We came up to look at some potential wedding venues and stayed at Harvey’s for a few nights with our dog Petey. The place was great and Harvey was very responsive.

This home is amazing! It was perfect for our group of ten family members that were in the area to celebrate a wedding for the weekend. Our hosts could not have been more accommodating and we were so impressed with their hospitality!! So many nice touches and such a spacious, comfortable home - no detail overlooked. Enjoyed our stay immensely and would definitely return.

This cute cottage was in a fantastic location- a short walk to the shops and restaurants in town. The owners were incredibly gracious and communicative with us through out our stay. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels left out for us. The place was clean and we had everything that we needed. Thank you!

This was a lovely place and stay. It was beautifully furnished, comfortable, with terrific design. We felt so at home, partly because there were supplies such as extra blankets, coffee, and tissues. Thank you so much, highly recommend!

Kathleens space was the PERFECT spot. Super close to everything, very walkable/bikeable. Kathleen was quick to respond when I had questions, and had fantastic suggestions. The neighborhood was very cute. Kitchen was VERY well stocked, and while we didn't need much in that area (so many good resturaunts) it's great to know that if we needed to cook we would have everything we needed. Super clean, especially the bathroom! loved it, and we will be back!

Had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed this beautiful home. The layout was perfect for our family of 11, which included 3 kiddos. We felt right at home. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, making it easy to cook for our large group. The bathrooms were pristine and the beds were very comfortable. The sunrise was absolutely beautiful from my bedroom! Alyssa was very quick to respond to any questions I had before we arrived, making the whole process very easy. I would highly recommend this property.

This is a beautiful old house and maintained in excellent condition. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable and with plenty of pillows. Every bedroom has a full bathroom and the bathrooms are quite modern and well maintained. We stayed with two large dogs and the owner was super welcoming to animals. We enjoyed saying hello to the horses, llamas and chickens in the morning! This property is close to UNH - we were visiting our son for the long weekend, close to Portsmouth and to multiple parks and trails. We did two great hikes, one in Stratham Hill Park and the other on in Oakland Town Forest - both pretty close. Thank you Torie for a great stay!

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this house. Spacious and a lot of light. You can see the marsh from the windows, which is lovely. Near the beach. Recommend!

LOVED LOVED! My friends and I all agreed that this house looks just like the pictures for once! Very nice unexpected touches/surprises. House had everything you could really need! I believe the host could get away with charging more in my opinion! I hope to come back in the future.

Cottage in Shapleigh a.k.a. CampTallPines exceeded our expectations. I was looking for a nice place as a mid-point to meet my adult daughter who lives in northern ME. I invited my mother (86) to join us. The cottage was recently renovated, the kitchen was perfect with all new appliances/gadgets, the bathrooms were beautiful, the beds were very comfortable and furnished with duvets covers and overall the cottage was homey with a beautiful mix of old and new. As for the outside, Christina and Liz have created a magical place for kids, young and old, to enjoy. We enjoyed a 55 degree day and walked to the lake, visited a maple farm, sat by the fire pit with wine, watched March Madness, and just enjoyed quality time together. It was perfect!

The place was fantastic! Looked just as pictured/described. We were a group of 8 adults and 4 kids and were very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were great, clean, and heated as promised. It felt private even though there were other units on site. The space is large and winding - a kids hide and seek dream :) lots of gathering spaces to hang out. John was super responsive and helpful. Thanks!!

We stayed the weekend for our Daughter’s Figure skating competition. This house was perfect for what we needed. The house was spotless, had everything you could think of needing, and then some. Susan had a crib in one of the bedrooms and kids books/ games ect for the children, which was a lovely surprise and made it feel very kid friendly and very convenient for the family. I can’t say enough good, I would highly recommend staying here! We would happily stay here again next year! Thank You Susan!

spectacular location which can't be understated. Host very responsive. Home was clean. Had all the basics ++ for superior kitchen and bedrooms. We celebrated a milestone birthday ages from 2-65. Six families flying in from both coasts. Both Portland and Boston airports very close and convenient. Was large enough to give families own personal space as well as the common area was large enough for everyone to be together. Stunning views from several bedrooms with crashing waves as background noise. Additionally, very convenient grocery & supply delivery to the front door from Hannaford and Walmart, as well as Amazon. (we never left the house). Clearly, the luxury and glory gave our family a foundation for a legendary vacation. small things: two bags of ice in the freezer was a perfect touch. Upon arrival the fireplace was not working but the host made it right. We want to rent again!

We had a wonderful stay for Christmas, we were even allowed to bring our fur baby! The home was beautiful with all of the amenities we could hope for.

Mel was a great host and her place is comfortable for a large group. The beach is super close and there are lots of good restaurants within a ten minute drive. I highly recommend.

Keith's place was such a cozy stay! The facility was spacious and well-ventilated. Keith was helpful, and the kitchen was equipped with items to cook with. Would love to stay again! The neighborhood cats are very friendly, I enjoyed interacting with them and giving them treats!

Margaret is an extremely pleasant host. Our experience couldn't have been better from booking thru checkout. Our stay completely met our expectations and was perfect for our family of 4 (all grown individuals) and our dog. We had the pleasure of running into Margaret and her family and that was a complete validation of the quality of our fantastic experience. Thank you!

This was a great get away. Right on the lake with the convenience of using their kayaks, row boat, and peddleboat. Also had an array of life jackets for everyone to be safe. Scenery is beautiful, location is peaceful! We read, kayaked, played pinpong in their basement, sat around the firepit and listened to nature! The house is exactly how you see it in the pics, plus better! The home is spotless and has everything you need! Host Heidi is very responsive! They even have many board games and puzzles to play. Rachel’s place was extremely clean and comfortable. It was the perfect place to spend a snowy and stormy day with our pup. Very convenient to get to Portland. Close to grocery store and anything you might need. Rachel was very quick to respond when we had questions and had ice melt delivered for us same day which was a huge help in the storm.

George was a great host. The location was perfect for what we needed to be close to our son in Dover. The unit had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you, George!

Host was great and friendly. Beautiful neighborhood. Apt was very clean and comfortable. Many extras like Keurig, coffee, tea hot chocolate and water bottles. Cozy extra blankets, fans and fireplace. Bathroom was clean and had liquid soaps, shampoo etc. Not a full kitchen, but all you need. Would definitely stay again.

Charming vintage cottage. Fantastic location just off route 1 and minutes from downtown Portland. Everything is as described and as pictured. Not fancy but very functional and clean. Quiet neighborhood you can walk around in including a shore road along the bay.
