Beautiful home and excellent hosts. Always ready to answer any questions we had and popped by when we needed help Would 100% stay here again. The home is well equipped and decorated to a high standard. The area is peaceful and perfect for a getaway. We was here for a friend's wedding, so didn't get to explore the area too much but the house was a great place to relax after a long day. Thanks to Robbie & Kelly for being excellent hosts.

We had a great stay. The flat was spotlessly clean with lovely personal touches like fresh flowers and fruit too 😊 we had everything we needed, including tea and coffee, shampoo and shower gel, and freshly laundered towels. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay!

It was a great home to make our base to the Lakes. Windermere is about 45 mins drive. the house had more bedroom than we expected, decent kitchen, 3 bathrooms and local superstores about 4 minutes drive. Free on street parking may not be found always outside the house but never more than a minute's walk away. the small patio at the back was nice right outside the kitchen. Definately good value for money!

We had a great stay here exploring the surrounding countryside and seeing some family. Very lovely village you could walk around with a great play park if you have kids. Lovely pubs in the local area and lots of suggestions found in the welcome pack. Very grateful for the extras supplied like some croissants and milk. All the amenities plus extra (shampoo and conditioner in the shower if needed). They were very responsive when we had an issue with the heating on the first night and it was perfect for what we needed. Thanks!

Amy and Oliver - I actually have no words for how amazing this place was! I first put it in my wishlist a long while back and somehow stumbled upon it again to stay for the first time this weekend. My family and I were completely amazed at absolutely everything - every detail and the handiwork you have both put into this place is just immaculate. I’m so grateful I was able to find this place - it was so homely, so clean, absolutely stunning, the most equipped place we’ve stayed in and so much more. My only complaint is that we wish we stayed LONGER! I hope you will continue to keep your home open as it’s an amazing place to stay - we hope to be back (and perhaps with others who haven’t been blessed to see it yet). Thank you for everything you supplied us with this weekend - we were fascinated by everything and we are still talking about the home now that we’re home! Grace and Daniel were great hosts. I had a wonderful stay, the accommodation was as described and walkable to everything I needed. The welcome package was truly appreciated and a nice touch. They were responsive and I will certainly return to stay with them in the future. Excellent experience, I will recommending their accommodation to all my friends and family who may visit the area.

Had an absolutely amazing stay at Rob and Lisa’s. The hosts were amazing, helpful and responsive. The apartment itself is beautiful, pristine and the amenities are amazing. The 9 of us all commented what a great space it was to stay. Really close to nice bars and cafes on Lark lane and not too far away from the city centre (10 mins in taxi). I would absolutely stay again and would recommend anyone else to do the same! Thank you for our stay

Cute, convenient and affordable flat close to great pubs (Golden Lion) (Staff of Life), a great Thai restaurant (3 Monkeys), a great Pizza place(Site Pizza). I took a wonderful class in town and my husband had lovely walks each day by the canal which our deck overlooked. And there’s a great antique store right across the street. Nick was warm, welcoming and flexible with our check in and full of recommendations.

From booking right through to check out communication was great. Incredibly detailed and clear instructions provided and regular checks were made to see that there were no issues. The apartment was spotless, incredible views and some lovely extra touches/treats provided (which were very much appreciated - thank you!). Highly recommend, thanks for a great stay!

I would highly recommend this property. From check in to check out, James was very responsive and helpful each time I reached out with a question. The apartment looks like the pictures and it is a gorgeous property by the water. The apartment was fully stocked and I was able to make meals as needed. It’s a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood and I felt safe my entire time there. 10/10 would definitely stay here again.

Nikki was a fantastic host. The place is absolutely stunning. I loved how it was so dog friendly. The hot tub was 10/10, one of the best I have used. Beach is only 2 minute walk away with lots of cafes and places to eat. The town centre isn't far only 10 minute walk. Would definitely recommend. Me, my partner and our dog had a lovely weekend.

Lovely luxury modern facilities and everything we needed for cooking treats away from home. A really comfy stay for all of us including our two doggies. Great for them to able to go for a walk right from the doorstep. Quiet and peaceful. Lovely views from a cosy apartment. Thank you so much for facilitating the perfect family weekend away to celebrate a birthday and some quality time together. Great to be both within a stones throw of Kendal for some lovely doggie friendly cafes and one of the best butcher shops around as well as being in the quietness of the countryside.

Our stay exceeded our expectations. Really beautiful apartment, but the outside area with the river views and wildlife are excellent . As is the location.

Darren has been an amazing host. Really nice and friendly. The apartment was exactly how it was online which was brilliant. I love how it was right in the centre of town as well which was even better. Overall a really good experience and would highly recommend.
