen kan maken zonder iemand tegen te komen. Zo kan je ten volle genieten van winterwonderland. Ook de communicatie met Robin verliep heel vlot. Een aanrader voor iedereen die naar Lapland wil!

Such a great home minutes from the center of Rovaniemi and on the river, clean and welcoming space, comfortable accommodations, responsive host, and everything you can ask for. Would highly recommend to visitors.
