We had a fantastic week at Chantry Cottage. It was a fabulous place to stay - it feels luxurious but also has all you need practically, with a really helpful information and good starter pack provided by the hosts. Very dog friendly too! The setting is so beautiful and peaceful, with lovely walks from the door and loads of great walking a short car trip away. We don't normally book cottages that adjoin the owners, but Shanie and Tom couldn't have been better hosts, leaving us to enjoy our holiday, but really helpful and kind if we needed anything. Would definitely stay again!!

Perfect place for 3 old colleagues and partners to get together for a day at the races. House was perfect.

We absolutely adored staying here and can't wait to return. It was a perfect stay with our toddler who loves to be outside and he had great fun at the pond, play barn and trampoline. Check in was smooth and we enjoyed a local meal at the Fox and Goose. The highlight was being in such beautiful peaceful surroundings with lots of walking paths and within 20 minutes of Alton towers and Cbeebies land. We have already recommended to friends and family.

Gorgeous little house, super warm and cosy, lovelyand clean too. Excellent communication from the host and very easy check in. My eldest is epileptic so being able to park on the drive right outside was a big bonus for us incase we had to get him inside post seizure. A million times better than 4 of use trying to sleep in one hotel room. I'm sure we'll be back especially as rhe host accepts dogs too x

Not enough words to express how perfect this place was. Booked it for a work bonding weekend and it was the perfect setting. Great host communication, lots of condiments at hand, wellies left, beautiful outdoor bath and birds. Just heaven

Claughton Hall sits in a beautiful location; isolated and peaceful but easy enough to get out to surrounding areas. Accommodation was simply superb; well furnished with plenty of space, a well equipped kitchen, a cosy living/dining room with log burner and especially very, very comfortable beds! Despite the bad weather we had it was a most enjoyable stay. Sam is a great host and always on hand if needed. I would not hesitate to recommend and would definitely go back. Anne

Highly recommend! Everything about this Airbnb is perfect! Jonathon was very helpful and friendly, recommending local walks and hikes. My friends and I really enjoyed the kayaking on the lake that Jonathon offered. The Location was perfect with beautiful views and being on the water front. It was the ideal place for our first time in the Lake District!! ⭐️

My kids love the Swallows and Amazons books so to be able to stay here was truly like being in a storybook. The accommodation itself was a great balance between keeping the old world charm but with a modern touch. We came in winter and it was great, we hope to be back one year in summer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Loft. The cottage was cosy with thought out decor and the surrounding views were gorgeous at the farm. Town was a 40 minute walk which was extremely peaceful and scenic. We loved every minute of our stay and was perfect for us, we would love to return. Thanks Jonathon!

Spacious and comfortable. Granary Cottage was equipped with everything we needed and Phil, the host was so helpful and friendly. Ideally located for wonderful local pubs and further afield to York and surrounding area. Will definitely be back

Highly recommend the cottages. You will have all you require for a comfortable stay. Great for pets, super walking space and the bonus of being able to purchase fresh eggs. The air display from RAF Leeming is fantastic. Super choice of games to use and great pub with amazing food just down the road which is also pet friendly too. Lovely places to visit nearby.

Perfect place for a break in a quiet part of the Lakes. The cottage is lovely & clean with everything you want to feel at home. Janet was so nice & helpful with all her communication, couldn't wish for a better host. Definitely recommend!

A beautiful charming, little cottage in a stunning location. Sam's directions were spot on and he was extremely friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time, the hot tub was great and the chickens, Babs and Marge were adorable. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay. The level of amenities here were of a high quality and attention to detail was evident. I really appreciated the thought that was put into the set up. Duck food and sweets for the kids & other nice touches like binoculars. It was really clean and tidy when we arrived and plenty of bin liners and dishwasher tablets to use. All the facilities were of a high standard and the beds and sitting area really comfy. We loved our stay and would like to come again.

A girls night away in the cabins and we wanted to stay forever longer! When we arrived we were so shocked by how stunning it was, so quiet with only the sound of the river and the most stylish cabins and good sized hot tub. It had everything we could've needed and a very high tech air fryer. Anthony was very responsive and friendly and came out in the evening to fix a lightbulb for us. The hot tub was beautifully clean and a lovely temperature. I have sent links to all my friends and family because you must see this place! Thank you so much, and we will be back! Xx

I loved my stay at Riverside Cabins it was beautiful and peaceful and everything we needed! We are going to make this our annual anniversary because it’s just everything you need for a romantic stay! It was so clean there was absolutely no faults what so ever!

We stayed at Riverside Cabins as a surprise for my husband's birthday. From the time of booking, with help to have balloons in the cabin prior to our arrival, to organising the hot tub to warm up quicker as we were only staying for 1 night, everyone was so friendly, accommodating & extremely helpful! I couldn't recommend this place enough! The location is no more than perfect! It was a freezing cold night (-2 i think) which gave us the beautifully clear skies on which to view the stars from the hot tub. I couldn't think of a better place to have been on such a perfect night! Luckily we live local so will definitely be staying again and I have already recommended Riverside Cabins to my family and friends. The cabin was clean, warm and cosy, well equiped & beautifully decorated with a very comfy bed. Loved it! I would say more but I'm running out of the allocated number of characters! Quick you need to book before you miss out on experiencing such a perfect location! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful property. Will definitely be back as we loved it so much. The lodge was perfectly clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was absolutely amazing! Stunning lodge, big private garden and beautiful, quiet surroundings. Easy check in and check out too. Host is helpful and responsive. 10/10 stay!

This is an excellent place. Anthony has gone to exceptional lengths to make this the kind of place that he himself would have wanted to holiday in. The grounds are vast, the chalets are well spaced out, there is a sense of real peace and tranquility - the sound of running water from the nearby river, birds chirping, nearby woodland, stand up paddle boards and sit on canoes available to borrow free of charge to meander down the river with. The accommodation itself is very well thought out and very good quality. Even in the compact chalet which we were in there was a large walk in shower and plenty of covered space outside in which we could have our meals and relax. Hot tub is well maintained and was already warmed for our arrival. We came here to have a base from which to take part in the Ultimate Triathlon at Ellesmere. We'll certainly come back and stay here again next time.

We booked quite last minute & from start to finish Jeff & Sue were great. They were very responsive to messages & instantly made us feel at ease. When we arrived the lodge was even more beautiful than the pictures. Everything was beautifully presented & spotlessly cleans. They even left us a little welcome basket with bread, milk, wine, cereal etc. The added bonus for us was the paddleboard & kayak. We had hours of fun on the lake with our sons. I can't recommend this place enough we will 100% be returning in the future. Thank you to Jeff & Sue for being wonderful hosts 😊
